The Rockstar Lestat has entered the building. The cast and crew of 'Anne Rice's Interview with the Vampire' took the stage at San Diego Comic-Con's Ballroom 20 to tease the AMC+ series' hotly anticipated third season.
Fans were given an exclusive sneak peek backstage in a new teaser featuring star Sam Reid delivering an electrifying stage performance as the vampire Lestat.

At the scream-filled panel, four new cast members were also revealed: Jennifer Ehle ('Lioness') as Gabriella, Ella Ballentine ('Black Conflux') as Baby Jenks, Jeanine Serralles ('Apples Never Fall' as Christine Claire, Christopher Heyerdahl ('Under the Banner of Heaven') as Marius and Damien Atkins ('Slings & Arrows') as Magnus. It was also confirmed that fan-favorites Delainey Hayles and Assad Zaman will return to the series.
The crew unveiled three minutes of footage from the new season, including a tense conversation between Louis and Daniel concerning the now-published book, a boardroom confrontation between Louis and Lestat, and of course, lots of blood.
The panel also shed light on the new series 'Anne Rice's Talamasca,' including its release date of Oct. 26. Eric Bogosian, who portrays investigative journalist and author of 'Interview with a Vampire' Daniel Molloy, made a surprise reveal that he will reprise his role, guest starring as a crossover character in the new show. Screams and cheers echoed throughout the ballroom as his character appeared in screen in the brand new teaser trailer.
'Daniel has dealt with the Talamasca before,' Bogosian told the crowd. 'The Talamasca has been living on the edges of Daniel Malloy's consciousness, and now he's found out that the Talamasca is pulling him in deeper into their world.'
The crew behind 'Interview with the Vampire,' including cast members Reid, Bogosian and Jacob Anderson, plus executive producer Mark Johnson and showrunner/executive producer Rolin Jones, stopped by the Comic-Con Variety Studio presented by Google TV to tease more details of the season.
Assuaging fan fears that this season's POV shift towards Lestat could mean less Louis, Anderson shared, 'I can say that Louis is not hugely pleased with the book's existence, if that is a good tease. I'm here! I'm here.'
'No one should worry at all. There's way more Louis in our show than there is in the book,' Jones added.
Reid, who learned the music for the rockstar Lestat before seeing the scripts for Season 3, also spoke to his experience in combining the two puzzle pieces to form a complete picture of his character's journey. 'It was deeply satisfying actually, because the songs are incredible pieces alone, but there's also a show that we shoot, and it's got story. There are scenes that exist within the performances, within the actual songs themselves. Layering Rolin's work on top of [composer Daniel Hart's] work is quite challenging. They're very different, but they both have a singular vision. Sometimes I feel like I get caught up in the middle of the whirlwind of the two of them, but I think that works perfectly for a start. He's all chaos, all the time.'
Google TV is the presenting sponsor of the Comic-Con Variety Studio.

Paige Spiranac Wows Golf Fans With 'Natural' Appearance

Paige Spiranac Wows Golf Fans With 'Natural' Appearance originally appeared on The Spun. Paige Spiranac is no stranger to going viral on the internet. That being said, she left some of her fans speechless over her latest video. Before she became a household name as a content creator, Spiranac played golf at San Diego State. The former All-Mountain West performer helped the program win a conference championship. She then rode that momentum to the pro level, competing in the developmental Cactus Tour as well as a LPGA Tour qualifier. Unfortunately, she dealt with some criticism during the early stages of her career. Back in 2015, rival golfers accused Spiranac of performing "sexual favors" to get invited to the Dubai Masters. She fired back at that false narrative during an appearance on the "Quiet Please!" podcast. "I show up and was doing hours of press, which I wasn't prepared for. I had no training to do this. And I would say there were a couple of girls who were really supportive and who were nice, but the majority, it was brutal," Spiranac said, via the New York Post. "I would go on the range and girls would just scatter. No one wanted to hit next to me. "There were constant comments like 'I did sexual favors to get this invite,' and I was listening to it — and they would say [it] within earshots of me. It was tough. Not knowing what I was doing, it was my first pro event, it was really difficult. I just wanted to be liked and I played so bad. It was horrendous." While the days of Spiranac dealing with damaging rumors are over, she admit last Friday that she still battles with golf course anxiety. "So I have a really toxic love-hate relationship with the game of golf. And I have talked about this ad nauseam. It was one of the reasons why I stopped playing golf professionally," Spiranac said. "I just could never get over the golf course anxiety. And I would just feel that my mind always won, and I was weak and I could just never overcome that feeling. "There's also something about the game of golf that makes you addicted to it but also makes you feel like the most worthless human being ever when you have a bad round. I've been working with a therapist on this. I love golf so much, but sometimes, I just can't break through. It eats at me, and I know so many others can relate to this." While fans certainly applauded Spiranac for sharing this story, many of them also brought up how she recorded this video without any makeup. "No makeup and she's still [fire emoji]," one social media user wrote. "You're perfect the way you are! Keep having fun playing golf and keep providing entertaining content and just enjoy the ride," a fan said. "Natural beauty," another fan replied. It has become very clear that Spiranac is beloved in the golf community, and rightfully so. Not only does Spiranac offer tips to golfers trying to lower their scores, she's willing to open up about her own personal struggles. That has allowed her to build a genuine connection with her fans. Magic: The Gathering Unveils Spider-Man Cards — GeekTyrant

Over the weekend, at San Diego Comic-Con, Magic: The Gathering showed off a bunch of cards from the upcoming Marvel's Spider-Man set. The set, titled Magic: The Gathering | Marvel's Spider-Man , will release globally on September 26 and is sure to bring a lot of joy to players everywhere. Looking at the new cards and art with my limited knowledge of Magic (I just played and won my first ever Commander game over the weekend), I think the art for the five basic lands is really cool, I like the classic comic art cards for collection purposes (but hate them for actual play due to readability), think it's absolute madness the number of variant arts for the same card (Amazing Spider-Man has four artworks, Ultimate Spider-Man has three artworks, etc.) instead of just using those artworks for different cards, and just think this sounds like fun for some players and collectors. Which of the revealed cards are you most hyped for? If you are hyped for Magic: The Gathering | Marvel's Spider-Man , you can look forward to more previews and details that will start swinging out the first week of September. What are you hoping to see from the upcoming set?

Awesome JAWS Poster Art From Artist Tyler Stout Pays Tribute To Quint — GeekTyrant

I had to share this great Jaws print with you that was created by artist Tyler Stout. This was a limited edition Comic-Con exclusive of only 150 prints. They sold out at the event, but I managed to score one, and this is a beautiful peice! The poster was created for CODA Gallery. Quint, the rugged shark hunter from, is one of the most unforgettable characters in cinematic history. Played masterfully by Robert Shaw, Quint is the epitome of grit and resilience, an old-school seaman with a weathered exterior and a deep-rooted trauma that fuels his obsession. What makes Quint such a powerful character isn't just his fearlessness or bravado, but the depth of his past, especially the haunting USS Indianapolis monologue that reveals the true horror he's lived through. He's not just a shark hunter; he's a man shaped by survival, driven by vengeance, and unwilling to back down. His intensity, gruff charm, and unwavering determination make him a compelling force in the story and the emotional anchor of the film's tension.
