
SSLC exam: Mysuru's special school achieves 100% results
Ranga Rao Memorial School for Differently Abled (RMSD), Mysuru, on Saturday said its students have achieved impressive results in the SSLC examination for the academic year 2024–2025. The school has achieved 100% results, with all the students passing the examination.
Jahnavi H.K. secured the top position with a 91% score. Two students achieved distinction, while the remaining nine students who appeared for the examination passed in first class. 'This outstanding performance marks a significant achievement for the school,' the authorities said.
The RMSD, a free residential school for visually impaired girls from Grade 1 to Grade 10, functions under the 'Child-Centric Project' supported by the Department of the Empowerment of Differently Abled and Senior Citizens, Karnataka. The school not only offers education but also provides lodging, boarding, and healthcare facilities. It was established in 1988 to empower visually impaired girls in and around Mysuru through education and vocational training. Additionally, it equips students with life skills, music, dance, and basic cooking training, a press release said.
'The results reflect the dedication and perseverance of our students and the unrelenting efforts of our teachers and staff. The success brings us closer to our mission of empowering the differently abled and helping them lead independent and dignified lives,' said R. Guru, chairman of the NR Foundation, expressing his joy over the results.
Jahnavi, the school topper, said, 'I am deeply grateful to my teachers for believing in me and guiding me every step of the way. Their support and encouragement have been instrumental in my success. This achievement has filled me with confidence to pursue my dreams and build a stable career in the future.'

Over 1,800 students clear SSLC-2 examination in DK, Udupi districts
As many as 993 students (35.66 %) of 2,785 class 10 students from Dakshina Kannada and 821 students (43.01 %) of 1,905 students from Udupi district have passed the SSLC-2 examination conducted in the last week of May. S. Sriram Shetty from Government High School Kundapura, Udupi district, was the topper with full 625 marks. In Dakshina Kannada, the Moodbidri block topped as 72 of the 145 students (49.66%) have passed. The next is Puttur block where 152 of the 341 students (44.57%) passed. A total of 154 of 349 students passed from Belthangady block (44.13%), and 83 of 200 students (41.5%) passed from Sullia block. As many as 222 of the 760 students (29.21%) have passed from Bantwal education block From the two Mangaluru city blocks, 157 (29.02%) from Mangaluru South and 153 (34.08%) from Mangaluru North blocks cleared SSLC-2 examination. Vikram Shailesha Nayak from Shree Nayarayana Guru English Medium High School, Katipalla, Mangaluru, and P.N. Sharadhi from Karnataka Public School, Bellare, Sullia taluk secured 622 marks. Sameeksha Sudhakara Shetty from Vani English Medium School Belthangady, Laxmi Sangayya Malimath from B.R. Ambedkar Residential School, Gurupura, Mangaluru, and P. Greeshma from Knanaya Jyothi English Medium High School Kadaba, Puttur have secured 620 marks. Shaina Lisha Monthero from Government High School Manila Bantwal taluk and Azweena Maimuna from Khilriya English Medium School, Idya, Surathkal, Mangaluru, have secured 618 marks. As many as 209 of 370 students (56.49%) passed from Kundapura block, 131 of 299 students (43.81%) from Karkala, 160 of 357 (44.82%) from Brahmavar, 140 of 368 students (38.04%) from Byndoor block and 181 of 511 (35.42%) students from Udupi blocks have passed. Among the toppers from Udupi district include M.S. Hariprasad from Sri Venkatramana English Medium School Kundapura and Chiranthan Bhat from Sandeepan English Medium School, Byndoor, who got 623 marks. Gauthami Gopal Bhandari from Sandeepan English Medium School, Byndoor, secured 622 marks. The third attempt of SSLC examination, SSLC-3, is scheduled to be held between July 5 and July 12.

Karnataka SSLC Exam 3 Begins On This Date, Check Registration Deadline
The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) declared the results of the SSLC Exam 2 (Class 10 supplementary exam) on June 13. The board has issued a consolidated result for Exam 1 and 2, taking the better marks into account. Students can check their results on the official portal, This year, SSLC Exam 2 was conducted between May 26 and June 2 in a single shift from 10 AM to 1.15 PM. The practical and viva voce exams were held separately on June 3. According to official data, 2,78,355 students appeared for SSLC Exam 2. Of them, 84,597 students cleared the exam, recording an overall pass percentage of 30.39%. Among students from unaided schools, 22,093 out of 69,030 passed, with a pass rate of 32%. As per the academic reform introduced in 2023-24, the board now conducts three SSLC exams in a year. Students who were unable to clear the first two attempts or wish to improve their scores can appear for SSLC Exam 3, which will be held between June 23 and June 30. To apply for SSLC Exam 3, students must complete the registration process through their respective schools. The last date to submit applications is June 17, 2025. Additionally, the board has also opened the application windows for photocopy, retotalling, and revaluation of SSLC Exam 2 answer sheets.
