: Significance
Navratri is regarded as the most sacred when you can worship Maa Durga day and night.
During the period of Navratri, Maa Durga is worshipped for nine days and nine nights. Devotees pray to Durga Mata and seek for the Goddess' blessings during these days. Gupt Navratri falls twice a year during Magha and Ashadha Month, but Navratri happens four times a year. Nine manifestations of Mahavidhya are worshipped during Gupt Navratri.
Although Gupt Navratri is not very well-known, it is the most potent time of year for those individuals, who want and practice Mantra and Tantra Sadhana and this time period is considered as an extremely powerful period to invoke Goddess Durga.

Wake up early in the morning and clean your home especially your puja room. Take bath after cleaning is done, then take a wooden plank and place an idol of Goddess Durga there. Adorn the Goddess with shringar items such as chunni, sindoor, bangles, haldi, mehendi etc.
Take a kalash, fill it with water and place a coconut on that and do Ghatsthapna by chanting various vedic mantras. Light a diya with desi cow ghee, light incense sticks, offer hibiscus flower garland, fruits and sweets.
Devotees must recite Durga Saptashati Paath to appease Maa Durga and if they are unable to do so then they must recite Kavach Argala Keelak for protection and chant different mantras dedicated to the Goddess 108 times. In the evening, devotees can break their fast after performing aarti to Maa Durga.

Owner of Cuttack's iconic Raghu Dahibara passes away at 94, leaving behind a legacy of deliciousness
Raghunath Sasmal, affectionately known as Raghu Dahibara, a pioneer of the beloved Dahi bara-Aloo Dum in Cuttack, passed away at 94. Starting his business in 1950, he transformed the dish into an iconic Odisha street food. That simple act showed he was not just a vendor but a custodian of his city's soul. Court orders airline to pay Rs 50,000 compensation to passengers for flight delay and not providing refreshments
The District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, southwest Delhi, has held Alliance Air Aviation responsible for deficiency in service after a six-hour delay in the departure of its flight. The delay, which caused mental distress to passengers, led the commission to order the airline to pay Rs 50,000 as compensation for mental harassment, agony, and litigation expenses, a TOI report stated. Long Flight Delay The order, passed last month by commission president Suresh Kumar Gupta and member Harshali Kaur, came in response to a complaint by two passengers, Mainawati Devi and Shakuntala Devi. They were scheduled to travel from New Delhi to Gorakhpur on June 5, 2022, at 11.30 am to attend a religious ceremony. The complainants reached the airport at 8 am, completed all formalities by 9.30 am, and were ready to board at 10.45 am. However, their flight departed only at 5.30 pm. No AC, Refreshments According to the complainants, the air-conditioning system was not working, and no refreshments or water were served. At 1 pm, the aircraft was pushed back but was then brought back to the bay, after which passengers were asked to de-board. Alliance Air, in its reply on June 17, declined compensation. The complainants then filed a case before the district commission seeking relief. Commission's observation The bench observed that the aircraft should have been fit for operation once boarding had started, and any technical issue should have been identified beforehand. It further stated that the delay was not caused by weather conditions or air traffic clearance.
