The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 3 Episodes 1–2 out now: Quick recap of Belly–Conrad–Jeremiah complex love triangle
The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 3 episodes 1-2 out now!
The wait for The Summer I Turned Pretty is over. The first two episodes of the final part are now streaming on Prime Video. After that, the streamer will release one episode a week, giving us all just enough time to process the mess before the next emotional cliffhanger hits.
The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 2 recap
Aired in the summer of 2023, the second season packed a heavy punch. Susannah's death cast a huge shadow over everyone. Conrad shut down emotionally (classic), Jeremiah tried to stay strong but was clearly falling apart, and Belly was stuck in a grief spiral, finding it difficult to pick herself up after her breakup with Conrad.
Things took a sharp turn when the Cousins Beach house was at risk of being sold by Julia, Conrad and Jeremiah's estranged aunt. The gang, including Steven, Taylor, and a surprisingly helpful Skye, banded together to fight for the house, reminding us all why Cousins is more than just a beach. Meanwhile, Steven and Taylor finally gave in to their chemistry, Laurel worked through her own grief while reconnecting with her writing career, and Belly slowly started to rediscover herself outside of the Fisher brothers.
But let's be honest, most of us were watching with one eye on the Conrad–Belly–Jeremiah triangle. After their mother's death, Conrad was his usual hot-and-cold self with Belly, while Jeremiah stayed consistent, even though he was clearly hurting too. As Belly tried to sort through her feelings, she quietly hoped Conrad might come around but in the end, Season 2 closed with her choosing Jeremiah.
Yes, Belly and Jeremiah kissed and started their sweet, innocent kind of love, but let's not pretend the Conrad chapter is closed. After all, he was introduced with Taylor Swift's Lover playing in the background. That has to mean something, right?
Prime Video says, Love the show; don't attack the cast
With the final season about to premiere, Prime Video is asking fans to chill out, respectfully. In a post ahead of Season 3's launch, the streamer reminded viewers to keep their passion for the show from turning into hate toward the real people behind the characters. The TSITP cast has been on the receiving end of some nasty comments, especially after Season 2's emotional ending split fans right down the middle.
As the fandom gears up for what's bound to be a very emotional goodbye, Prime Video wants the drama to stay on screen not in people's mentions.
