Memphis rapper Finesse2tymes provides aid for residents after tornado damage
The rapper's support comes after an EF-3 tornado swept through eight miles of St. Louis City on Friday, traveling from Clayton through Forest Park and into north St. Louis. In the aftermath of the devastating tornado, five people were left dead, 40 people were injured, and damage could be spotted throughout the area, including uprooted trees, downed power lines, and disfigured buildings.
After being booked to perform Sunday night at Republic, a nightclub in north St. Louis County, the rapper decided to stay in St. Louis to provide resources to residents impacted by the damage from the recent storm.

In a video posted on social media, the rapper could be seen at a local store showcasing carts full of goods to give back to the community. Additionally, the rapper shared the address to a 'Save A Lot' grocery store, located on the 4400 block of Natural Bridge Avenue, where individuals could meet him and receive the goods.
In another social media post, Finesse2tymes shared various photos and videos from his time in St. Louis, including the damage in the aftermath of the tornado, moments from the giveaway, and interactions he had with residents.

Finesse2tymes is a Memphis rapper best known for his song, 'Back End.' It is unknown if the rapper has any connection to the St. Louis area.

Finesse2Tymes shut down 50 Cent's recommendation that the Memphis rapper call his mom amid their public fallout. Last week, Finesse's mother, Pluria Alexander, launched a GoFundMe campaign for moving expenses after claiming to be threatened with eviction. Alexander alleges that the Memphis rapper, real name Ricky Hampton, has financially cut her off, and she now faces homelessness. As Alexander has continued to demand financial help from Finesse on social media, on Tuesday (August 12), Fifty weighed in on Instagram. "Hey Finesse you look like yo momma man just call her," the G-Unit frontman wrote, per The Shade Room.
