Scheduled for June 28, 2025,
UFC
317
will headline the UFC International Fight Week, which will start on June 25 and continue through June 29, 2025. However, much to the
fans
' dismay, the
headline bout
of UFC 317 has not been announced yet. Over the past few months, there have been too many speculations amongst the fans stemming from the results of the past UFC events. The rumors of Jon Jones vs. Tom Aspinall, Islam Makhachev vs. Ilia Topuria and others have provided the promotion with enough options to announce the headline bout. But it seems like the
UFC boss, Dana White
, is taking his own sweet time to weigh in on these options.
The UFC 317 will headline the International Fight Week, fighters eye for the open cards throughout the event
The MMA community has seen so many transitions and debates, and wars of words between fighters in recent times. Nonetheless, such back-and-forths are quite common amongst the athletes of these combat sports. Ilia Topuria vacated his title and moved up to the lightweight division, where Islam Makhachev is currently the title holder. Even though Topuria called out Makhachev several times, the latter and his team turned down the proposal, stating that they wanted Topuria to have a lightweight bout first, prove himself and then secure a title run. Topuria, on the other hand, is quite adamant about fighting Makhachev alone and no one else. Meanwhile, there were also rumors of Makhachev moving up to the welterweight division to secure a two-division championship.
Amidst all this, the fighters recently, through different approaches, announced their training camp, which has now left fans wondering who the fighter would be facing next. With the training camp having started already, many fans have started believing that it is UFC 317 itself that the fighters are training for.

However, there is another speculated fight that has garnered a huge reaction within the combat sports community - a title unification bout between Jon Jones and Tom Aspinall. Despite all the rumors, nothing has been confirmed as of yet. With UFC 318 already featuring a headline bout, which has been scheduled for July 20, 2025, fans are growing restless over the vacant main card of UFC 317, an event less than two months away.
Fans have started reacting and putting out their own interpretation of the reason behind the delay. One of them wrote, 'he[Dana]'s obv waiting until 315 result. if jdm wins, islam moves up and charles vs ilia vacant belt. if belal wins, islam stays vs ilia'
Another one wrote, 'The main event is being announced at UFC Montreal post fight presser.'
'I'm tired of the fat bald f**k, make something happen @danawhite stop being p**sy'

'I denounce my celebrity-ness': Shaquille O'Neal bluntly destroys fame culture with unfiltered take on ego, money, and status
Image via David L. Nemec /Getty Images Shaquille O'Neal has never fit into a box, and he's making sure no one tries to put him in one now. The four-time NBA champion and longtime Inside the NBA mainstay has made it clear he wants nothing to do with the 'celebrity' tag, even as his post-playing career has made him one of the most recognizable figures in sports media. As the beloved TNT show closes a defining chapter, O'Neal is now gearing up for a new era—one he says won't pull any punches. Shaquille O'Neal turns down the celebrity label to stay true to his roots Shaquille O'Neal has built an empire through dominance, charisma, and candor but don't call him a celebrity. In a statement originally made during a 2021 interview with the New York Post, O'Neal didn't mince words when rejecting the label that's often attached to athletes of his stature. 'These celebrities are going freaking crazy and I don't want to be one. I denounce my celebrity-ness today. I'm done with it,' he declared. Shaq explained his position further, calling out what he sees as detachment and ego among those in the public eye. 'I don't want to be in that category. Celebrities are crazy, they really are. Don't call me that anymore,' he said. 'These people are out of their freaking mind with how they treat people, what they do, what they say. That's never been me.' For the Hall of Famer, humility has always been the foundation. 'I came from nothing. Just because I made it doesn't mean I'm bigger than you or smarter than you… just because I have more money doesn't mean I'm better than you. I've never been that way and I never will be.' As Inside the NBA ends, Shaquille O'Neal sets his sights on the next takeover As TNT's era with the NBA comes to a close, so does a legendary run for Inside the NBA, a show as beloved for its basketball analysis as its chemistry and chaos. Shaq, who was part of the on-air team with Ernie Johnson , Kenny Smith , and Charles Barkley , made it clear that wherever they go next, they're coming in with force. 'To that new network we're coming to—we ain't coming to F*** around,' Shaq declared on air. 'We're kicking a**, we're taking names, and we're taking over.' While ESPN prepares to welcome the iconic crew, O'Neal's words are a warning and a promise. 'I love you guys and I appreciate you guys, but hey we're coming to take over that next network, too.' Longtime host Ernie Johnson shared heartfelt reflections on the team's journey: 'If I had written the script, the NBA and TNT would have been together forever… Gratitude is the operative word for me.' Kelce, currently at a charity event, publicly supported Swift's achievement. A "TNT" keepsake and master recordings mark a powerful new chapter Taylor Swift marked a significant career win: purchasing her master recordings. Out with Selena Gomez, she sported a "TNT" gold and diamond friendship bracelet, a special gift from Travis Kelce, who wears an identical one. On May 31st, Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez enjoyed a girls' night out at Monkey Bar in NYC. Swift wore a sequined black Gucci mini skirt and black tank, with chunky silver platform sandals. Gomez appeared in a tan halter, khaki pants, and metallic pumps, as photos posted by TMZ showed. Swift's recent New York appearance followed her major announcement: she now owned the master recordings for her initial six albums—Taylor Swift, Fearless, Speak Now, Red, 1989, and Reputation. This crucial move grants her absolute authority over her artistic output after a prolonged disagreement. She conveyed her emotions online, stating, "All of the music I've ever made… now belongs… to me. And all my music videos. And all the concert films. The album art and photography. The unreleased songs. The memories. The magic. The madness. Every single era. My entire life's work.' Travis Kelce, at the 2025 Big Slick Weekend charity event in Kansas City, publicly championed Swift's career milestone. He demonstrated his approval by "liking" her Instagram update. His teammate, Patrick Mahomes, and wife Brittany Mahomes, also a friend, helped spread the news, with Brittany remarking, "Just so amazing.' Even though apart for the weekend, Swift and Kelce were often seen together during the NFL off-season, including a romantic Florida trip approved by Donna Kelce. Donna also showed her fondness for Swift by wearing a charm bracelet with the Tortured Poets Department album logo. The romance between Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce began in July 2023 during her Kansas City Eras Tour stop. Kelce, a devoted fan, sought to give her a friendship bracelet, but her rigorous pre-show routine prevented it. "I was disappointed that she doesn't talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings," Travis revealed. "So, I was a little butt-hurt I didn't get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for her. ' Their bond went "Instagram Official" in June 2024 with a selfie including royalty. By September, Swift attended a Chiefs game, then they hit a wedding and the U.S. Open. October saw a double date, concluding 2024 with matching New York City outings. While running errands with their three kids, the Stephens family happened upon an unexpected surprise in the trading card aisle—Edmonton Oilers defenseman Jake Walman, casually browsing like any other shopper. The chance encounter turned magical as Walman not only chatted with the kids about hockey and video games but surprised them with gifts—transforming a regular Friday into something straight out of a feel-good sports movie. He was just waiting and he started up a conversation, just being a nice guy.' Walman, a known Pokémon fan, noticed the kids looking through the hockey cards and asked if they were Oilers supporters.
