Authorities determined that three of the men were of African descent with the fourth being of North African descent - their bodies have been taken away and will undergo an autopsy
Four bodies were found floating in a famous river with police admitting "there's a lot of questions."

A witness alerted authorities after spotting a body floating in the Seine near Choisy-le-Roi, a Paris suburb, on Wednesday, August 13 local news outlets reported. It was later found there were four bodies in the stretch of river.

A police source told French media a body was found submerged before a second body was spotted floating at the edge of the quay. Another two bodies, one stuck in branches and a fourth drifting in the currents, were located.

All bodies that were recovered were found to be men. Three were found fully clothed while another was partially clothed.
Three of the men were of African descent and a fourth was of North African descent and are believed to have been in the river for numerous days. Their bodies were later taken in order for autopsies to be carried out.
A police source told BFMTV: "We're not used to this kind of incident. It's an act that raises a lot of questions. Was it criminal? Were these people drunk and didn't survive the heatwave? Did they go swimming or drown?"
Should no link be established, it would be due to the flow of the river that could explain why they all appeared at the same location. The mayor's chief of staff Bertrand Guillerm said the bodies could have drifted under during a high flow.
Choisy police have been tasked with solving the case. It comes after bodies were recovered from the sea at popular beaches in England.
A man in his 30s died after he was pulled from a beach in Skegness just days after a woman died at the same resort. Emergency services raced to the beach in Skegness, Lincolnshire, at about 6pm on Tuesday after the HM Coastguard said he had been rescued from the sea. Lincolnshire Police later said the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Attempt to smuggle alcoholic drinks thwarted by customs at Misrata Free Zone

Libya's Customs Authority reported last Sunday (10 August) that the Misrata Free Zone Customs Centre successfully prevented the smuggling of a large container (45 feet) containing undeclared goods. This came after the local company representative failed to provide customs declaration documents, requesting only re-exportation. The container, originating from Europe and passing through several Arab ports, was headed to an African country. A thorough inspection revealed 3,100 cartons of prohibited alcoholic beverages (330 ml cans, 5% alcohol). The beer was the Heineken brand. The Public Prosecution Office was promptly notified and has taken legal action. The Libyan Customs Authority commended ''the vigilance and dedication of its staff, urging continued patriotic efforts to safeguard national security and resources''. Libya permits the import and sale of zero percent beer brands from all over the world. However, alcoholic drinks, unlike neighbouring Tunisia or Egypt, for example, are still strictly prohibited – officially at least.

The facility, run by Europa-park, is located in Rust, Baden-Württemberg, near the French border. German police said the sick attack took place on Saturday, August 9, L'Alsace reported. After sexually abusing her, the suspect reportedly left her alone in the woods. She was then found by a local passerby around 10pm the same day. The area she was discovered in was about 5km from the water park, and she was only wearing a swimsuit. The suspect is reportedly a 31-year-old Romanian national. He was living in the local region at the time of the attack, reports say. Cops are desperately continuing their manhunt for the suspect. And they put out an appeal for any information that may lead to his arrest. I was sexually assaulted hundreds of feet in air while on paraglide ride during Tunisia holiday… I felt violated and dirty Police said: "Anyone present in Rulantica or in the wooded area north of the park on Saturday between 8:20 p.m. and 10:20 p.m. who may have noticed the presence of the man and the girl should contact the German authorities." The beloved Rulantica water park can hold a maximum of 6,000 visitors per day. It comes after there were reportedly hundreds of reports of sexual assaults in public swimming pools in Germany - in what has been called an epidemic. In one of the worst hit regions, 74 alleged attacks have been recorded recently with several involving children - including eight young girls in one day. The issue started to raise questions across Germany after a concerning number of reports were made in June. Cops arrested four Syrian suspects, aged 18 to 28, the next month and accused them of sexually assaulting up to eight girls in a public swimming pool in Hesse. The victims were aged between 11 to 16 and had all been at the Barbarossabad pool on the same day. Criminal charges were filed against all of the suspects, who were also been banned from the pool following the harrowing incident.
