VfB Stuttgart would be open to starting transfer talks over their forward Nick Woltemade if an offer of at least €65 million is on the table, according to the Bild newspaper.
Stuttgart officials have stressed that the club is counting on Woltemade for the upcoming season, but if "something extraordinary" comes up, then "we're all professionals enough to talk about it," chairman of the board Alexander Wehrle recently said.

Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich reportedly have Woltemade on their wish list. But, for now, Stuttgart have "categorically rejected" a meeting with the rivals, Wehrle said.
According to recent media reports, Stuttgart have rejected Bayern's first offer for the player, who has a contract until 2028.
Woltemade, 23, helped Stuttgart win the German Cup last season and earned his first two senior caps last month. This summer, he helped Germany reach the under-21 Euros final, scoring six goals throughout the tournament.
Germany missed out on the title after losing to England.
Bundesliga champions Bayern are looking for reinforcements up front after the exits of Thomas Müller, Leroy Sané and Mathys Tel. They are also without Jamal Musiala for several months due to a fibula and ankle fracture.

Diogo Gonçalves, Rafael Cabral lead Real Salt Lake to 1-0 victory over Timbers

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Diogo Gonçalves scored late in the second half and Rafael Cabral made it stand up in Real Salt Lake's 1-0 victory over the Portland Timbers on Wednesday night. Gonçalves scored for the third time this season when he used 20-year-old rookie Ariath Piol's second assist in the 83rd minute to send a right-footed shot from the right side of the box past Maxime Crépeau. Piol subbed in for William Agada in the 73rd minute. Cabral had one save and it came in the scoreless first half for Real Salt Lake (8-10-4). It was the sixth clean sheet in 22 starts for the 35-year-old in his first season in the league. Crépeau stopped three shots for the Timbers (9-7-6) — all in the second half. Real Salt Lake has gone 4-0-1 since the start of June and improved to 3-6-3 on the road. Portland falls to 6-2-4 at home on a night the Timbers celebrated the 10th anniversary of their MLS Cup championship. The Timbers were coming off a 2-1 road loss to St. Louis City and are 2-3-1 in their last six matches. The two clubs played to a scoreless draw in Utah in May. Real Salt Lake will host FC Cincinnati on Saturday. The Timbers will host Minnesota United on Saturday. ___ AP soccer:

Myrto Uzuni and Owen Wolff score goals, Austin beats Galaxy 2-1

CARSON, Calif. (AP) — Myrto Uzuni scored a goal in the 40th minute and added an assists, Owen Wolff scored his first goal of the season and Austin FC beat LA 2-1 on Wednesday night to snap the Galaxy's three-game home win streak. Brad Stuver had three saves and his ninth shutout — second in MLS behind Vancouver's Yohei Takaoka (10) — this season for Austin (8-8-6). Diego Rubio, on the counter-attack, played a ball-ahead to Uzuni, who cut back to evade a defender at the edge of the box and then blasted a shot inside the left post to open the scoring. Uzuni misplayed a cross that was deflected but then beat three Galaxy players, including goalkeeper Novak Micovic, to the loose ball near the right post and tapped it to Wolff for the finish from the center of the area that made it 2-0 in the 63rd. LA (3-14-6), the defending MLS Cup champion which had won back-to-back games for the first time this season, had its three-game unbeaten streak snapped. Joseph Paintsil converted from the penalty spot in the third minute of stoppage time for the Galaxy. Micovic stopped two shots. LA had 57% possession and outshot Austin 15-7. Austin beat the Galaxy 1-0 on April 19. ___ AP soccer:
