Ozzy Osbourne Funeral Procession Will March Through the Streets of Birmingham
The procession will start at 1 p.m. local time, the Birmingham City Council said, with a hearse carrying Osbourne's body through the streets of the city. The procession will end, fittingly, at the Black Sabbath bridge and bench, which has become a memorial site for Osbourne in the week since his death.

We know how much this moment will mean to his fans. We're proud to host it here with his loving family in the place where it all began, and we are grateful that they have generously offered to pay to enable this to happen and support the city is giving him the farewell he deserves.'
Osbourne died July 22 at the age of 76, just weeks after his all-star farewell concert in Birmingham. The concert featured performances from an array of metal greats, including Metallica and Guns N' Roses, while Osbourne also performed for the last time as both a solo artist and with the original members of Black Sabbath.

Black Sabbath's Biggest Hit Surges To New Highs On Multiple Billboard Charts
This week in America, Black Sabbath has four songs on the Billboard charts. All of them appear on multiple tallies, and each one climbs to a new high point on at least one or two lists as consumption of everything connected to the late rocker surges, with listeners celebrating his life and legacy weeks after his death was announced. 'Paranoid' Leads Black Sabbath's Chart Success One tune, "Paranoid," has stood out for decades as Black Sabbath's most famous. This week, it not only appears on the most Billboard tallies, but also reaches never-before-seen peaks on more rankings than any of the group's other singles in what has become a huge frame for the cut. Six New Peaks for 'Paranoid' "Paranoid" lives on half a dozen Billboard charts this week, including some focused on consumption in the U.S., general listening around the world, and streaming activity. The Black Sabbath smash rises to a newly-established high on six charts at once. The tune also keeps at its all-time best placement of No. 5 on the Hard Rock Digital Song Sales ranking and debuts at No. 43 on the Streaming Songs tally, earning the band its first-ever appearance on that list. Global Rankings Show 'Paranoid' Surging Worldwide Looking worldwide, "Paranoid" jumps to new highs on both the Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. U.S. The track debuted just last week, and in its second frame, surges to No. 25 on the all-encompassing ranking and No. 32 on the list that excludes all sales and streaming numbers from American listeners. 'Paranoid' Breaks Into Top 10 on Multiple Rock Charts Looking specifically at America, "Paranoid" jumps into the top 10 for the first time on both the Hot Rock Streaming Songs and Hot Rock & Alternative Songs charts. The Black Sabbath classic pushes from No. 12 to No. 8 on the Hot Rock & Alternative Songs ranking — the general list of the biggest tunes in those styles in the country — and surges from No. 14 to No. 6 on the roster that focuses only on the most-streamed rock cuts. "Paranoid" also hits new highs on the Hot Rock Songs and Hard Rock Streaming Songs tallies, settling in at Nos. 7 and 3, respectively. Digital Sales Slip as Streaming Drives Momentum In just its second week on two purchase-only rosters, "Paranoid" declines as streaming is keeping the Black Sabbath favorite going. Last week, it debuted on the Digital Song Sales chart at No. 5 and on the Rock Digital Song Sales ranking in the same spot. This frame, it slips one space on the rock-only ranking and three spaces to No. 8 on the all-style list of the bestselling tunes throughout the country. The Legacy of Black Sabbath's 'Paranoid' "Paranoid" was first released in 1970 as the title track from the band's sophomore album, and it became the rocker's breakthrough hit in the U.K. and U.S. More than 50 years later, the single's reinvigorated chart success underscores its role in shaping the sound of heavy metal and its ability to connect with listeners across generations.

Billie Eilish Bookends A Billboard Chart's Top 10 As A Rock Legend Slides Back
Weeks after his death, Ozzy Osbourne, as both a solo artist and part of Black Sabbath, dominates many of Billboard's rock charts. The grieving will likely continue for some time, and many of both acts' most famous tunes will continue to find space for weeks, if not months. Osbourne's grip on the rock, hard rock, and alternative tallies is loosening slightly, and now there's more room toward the top of several tallies for other stars, including Billie Eilish, who not only holds at No. 1 but also sees one of her most recent singles return to the top 10 yet again. Billie Eilish Holds No. 1 Spot and Returns to Top 10 Eilish bookends the top 10 on the Hot Rock & Alternative Songs chart this week. The singer-songwriter sits at No. 1 and No. 10 at the same time on Billboard's ranking of the most consumed tracks in those genres throughout the United States. The list blends streaming, radio airplay, and sales, though streams appear to be largely keeping her tunes afloat. 'Birds of a Feather' Extends No. 1 Run "Birds of a Feather" once again rules the Hot Rock & Alternative Songs chart. The track has spent 63 weeks somewhere on the ranking and managed only a handful of frames away from the summit. At the same time, "Wildflower," the final single pushed from Eilish's album Hit Me Hard and Soft, surges from No. 13 to No. 10. 'Wildflower' Never Hit No. 1 While "Birds of a Feather" stands as one of Eilish's five No. 1s on the Hot Rock & Alternative Songs tally, "Wildflower" has never managed to rule. Instead, the single has peaked at No. 4, and it's one of the Grammy and Oscar winner's 19 appearances inside the highest tier on the roster. "Birds of a Feather" Rules Several Charts "Birds of a Feather" is enjoying a mixed performance on the Billboard charts. It appears on many tallies, which is especially impressive for a tune that's been charting for more than 60 weeks. This frame, it holds at No. 1 on not just the Hot Rock & Alternative Songs list but also the Hot Alternative Songs tally, and it keeps inside the top 10 on several other rankings, even reappearing at No. 6 on the Alternative Digital Song Sales chart. 'Wildflower' Is on the Rise "Wildflower," by comparison, is growing in almost every instance this frame. It keeps at No. 20 on the Adult Pop Airplay chart but climbs on eight other rankings, including those focused on streaming activity and general consumption. Ozzy Osbourne and Sombr Share Multiple Top 10 Hits Eilish is one of a handful of artists who claim more than one top 10 hit on the Hot Rock & Alternative Songs chart this week. Newcomer Sombr sits at Nos. 3 and 4 with "Undressed" and "Back to Friends," respectively, which are both at their all-time highs. Osbourne appears at Nos. 6, 7, 8, and 9 with "Crazy Train," "Mama, I'm Coming Home," "Paranoid," and "No More Tears," respectively.

Ozzy Osbourne's Greatest Hits Rocks To New Peaks, Weeks After His Passing
Ozzy Osbourne sees 10 different songs under his own name reach the charts this week as Americans mourn his death. That sum doesn't include any Black Sabbath titles, and those cuts make his chart takeover even more impressive. The focus for many listeners and longtime fans is on individual tunes, as just one full-length by the late superstar appears on the charts. In some cases, that project is still leading the charge after surging in the wake of the sad news, and on several tallies it even reaches a never-before-seen peak. The Essential Ozzy Osbourne Leads Posthumous Resurgence The Essential Ozzy Osbourne is the collection that most Americans have turned to as they revisit the singer-songwriter's catalog. It's common for compilations to become the focus of sales and streaming activity after a major musician dies, but what's notable here is that both Osbourne and Black Sabbath experienced massive weeks on the charts last period — and yet, this time around, The Essential Ozzy Osbourne still climbs. The Essential Ozzy Osbourne Reaches New Streaming and Sales Highs In just its second week ever on the nation's main streaming albums list, the Top Streaming Albums chart, The Essential Ozzy Osbourne jumps from No. 9, where it debuted, to No. 8. The title also soars to a new best on the Top Album Sales ranking. On that tally, the compilation was at No. 30 a week ago and is now up to No. 19, establishing a new best showing as it ascends. Ozzy Osbourne's Compilation Holds No. 1 At the same time that The Essential Ozzy Osbourne climbs to new high points on those two tallies, the compilation is also ruling several other rankings. Osbourne's most popular hits-packed set continues to rule the Top Rock & Alternative Albums, Top Rock Albums, and Top Hard Rock Albums charts. The Essential Ozzy Osbourne Slips Slightly The Essential Ozzy Osbourne only falls on one of the six tallies where it's currently found. On the all-genre Billboard 200, the compilation slips from No. 7 to No. 10. Last week, Osbourne earned a new posthumous top 10 as the set entered the highest tier for the first time. Classic Ozzy Osbourne Songs Reach New Peaks Of Osbourne's 10 solo cuts that appear on at least one chart apiece this week, half reach a new peak on at least one list. That doesn't include another two that debut, automatically setting career bests as they start. It's a big week for Osbourne's music all around the world, one which highlights how beloved he still is to this day, even after his death. 'Crazy Train,' 'Mama, I'm Coming Home,' and 'No More Tears' Osbourne's final chart surge is proving to be one of his biggest. Following his death at age 76, songs like 'Crazy Train,' 'Mama, I'm Coming Home,' and 'No More Tears' in particular have surged in streams, with several climbing into the top 10 of genre-specific rankings for the first time.
