The announced card is as follows:
Hangman Adam Page & JetSpeed (Kevin Knight and Speedball Mike Bailey) vs LFI (RUSH, Dralístico and The Beast Mortos)
TNT Championship: Kyle Fletcher (c) vs. Tomohiro Ishii
Queen Aminata, Tay Melo & Willow Nightingale vs The Triangle of Madness (Skye Blue, Julia Hart and Thekla)
Max Caster issues open challenge
AEW Collision Results:
TNT Championship: Kyle Fletcher (c) vs. Tomohiro Ishii
Kyle Fletcher and Ishii put on an absolutely awesome match to kick things off. In the end though, it was Fletcher who would walk out on top. He retained his title after hitting a big kick and a brainbuster.
Winner – Kyle Fletcher
After the match, Fletcher took to the mic and made it clear he plans on defending his title at Forbidden Door.
Grade: A-
A really stellar opening match. Tons of fun, and both superstars were going all out when you might not expect them to.
A video plays of footage from earlier in the day, where Ricochet is dropping a promo while Toa Liona and Bishop Kaun beat up guys in the background. Ricochet says that if they don't get the respect they deserve, they'll take it.
Megan Bayne makes short work of opponent
Megan Bayne vs. Emily Rose
Bayne wins this one in maybe under two minutes. She dominated the whole match then won with a running powerbomb.
Winner – Megan Bayne
Grade: C-
A whole lotta nothing here. Bayne continues to be fun to watch, but not in squash matches.
Backstage, Big Bill and Bryan Keith are being interviewed. Bill is not happy with Juice Robinson, and says that the next time he sees Juice, he's gonna get exactly what's coming to him.
Ricochet Goes Up Against Juice Robinson
Ricochet vs. Juice Robinson
Ricochet gets a win thanks in part to Big Bill, who had just promised to make his presence known. Bill comes down to the ring and hits Juice with a big boot, and Ricochet does the rest to get the win.
Winner – Ricochet
Grade: B+
Not a bad match in and of itself, but much more fun for the inevitable Big Bill, Bryan Keith, and the Bang Bang Gang rivalry that's coming.
Trios Action Up Next
Stokely Hathaway & FTR vs. Joe Keys, Ryan Zukko & Josh Fuller
Fans really wanted Stokely Hathaway to get involved in this one. He got some action for a moment, but didn't do a ton. In the end, FTR did a lot of the work, then tagged in Hathaway and the three hit a spike piledriver on Zukko. FTR then let Hathaway pin Zukko for the win.
Winner – Stokely Hathaway & FTR
After the match, Hathaway then stood up and on top of Zukko. The trio jumped up and celebrated with one another by doing various jumps, but Hathaway quickly began 'needing' his crutch when it was time to leave.
Grade: C+
A funny match thanks to Stokely's antics, but not a whole lot else to do here for anyone else involved.
Singles Action Featuring AR Fox and Hechicero
Hechicero vs. AR Fox
With members of Shane Taylor Promotions watching on from backstage, Hechicero came out on top here. Fox looked ready to win, but a late 450 splash attempt backfired when Hechicero avoided it. He then got a big hit onto Fox, and locked in a submission hold to force Fox to tap.
Winner – Hechicero
Grade: B+
A fun match, all things considered. Fox and Hechicero put on a show, with some awesome move attempts here.
A vignette plays showing Harley Cameron watching footage of Megan Bayne dropping her face first onto the steps. Her face is wrapped up, and in the video, she goes into her closet and grabs a face shield. After putting it on, she goes crazy, and a cut in the video then shows her in her ring gear.
Willow Nightingale, Queen Aminata, and more take to the ring
Willow Nightingale, Queen Aminata, and Tay Melo vs. Triangle of Madness (Thekla, Julia Hart, and Skye Blue)
This was another relatively quick match. Willow got in some moves, Thekla did her awesome spider walking moves around the ring, and things ended after chaos ensued. Hart hit a superkick on Tay Melo, who was setting up a Gory Special on Blue. Hart then helped Blue hit a dual move on Melo for the win.
Winner – Triangle of Madness
Grade: B
The new heel group getting a win was fun to see, and they're a great group together. Can't wait to see more of them going forward.
Backstage, Stokley Hathaway and FTR are talking about their win tonight. Hathaway pins the blame on his change on Adam Copeland, and says he'll make him pay one day. FTR says Hathaway should focus on more important things, and briefly mentioned The Hurt Syndicate, hinting at some possible future feuds.
It's Time for Another Max Caster Open Challenge
It's that time of the week yet again. Caster comes down to the ring and credits Rush with being the first person to make it five minutes against him. After leading the fans in another chant, Caster opened up his challenge, and it was none other than Katsuyori Shibata who answered the call.
Max Caster vs. Katsuyori Shibata
Unsurprisingly, another superstar was able to win the Max Caster Open Challenge. Shibata dominated things and then hit a PK for the win in just over two minutes.
Winner – Katsuyori Shibata
After the match, Shibata offered a handshake to Caster, and then hugged and pointed at him in a nice moment. LFI then runs out, attacking both Shibata and Caster. JetSpeed follows them out, and the group chases off LFI.
Grade: C+
The Max Caster Open Challenge is a funny weekly staple, but boy, does it result in a bunch of matches that don't amount to much. The LFI angle at the end was a nice touch, though.
More Trios Action In The Main Event
Hangman Adam Page & JetSpeed (Kevin Knight and Speedball Mike Bailey) vs LFI (RUSH, Dralístico and The Beast Mortos)
Wrestling in front of his home state, Page and JetSpeed put on a show. They were able to walk out on top after Knight and Bailey hit a big dropkick on Dralistico, followed up by a dive onto Rush and Mortos on the floor. Back in the ring, Page then hit the Buckshot Lariat on Dralistico, and that was more than enough for the win.
Winner – Hangman Adam Page & JetSpeed
Grade: B+
A really fun close to a solid episode of Collision. Page was getting a ton of love throughout the match from his home crowd, and JetSpeed continue to look like one of the best tag teams in the business.
AEW Collision Review:
All in all, this was a pretty solid show. We got some great development for future feuds, some funny moments, and a nice Hangman Page appearance to close out the show.

NFL preseason live updates: Caleb Williams debuts under head coach Ben Johnson, Tyler Shough starts for Saints
[NFL preseason schedule | NFL team feeds | NFL preseason live blog] The second week of NFL preseason action is in full swing, and there are plenty of storylines to follow. Caleb Williams is starting for the Bears on national television Sunday night vs. the Bills, our first glimpse of the 2024 No. 1 overall draft pick under new head coach Ben Johnson. That game headlines Frank Schwab's top QB situations to watch this week. Later, Tyler Shough gets the start for the Saints as he competes with Spencer Rattler and Jake Haener for QB1 in New Orleans. He threw for 165 yards on 15-of-22 passing in the Saints' preseason opener. [Join or create a Yahoo Fantasy Football league for the 2025 NFL season] On Saturday, Giants rookie Jaxson Dart put up another impressive preseason performance coming off his gem last week against the Bills. On Saturday against the Jets, he completed 14 of 16 passes for 137 yards and a touchdown to go along with a TD run. Could starting QB Russell Wilson be hearing footsteps? Rookie Dillon Gabriel saw his first action of preseason Saturday, and it was an up-and-down day for the third-round pick. He finished 13-of-18 for 143 yards passing but also turned it over twice. He thew a pick 6 and also lost a fumble on a botched handoff exchange. He was otherwise solid and in control in the passing game. Fellow rookie QB Shedeur Sanders sat out due to an oblique injury. Much will be made in the coming days, especially on the talking heads shows, about his in-game comments of the QB competition he's in with Sanders. Gabriel later clarified he was referring to the media, not Sanders. Elsewhere in the QB world, the Colts battle for the starting job continues to heat up, with Daniel Jones ending up 7 of 11 passes for 101 yards while Anthony Richardson competed 6 of 11 passes for 73 yards. Those two appear to be neck-and-neck for the starting job, and head coach Shane Steichen told reporters he plans to decide the starter "very soon." The Tigers optioned Hanifee to the Mud Hens on Aug. 2, creating space on the roster for three new pitchers acquired at the July 31 trade deadline. By rule, Hanifee had to stay at the Triple-A level for 15 days. WHY DID HE LEAVE? Why Tigers' bullpen move backfired in puzzling Scott Harris roster decision The Tigers recalled Hanifee before the finale of a four-game series Sunday, Aug. 17, against the Minnesota Twins at Target Field.
