Take a look here:
Last Film:
Divya Khossla was last seen in Savi. Made under the direction of Abhinay Deo. The cast of the film included Divya Khosla Kumar in the titular role, along with Anil Kapoor and Harshvardhan Rane. It was produced by Mukesh Bhatt, Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar under the banners of Vishesh Films and T-Series Films. Composers like Vishal Mishra, Javed-Mohsin, Piyush Shanker and Arkadeep Karmakar. The cinematographer was Chinmay Salaskar and Shaan Mohammad served as the editor.
Divya Khossla's Controversy:
In 2024, Divya Khossla Kumar sparked a major online controversy after hinting that the Alia Bhatt-starrer Jigra has been struggling to draw audiences to its screenings. The seasoned actor and director, with over a decade of experience in the industry, voiced her support for Kangana Ranaut after the censor board delayed the release of Emergency. She previously also backed the actress during the heated debates on nepotism that took the industry by storm.
An old video resurfacing on social media shows Divya Khossla Kumar firmly standing in support of Kangana Ranaut during a press interaction. In the clip, a journalist asks her about the ongoing debates around nepotism and Kangana's position in Bollywood. Without hesitation, Divya replies, 'I think I support her." When further questioned about the mockery Kangana has faced despite her successful career, Divya strongly condemned it, saying, 'I feel it was very, very wrong. When a woman rises on her own merit, mocking her, especially by multiple men, highlights gender inequality. I don't support it."
She has targeted Alia Bhatt and many times questioned her film. The tension between the two actresses isn't new. Divya had previously addressed the media, acknowledging the perceived similarities between Savi and Jigra. Both films revolve around a jailbreak plot, though Divya maintains that each movie has its own distinct path. Speaking to IANS, Divya had commented, 'Yes, I too have been getting this question a lot from the media, the industry, and the trade that Savi and Jigra are seeming very similar… our film was based on jailbreak—how a simple housewife attempts a jailbreak to get her husband out of prison. And even though Jigra may be similar, I feel every film has its own journey to it."

Ram Gopal Varma slams stray dog shelter verdict, questions ‘selective sympathy' of animal lovers

Mumbai, Aug 16 (IANS) Ever since the Supreme Court's verdict to put all the stray dogs in the Delhi-NCR region into shelters, many Bollywood celebs have condemned the decision, saying that this is not the correct way to tackle the situation. 1 2 Ever since the Supreme Court 's verdict to put all the stray dogs in the Delhi-NCR region into shelters, many Bollywood celebs have condemned the decision, saying that this is not the correct way to tackle the situation. Now, filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma has something to say to all those animal lovers. The 'Sarkar' maker said that while people are being bitten and killed by stray dogs, the dog lovers are busy tweeting about dog rights. He added that while there is no harm in loving your pets within the house, it is insensitive to preach compassion to the victims of stray dogs and their loved ones. The director also pointed out: "Rich people pet Hi breeds. Poor people get mauled and killed by strays. That's the class divide dog lovers don't talk about." The 'Rangeela' maker asked a pertinent question to all the animal lovers out there, saying, "If a man kills, he's a murderer. If a dog kills, you call it an "accident." So does that mean people killing like animals can also be called an accident?" Varma said that people nowadays are practicing selective sympathy as they weep for dogs, but not for people who lose their loved ones because of these dogs. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Benefits of Trading Bitcoin CFDs IC Markets Learn More Undo The 'Shool' director stated that instead of saying "don't kill strays," the dog lovers should adopt all the street dogs. Varma further asked the reason for not doing so - "They are low-bred, dirty, disease-oriented, or you don't want to endanger your loved ones?" He shared that compassion without justice is not compassion but cruelty wrapped in self-righteousness. The filmmaker added that stray dogs do not attack inside gated communities; they attack in places without gates. Bashing the pet parents some more, he even advised them to create hashtags for mothers who watch their child being bitten to death by the stray dogs. Varma concluded by saying that while all animals have a right to live, it should not be at the expense of other human lives. Vivek Agnihotri's 'Bengal Files' Kolkata Trailer Cancelled, He Says...
New Delhi: Director Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri, who is gearing up for his upcoming directorial 'The Bengal Files', hit a roadblock on Saturday in Kolkata. The special screening of the film at a theatre in Kolkata was halted after the venue for the trailer launch of the film was cancelled. Just landed in Kolkata and learnt that the venue for the trailer launch of #TheBengalFiles is cancelled. Who wants to suppress our voice? And why? But I can't be silenced. Because truth can't be silenced. ट्रेलर तो कोलकाता में ही लांच होगा। Pl share this video and support… — Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri (@vivekagnihotri) August 15, 2025 Vivek spoke with IANS exclusively with regards to 'The Bengal Files' and the issues raised in the release of this movie. He said that he was informed by the organisers that they had to cancel the screening owing to the political pressure in the state. He told IANS, "Organizers told me that they can't show it because of political pressure. Then we talked to another multiplex chain. They also told us that there is a lot of political pressure and we will get stuck in a lot of trouble. And that's why we can't show it either. So when we didn't have any option left, where would we go? What would we do? What could be more saddening for a filmmaker than not being able to show his film in a theatre? The thing for which it was made. If someone writes a book and it is not shown in a bookshop, then we don't have any option". August 16, 2025 marks 79 years of the Direct Action Day, when the All-India Muslim League decided to take a "direct action" using general strikes and economic shutdown to demand a separate Muslim homeland after the British exit from India. Vivek further mentioned, "But my name is Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri and I am not one of the losers. So I said, 'No problem, we will do it in a banquet hall'. This is my first time to launch the trailer of a film in a banquet hall like this. Our entire team had come here, after that it got cancelled. I don't know what they are afraid of. Why do they want to stop this film? Why do they want to suppress my voice? And a film which has got a CBFC certificate, which has been shown in 12 cities in America, that film is about Bengal". He said that in fact, the government of Bengal should have called him and told him to do it there because this film is about the people of Kolkata, who suffered on the Direct Action Day. "I don't know what they are afraid of. What is in their mind is that they want to suppress our voice. But I will not let this happen", he shared. First the screening was stopped in a multiplex theatre in Kolkata, then an attempt was made to stop the screening of the film in a private hotel in Kolkata. On this Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri said that the most powerful person in the state is obstructing this. The program was stopped while it was going on, the wire was cut. "If this is not dictatorship, then what is it called?", he added.
