Qatar announces Eid Al Adha 2025 holiday
Qatar has announced holiday dates for the upcoming Eid Al Adha holidays.
According to a post by stare-run news agency QNA, on the occasion of Eid Al Adha, the Amiri Diwan announced that holidays will be as follows:
First, ministries, other government entities and public institutions: the Eid holiday starts Thursday, Dhu Al-Hijjah 9, 1446, corresponding to June 5, 2025, and ends Monday, Dhu Al-Hijjah 13, 1446, corresponding to June 9, 2025. Employees will resume work Tuesday, Dhu Al-Hijjah 14, 1446, corresponding to June 10, 2025
Second, Qatar Central Bank (QCB), banks, and financial institutions working under the supervision of QCB and Qatar Financial Markets Authority (QFMA): HE the Governor of Qatar Central Bank determines the start and end date of the holiday

Egypt's annual headline inflation hits 16.5% in May: CAPMAS
Arab Finance: Egypt's annual headline inflation recorded 16.5% in May, versus 13.5% in April, as reported by the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS) on June 4th. The inflation rate was driven by a 11.2% year-on-year (YoY) jump in food and beverage prices, due to a 16% increase in grains and bread prices and a 10.3% increase in fish and seafood prices. Prices falling under the alcoholic beverage and tobacco segment surged by 15.6% compared to May 2024. Meanwhile, the housing, water, electricity, natural gas, and fuel sector recorded a 19.3% YoY increase in prices. INJAZ Bahrain hosts the 17th Annual Young Entrepreneurs Competition
Manama, Bahrain – INJAZ Bahrain proudly concluded its 17th annual Young Entrepreneurs Competition at Crowne Plaza Bahrain, marking a significant milestone in fostering entrepreneurial spirit and innovation among Bahraini youth. Under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Hessa bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, Chairperson of INJAZ Bahrain, the event showcased the remarkable talents of over 1,000 students from local high schools and universities. This year's competition carries added significance as INJAZ Bahrain celebrates its 20th anniversary—marking two decades of empowering young minds and nurturing the Kingdom's future business leaders.
