LONDON (AP) — Defending Wimbledon champion Barbora Krejcikova lost to No. 10 seed Emma Navarro 2-6, 6-3, 6-4 in the third round on Saturday, extending a recent run of one-and-done winners at the All England Club.
Krejcikova faded in the third set, getting her blood pressure checked at the changeover after Navarro broke her to lead 3-2 at No. 1 Court. Krejcikova ate a banana and drank liquids during the medical check, while Navarro walked to her guest box and spoke to her coach during the break in action.
When play resumed, Krejcikova still appeared to be in distress, often leaning over and placing her hands on her knees between points.

How to watch Liberty vs. Lynx: WNBA's best square off for third time this season
It's another WNBA Finals rematch on Saturday as the Minnesota Lynx (27-5) host the New York Liberty (21-12) in a matchup of two of the best teams in the league. Last weekend, the Lynx topped the defending champions 83-71 in New York to take the second of four regular-season games between the two squads. Minnesota did it without MVP front-runner and leading scorer Napheesa Collier, who is listed as doubtful for Saturday's game with a right ankle sprain. How to watch New York Liberty at Minnesota Lynx Venue: Target Center — Minneapolis Time: 2 p.m. ET, Saturday TV: CBS Streaming: Fubo (Save $30) Watching in person? Get tickets on StubHub. Live coverage is also available on Paramount+. The Lynx, who have been without Collier since she was injured on Aug. 2, have not played since last Sunday's win. The Liberty, on the other hand, have played twice, splitting two road games against the Los Angeles Sparks (a 105-97 win) and Las Vegas Aces (a 83-77 loss). New York will also be without superstar Breanna Stewart as she continues to recover from a knee injury. Fortunately, the Liberty still have their top scorer, Sabrina Ionescu (19.3 points per game), to pick up the slack. Ionescu, who led the conference in scoring (21.4) and assists (6.6) in July, was named Eastern Conference Player of the Month for her efforts. After Saturday, the 2024 WNBA finalists square off one more time this regular season on Tuesday, Aug. 19, in New York. With about one month left in the season, the Lynx and Liberty both look to finish strong and secure optimal playoff seeding. Minnesota is 6.5 games ahead of the Liberty for the best record in the WNBA. The Atlanta Dream (21-12) are also hanging around near the top of the league standings. Newcastle officially FAIL to stop star joining Liverpool
Newcastle United have failed to stop one star from joining Liverpool this summer. They did all they Newcastle United have not had the transfer window they hoped for. The Magpies qualified for the UEFA Champions League, after all, and are a wealthy club - it should be fairly routine. Instead, they've consistently missed out on targets. Part of that is certain clubs, like Manchester United, dramatically altering the market with their business. Shop the LFC Store 🚨2025/26 LFC x adidas range🚨 LFC x adidas Shop the home range today! Newcastle wanted to sign Ekitiké to replace Callum Wilson and pushed to agree a fee. Then the Reds waltzed in and snapped him up. They turned their attention to Benjamin Sesko and then lost out to Man United after a long, long saga. And all of this with Alexander Isak kicking up a fuss in the background. But it turns out that Ekitiké isn't actually the only player Newcastle have missed out on to Liverpool. There's now a second. Newcastle wanted Giovanni Leoni Paul Joyce in The Times writes that Newcastle did make a push to sign Giovanni Leoni before he agreed a move to Liverpool. They went as far as bidding to Parma for the talented teenager. But Leoni picked Liverpool, much as Ekitiké did. A difference-maker was the fact the Reds were able to show a clear path to the first-team. And there's certainly that. Ibrahima Konate's contract expires in a year, while Virgil van Dijk is now 34. Leoni simply needs to keep developing at the level he has been and there's a regular starting role just waiting for him. This, however, will be a massive blow to Newcastle once again. They just haven't had their way in this window whatsoever and it might actually get worse. Isak remains eager to leave and Liverpool remain eager to buy. Newcastle have two more weeks to make a massive decision - and it could well see yet another star heading to Merseyside over Tyneside.
