As part of this shift, Triple H has reportedly set up
Gunther
to claim the title from Uso at the June 9 Raw taping, ensuring Goldberg challenges directly for the championship rather than appearing in a non-title bout.
Best of Goldberg: Full Match Marathon
Dave Meltzer specifically wrote the following about WWE: 'It was confirmed to us the reason this happened is because Paul Levesque made the call to make Gunther vs. Bill Goldberg on 7/12's Saturday Night's Main Event a title match, likely since it was going on the same day as All In Texas.'
He further added, 'Gunther vs. Goldberg was always going to be the retirement match, and it was always going against All in Texas and on NBC, with the idea of maximizing that day with the big match not on Netflix but on free network TV.'
Previously, Goldberg was set to appear on the June 9, 2025, edition of WWE RAW, which emanated live from Atlanta. However, the match was not scheduled despite reports of his appearance.

Salman Khan once took a fun dig at Kareena Kapoor for giving hit films with Ajay Devgn: ‘Why did you give me 2 flops?'
Superstar Salman Khan is known for his fun and cheeky personality, especially when it comes to his close friends and co-stars. One such moment took place when he teased Kareena Kapoor Khan during an episode of his popular show ' Bigg Boss 4'. Kareena had appeared on the show with her 'Golmaal 3' co-stars to promote the film. While chatting with her on stage, Salman asked Kareena if she had worked with her 'Golmaal 3' co-star Ajay Devgn before. Kareena quickly named their films 'Golmaal Returns' and 'Omkara'. Salman noted that both these films were huge box office hits and also appreciated by critics. He then pulled her leg by saying, 'Waah 2 hit, toh mujhe 2 flop kyun diye aapne?' ('Wow 2 hits, then why did you give me 2 flops?') This funny moment left everyone on set laughing. Flops with Salman, Hits with Ajay Salman was referring to the two films he had done with Kareena before—'Kyon Ki…' (2005) and 'Mr And Mrs Khanna' (2009). Sadly, both movies didn't do well at the box office and were considered flops. On the other hand, Kareena had a strong hit record with Ajay Devgn. Both 'Golmaal Returns' and 'Omkara' had done very well. So Salman's joke made perfect sense and added to the light-hearted mood of the show. Kareena manifested a hit After the joke, Kareena didn't take it to heart. In fact, she smiled and wished that she and Salman would work in a hit film together. She seemed hopeful that their next movie would be a success—and as it turned out, her wish came true not once, but twice!
