The pin positions are out for today's final round, with the second remaining painfully difficult and then the sixth, ninth and 13th leaving little room for error.
The ninth remains the hardest hole on the course this week, averaging closer to a bogey-5 than par-4 over the opening three rounds.

We had a clean run at the third rounds yesterday after the horrendous conditions at the end of Friday, which delayed completion of the opening 36 holes into Saturday.
Thankfully the Pennsylvanian weather held — so today is a free shot at the final 18.
Those will tee off with Australian Cam Davis at 7:52 a.m. ET (12:52 p.m. UK, 4:52 a.m. PT) as a single. It will likely be a lonely day for the man who will start 19-over for his final round.
The final pair of another Australian in Adam Scott (-3), alongside one-shot leader Sam Burns (-4), will get going at 2:15 p.m. ET (7:15 p.m. UK, 11:15 a.m. PT). Getty Images
No other golf course says U.S. Open like Oakmont Country Club, near the Allegheny River in western Pennsylvania.
This is a record 10th time in the history of this championship that Oakmont has played host to the drama.
As for the course itself, it's known for precision-cut greens and treacherously deep rough — and it really has lived up to its reputation during the first 54 holes of this year's major.
For those wondering, 2025 joins 1927, 1935, 1953, 1962, 1973, 1983, 1994, 2007, and most recently in 2016, where Dustin Johnson won his first career major here at Oakmont.
Both the country club and golf course were established in 1903. It sits 1,000 feet above sea level and is a par 70 for U.S. Open tournaments. Getty Images

2 Defensive Rebounders Better Than Chicago Sky's Angel Reese
2 Defensive Rebounders Better Than Chicago Sky's Angel Reese originally appeared on Athlon Sports. The Chicago Sky got their third win of the season on Sunday as they defeated the Connecticut Sun on the road, sparking hope for better days ahead after a rough start to the season. Advertisement The Sky's big victory included a stellar performance from Angel Reese, who recorded the second triple double of the WNBA season in a winning effort in Connecticut. Reese had 11 points, 11 assists and 13 rebounds, showing off her diverse array of passing skills while continuing to dominate on the glass. Recently, the Sky star took issue with fans who began utilizing the phrase "mebound" to describe Reese's tendency to miss her own shot and grab her own rebounds. Reese currently leads the league in offensive rebounds, but remains behind two WNBA stars in the defensive rebounding totals. Advertisement She is now .4 defensive rebounds per game behind A'ja Wilson of the Las Vegas Aces for second place and 1.3 defensive rebounds behind Jonquel Jones of the New York Liberty, who is in first place with 8.4 defensive rebounds per game. Reese's position on the DREB charts is included alongside her league best 4.8 offensive rebounds per game, which places her 1.3 offensive rebounds ahead of second place player Brionna Jones of the Dream. The Sky star leads the league in overall rebounding with 11.9 per game, 1.6 ahead of Jonquel Jones heading toward the meat of the WNBA schedule. Magic Trade for $197 Million Star, Swap Underperforming $66 Million Vet Plus Haul
Magic Trade for $197 Million Star, Swap Underperforming $66 Million Vet Plus Haul originally appeared on Athlon Sports. The Orlando Magic were coming into the offseason thinking of ways they could get better. For the past two seasons, they've made the playoffs but have been eliminated in the first round. Going forward, it's obvious they want things to change. Paolo Banchero and Franz Wagner are the two stars on the team, and they've been doing all they can to lead the Magic to the postseason for two straight years. Advertisement In order to compete in the Eastern Conference, the Magic knew they would have to improve their roster, and if that meant making a trade, then it seemed like they'd be ready to do it. Orlando Magic guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope looks to pass the ball as Memphis Grizzlies guard Desmond Bane Thomas-Imagn Images Well, look no further, because that's what they did on Sunday morning, acquiring Desmond Bane from the Memphis Grizzlies. "BREAKING: The Memphis Grizzlies are trading Desmond Bane to the Orlando Magic for Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Cole Anthony, four unprotected first-round picks and one first-round pick swap, sources tell ESPN," Shams Charania wrote on X, formerly Twitter. The Magic now have another solid starter on the team, as Bane can shoot, defend and make plays for others on the court. Bane averaged 19.2 points, 6.1 rebounds and 5.3 assists in 69 games this season Advertisement For the Grizzlies, they get two key role players that can help them compete in the Western Conference and four draft picks. Bane is still playing on a five-year, $197 million contract, and the Magic did what they had to do to acquire the star. It seemed as if whatever deal they were going to make for somebody, Caldwell-Pope would be involved, as he's making $66 million on his three-year deal. Atlanta Dream Make History on Sunday vs. Washington Mystics
Atlanta Dream Make History on Sunday vs. Washington Mystics originally appeared on Athlon Sports. The Atlanta Dream defeated the Washington Mystics, 89-56, on Sunday. It was a second-half avalanche for the Dream, as they dominated on both ends of the floor, and the Mystics did not have an answer. Allisha Gray led the way for the Dream with a career-high 32 points and rookie Te-Hina Paopao followed with a career-high 16 points. Advertisement The Dream have been clicking as of late, and whether it's on offense or defense, they've been finding different ways to win games. Against the Mystics, they were able to dial in from the perimeter, and they made franchise history on Sunday. Atlanta Dream center Brittney Griner (42) celebrates a play with guard Allisha Gray (15).Rafael Suanes-Imagn Images The Dream finished with 18 3-pointers in the game and after the 17th make, they made franchise history. "The Atlanta Dream have broken franchise history with 17 three-pointers made in a game, with 2:44 mins remaining the the fourth quarter. The WNBA record is 19 set earlier this season," the Dream wrote on X, formerly Twitter. The Dream were hot from behind the arc, as Gray made six of them and Paopao had four for herself. Head coach Karl Smesko had let it be known that space and pace were going to be the philosophy that he lived by and it came to fruition against the Mystics. Advertisement Though the Dream are 8-3, there are still some things they want to improve on as the season progresses, but they are in a good spot and are playing some good basketball. Their next matchup will be a true test of where they stand, as they face the New York Liberty on Tuesday night ET.
