Jessica Biel nearly hit her brother while attempting to drive her parents' car on the set of "7th Heaven."
Biel recalled the memory when she joined her TV sitcom cast for their podcast, "Catching Up with the Camdens." The show is hosted by Biel's "7th Heaven" siblings – Beverly Mitchell, David Gallagher and Mackenzie Rosman.
The group was chatting about their favorite memories from filming when Biel was prompted to talk about the time she crashed her parents' car.
"Honestly, I was just waiting," Biel said, while laughing. "I was going to say, 'Oh, yeah. The camaraderie between us all and how we just had such a nice warm place to go to work as kids.' No. All right, you can hear the real dirt about what happened."
"I popped the clutch in my parents' Subaru when I had my learner's permit, not my real license," Biel recalled. "And I flew backwards and reversed into Mackenzie's school trailer and busted it off its supports. Broke the computer."
"The computer got smashed, my parents' car got smashed, and I almost hit my brother."
"I just remember you came screaming into the studio, because we were shooting, and you were just so shook up," Mitchell remembered. "And I was like, 'What happened?'"
The actress, who starred as Lucy in the sitcom, noted that it was raining at the time of the crash.
"Let's not pretend that we all haven't had really terrible driving mishaps," Rosman, who portrayed Ruthie, added.
Biel starred in "7th Heaven" as Mary Camden for five seasons. The show ran from 1996 until 2007 for a total of 11 seasons.
The now-43-year-old actress went on to star in films such as "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre," "The Illusionist," "Next" and "Total Recall." She said what she learned during her time on "7th Heaven" set her up for success as an actress.
"What I remember more than anything is this was live training on how to be an actor and how to work with the camera, how to deal with lighting," she told her former co-stars.
"It was such a warm, loving environment that I think I really had that opportunity to mess up," Biel continued. "Maybe let's do it this way next time, or whatever the advice was. But I was never meant to feel stupid or like I didn't know what I was doing. It was super duper supportive."

And the third one follows a World War II pilot who investigates a danger in the skies. The three of them will become prey to the killer of killers. Predator: Killer of Killers premieres Friday, June 6 at Midnight/11c on Hulu. June 6 – The Survivors Charlie Vickers and Yerin Ha star in The Survivors . The series is set in Evelyn Bay, a close-knit Tasmanian community where people know each other's names and secrets. When Kieran and Mia return to their childhood hometown to take care of Kieran's father, they are visited by ghosts from their past. The community is thrown into chaos when they are forced to face a traumatic event. The Survivors premieres Friday, June 6 at 3/2 am on Netflix. What to Stream on TV This Weekend: 'And Just Like That...,' 'The Better Sister' and More
If you're looking for some hot new titles on streaming this weekend, Max is the place to be. The streamer (which will revert back to being called HBO Max this summer) has brought back And Just Like That..., the continuation of Sex and the City, this week for some breezy summer fun. It will also debut a new film, Mountainhead, from Succession's showrunner Jesse Armstrong, on Saturday. Of course, there's plenty to watch on other streamers this weekend too. On Prime Video, you can tune into the new thriller The Better Sister starring Jessica Biel and Elizabeth Banks. Hulu's new show, Adults, penned by former writers from The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon, is now out as well. If your kids are looking for something fun, you can also check out Dog Man, the animated movie based on the book series, which arrives exclusively on Peacock. The deaths sparked a major criminal investigation and chaos for consumers. Netflix's Cold Case: The Tylenol Murders returns viewers to that time of panic. The show's three episodes are available now. Netflix Dept. Q (May 29) Dept. Q is a British crime drama adapted from the novels of the same name by Danish author Jussi Adler-Olsen. The series, starring Matthew Goode, focuses on Carl Morck, an Edinburgh detective who's assigned to a new cold case while dealing with his own demons after a shooting incident left his former partner paralyzed. The new series came out on May 29. Max Max And Just Like That..., season 3 (May 29) Carrie, Miranda, Charlotte, Seema and Lisa are back -- this is the new core group leading Max's third season of the sequel series to Sex and the City. The show returns to find Carrie and Aidan (John Corbett) still together, but very much apart now that he's living in Virginia to keep an eye on his kids. We'll still see Corbett on the show, but we're even more excited for confirmed guest stars Rosie O'Donnell and Patti LuPone. And Just Like That… premiered on May 29 and will air one episode weekly through Aug. 14. Max Mountainhead (May 31) With Succession over, that show's creator, Jesse Armstrong, has helmed a new project that once again takes aim at the rich and powerful: Mountainhead. The film stars Steve Carell, Jason Schwartzman, Cory Michael Smith and Ramy Youssef as a group of friends -- who all happen to be billionaire tech bros -- as they get together for a ski weekend while the world is in the midst of financial and political crises. The dark satire premieres May 31 on Max. Prime Video Prime Video Second Best Hospital in the Galaxy, season 2 (May 27) Prime Video's animated series Second Best Hospital in the Galaxy returned this week with a drop of eight new episodes, which star Keke Palmer and Stephanie Hsu as intergalactic surgeons. Dr. Sleech and Dr. Klak, who are also besties, specialize in treating alien ailments all over the universe, and this season finds them in a pickle when a journalist starts to look into Dr. Sleech's past. The show also features the voice talents of Kieran Culkin, Maya Rudolph, Lennon Parham and Natasha Lyonne. Prime Video The Better Sister (May 29) In Prime Video's The Better Sister, Jessica Biel and Elizabeth Banks star as sisters who couldn't be more opposite. Biel stars as Chloe, a media executive with a seemingly perfect life and family, while Banks plays her drug-addled, estranged sister Nicky. The sisters are reunited after Chloe's husband is murdered, and together they start to unravel the truth about his death. Hulu Huly Adults (May 29) Adults is a new comedy from Tonight Show writers Ben Kronengold and Rebecca Shaw about five friends, Samir (Malik Elassal), Billie (Lucy Freyer), Paul Baker (Jack Innanen), Issa (Amita Rao) and Anton (Owen Thiele) who are living together as they begin their journey in the real world, navigating work, romance and everything else. During a conversation with actress Jessica Biel, Kelly Clarkson is sharing the hack she uses to encourage her 9-year-old son Remington to brush his teeth. During the May 29 episode of 'The Kelly Clarkson Show,' Clarkson told Biel there is one daily hygiene task that her son is not a fan of completing. And that's brushing his teeth. 'He's gonna hate me saying this. I don't care because maybe it will shame him into doing it, but he just refuses to brush his teeth, like it's like a thing,' Clarkson explained. 'And so finally, I was like, 'Hey, let's make a fun thing of it.'' That's when the mom of two encouraged Remy to brush his teeth in the shower. 'I was in the shower, I'm like, 'Just take your toothbrush and your toothpaste in the shower. You can be messy,'' Clarkson said, because what 9-year-old boy doesn't like to be messy. 'So that's what I got him into in the shower,' Clarkson told Biel, who has admitted that she often eats in the shower. 'So now he's brushing his teeth!' Clarkson admitted that she doesn't 'know what it is about boys' when it comes to hygiene. As for her 10-year-old daughter, River Rose, Clarkson said she never had an issue with getting her to partake in good dental care. 'My girl is always like, 'Oh yeah, of course, I did that.' Like, I'm an idiot that I asked her,' the mom said. 'And then my son, he's just like, 'Yeah, I totally did.' And I'm like, 'You're lying. Let me smell your breath.'' But if you asked Biel, it's just being smart with your time, multitasking in the shower. 'I know this sounds disgusting,' the actress said, admitting she finds it disgusting as well, but 'this is called 'trying to get to drop-off on time' and just needing to do everything at once, because I didn't wake up early enough or something happened.' However, she does have a line. Biel said that while she often drinks her coffee in the shower, 'I don't really do sandwiches.' 'Bread is not my thing in the shower,' she continued, neither is steak, but she will eat yogurt or cereal.
