Cassie gives birth to third child days after testifying at P Diddy trial
Cassie Ventura has welcomed her third child with husband Alex Fine not long after testifying at Sean 'Diddy' Combs ' high-profile trial. Cassie shares daughters Frankie, five, and Sunny, four, with her husband Alex, with them announcing they were expecting a son in a post shared in February.
The news has since been announced that Cassie has welcomed her third child, with sources close to the star claiming she gave birth on Tuesday in a New York City hospital. It's understood mother and baby are doing well, despite the tot arriving slightly earlier than planned, TMZ have reported.
The Long Way 2 Go singer had shared professional black-and-white shots of her posing with her family while showing off her baby bump. In one snap, her two daughters kissed her bump while another showed Alex's hands on her belly. She simply captioned the post with a pregnant woman emoji and added the hashtag: "#3". The likes of Karrueche Tran, Lauren London, Vanderpump Rules' Kristen Doute, and Ciara shared their excitement in the comment section at the time.
On May 27, it was revealed she was rushed to a New York hospital after going into labour. A source told TMZ that Cassie was in labour and in the delivery unit, having been around eight months pregnant during her testimony in the trial.
Her ex-partner, Diddy, is facing a number of serious charges - including racketeering, conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion and transportation to engage in prostitution. He denies all allegations against him.
Cassie, who was pregnant with her third child while testifying, took to the stand earlier this month, and made some bombshell claims about the disgraced rapper.
After testifying in the trial, Cassie's lawyer - Doug Wigdor - released a statement on her behalf.
Cassie's statement read: "This week has been extremely challenging, but also remarkably empowering and healing for me.
"For me, the more I heal, the more I can remember. And the more I can remember, the more I will never forget. I want to thank my family and my advocates for their unwavering support, and I'm grateful for all the kindness and encouragement that I have received.
"I'm glad to put this chapter of my life to rest. As I turn to focus on the conclusion of my pregnancy, I ask for privacy for me and for my growing family."

After previously pleading for a pardon from President Donald Trump, former NBA star Sebastian Telfair has reported to a federal prison in New Jersey. Telfair, age 40, will be behind bars at Fort Dix Federal Corrections Institute - a 'low security' institution - for six months after violating the terms of his conditional release. 'I'm mad, I'm mad, I don't wanna be doing no federal time or all that,' Telfair told the outlet. He continued: 'As far as the initial case, I believe this whole federal case is definitely some bulls**t, no disrespect to the system. But this is NBA accounts. This is our own account. 'This is my money that, you know what I'm saying, I tampered with inside of my account. No, I should not end up in federal custody for tampered with our own NBA accounts. 'I feel like we all have been victims under this NBA situation. I earned that money that they said that I took out of my account. I physically worked, and you all watched me earn that money, and I now got to pay it back to the system. 'The money don't go back into my account. It goes back to the system. So that is just mind-blowing to me.' After adding that he's being treated 'super unfairly', Telfair then revealed that he has a three-year-old child at home he needs to take care of. With that in mind, Telfair made a plea to the Oval Office to ask for an intervention in his case. 'I know Donald Trump got some big things going on, Donald Trump might need to come holla and give ya boy a pardon, and so I could stay home with my babies, continue building my community,' Telfair told the outlet. Telfair was drafted 13th overall in the 2004 NBA Draft straight out of Abraham Lincoln High School in Brooklyn, New York and played in the league for over a decade. He made stops with Portland, the Boston Celtics, the Minnesota Timberwolves, the Los Angeles Clippers, the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Phoenix Suns, the Toronto Raptors, and the Oklahoma City Thunder. Danielle Spencer dead: Legendary What's Happening child star dies aged 60
Former child star Danielle Spencer has died aged 60. The death of the actress, who was best known for her role on What's Happening!!, was confirmed by her friend and former co-star Haywood Nelson. Writing an emotional tribute on Instagram, Hawyood, who starred as Dwayne on the sitcom, said: "Dr. Dee, our brilliant, loving, positive, pragmatic warrior, without fail, has finally found her release from the clutches of this world and a body. We celebrate Danielle Spencer and her contributions as we regret to inform her departure and transition from a long battle with cancer. "We have lost a daughter, sister, family member, What's Happening!! cast member, veterinarian, animal rights proponent and healer, and cancer heroine. Our Shero. Danielle is loved. She will be missed in this form and forever embraced." Haywood later told TMZ Danielle died on Monday night in a Richmond, Virginia, hospital with her mum Cheryl and her jazz musician brother Jeremy Pelt by her side.
