, recently expressed her excitement about War 2, set to release on Independence Day this year.
Taking to Instagram Stories, she shared a list of personal milestones the film marks for her — including her first YRF project, first action role, first time working with director Ayan Mukerji and co-stars Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR, and notably, her first-ever bikini shot on screen.
Hrithik Roshan reprises his role as RAW agent Kabir Dhaliwal in War 2, directed by Ayan Mukerji. Opposite him, Kiara Advani plays the female lead, while Jr. NTR steps into Bollywood as a mysterious antagonist.
Slated for a global release on August 14, 2025, the film will set the stage for upcoming YRF Spy Universe titles, including Pathaan 2 starring Shah Rukh Khan and Alpha featuring Alia Bhatt and Sharvari Wagh.

Fans celebrate, dance their hearts out as Rajinikanths film Coolie hits theatres
Chennai (Tamil Nadu) [India], August 14 (ANI): The much-awaited Rajinikanth starrer 'Coolie' hit theatres on Thursday, and fans across India are celebrating the release like a festival. In Chennai's Egmore, huge crowds gathered outside theatres for the first-day, first-show. The area was filled with posters, banners, and giant cutouts of the superstar. Fans in Madurai danced to drumbeats, showered flower petals, and celebrated with joy outside cinemas to watch the film. In Tiruchirappalli, women were seen carrying flowers while men danced to drumbeats to celebrate the release of 'Thalaiva's' much-awaited film. The excitement was not just limited to Tamil Nadu. In Mumbai, similar scenes were seen as fans gathered outside theatres wearing Coolie-themed t-shirts, dancing, and cheering for the film. Children also joined in the celebrations. Fans in Hyderabad thronged outside a theatre on Thursday morning, placed posters of their favourites, Rajinikanth and Nagarjuna. The film has officially received an A (Adults Only) certificate from the censor board. This marks the superstar's first A-rated film in many years, hinting that the film will be packed with intense and unfiltered action. One major highlight of the much-awaited film is the reunion of Thalaiva and actor Aamir Khan after nearly three decades. The two last worked together in the 1995 film Aatank Hi Aatank. New Delhi: Kaun Banega Crorepati returned for its 17th season on August 11. The quiz-based reality show marks the return of quiz master, film veteran Amitabh Bachchan. In the third episode, it was 21-year-old contestant Kashish Singhal who grabbed the hot seat. Kashish Singhal was the first participant who attempted a Rs 1 crore question but unfortunately she failed to answer that. The Rs 1 crore question asked by Big B was, "Which king of the Visigoths demanded pepper, which ancient Rome usually traded from India, as ransom to lift a siege on the city?". The options were – A) Ludovic, B) Aymeric, C) Alaric and D) Theodoric. Kashish Singal, who successfully passed all the previous rounds, got stuck in the question. With one lifeline left she used the 'Sanket Suchak' (Hint-Giver). However, the 21-year-old was unsure about the correct answer and decided to quit, taking home Rs 50 lakhs. The correct answer was Option C – Alaric. For context, king of the Visigoths, Alaric I famously demanded a ransom during his siege of Rome in 408 CE. The items included gold, silver, silk, hides — and 3,000 pounds of pepper. Pepper, a luxury ingredient in ancient Rome, was mostly imported from India through long-distance trade routes, underscoring its value as a mark of wealth. During a conversation with the host Kahish Singhal expressed her love for Mathematics. The 21-year-old also revealed that she was preparing for defense courses ever since she passed her 12th class. She planned on paying a loan of Rs 15 lakhs with the money. Kaun Banega Crorepati is set to welcome three female members from the Indian Armed Forces for a special Independence Day episode. In the promo video, Amitabh Bachchan was seen welcoming Colonel Sofiya Qureshi of the Indian Army, Wing Commander Vyomika Singh of the Indian Air Force and Commander Prerna Deosthalee of the Indian Navy, who played a major role during the media briefings on Operation Sindoor.
