Police are appealing for witnesses after a Powys crash which left a person with 'life-changing injuries'
Dyfed-Powys Police have appealed for help from the public regarding a crash which took place on the A483 last week.
The crash, which involved a Ford Ranger and a Renault Captur, saw the road between Llanbister and Llabardarn Fynydd closed for over 11 hours on Thursday (June 12).
Officers confirmed that one person is still in hospital with severe injuries which they described as 'life changing'.
A spokesperson for Dyfed-Powys Police said: 'We are appealing for witnesses who may have information about a two-vehicle road traffic collision on the A483 between Llanbister and Llanbadarn Fynydd, which occurred just before 4.30pm on Thursday, June 12.
'The collision involved a Ford Ranger and Renault Captur.
'One person remains in hospital with potentially life-changing injuries. The road remained closed while the vehicles were recovered and re-opened at approximately 3.40am on Friday, June 13.
'Anyone who may have been travelling along the A483 between Llanbister and Llanbadarn Fynydd, at the time, is asked to contact police. Investigating officers would particularly like to speak to any motorists who were in the area at that time who have dash cam in their vehicles.'

A Dyfed Powys Police appeal said: "Dyfed-Powys Police is appealing for information after the body of a man was found near to the river at New Dock, Llanelli on Sunday, June 15. Officers attended the area after receiving a call at 12.15pm. "The death is not being treated as suspicious at this time but we're carrying out enquiries to establish the circumstances surrounding the death. "We are also aware that images of this incident have been circulating online. We ask that you do not share them out of respect for the man that has sadly died."
