Hazaribag: Coal dispatch at NTPC's Keredari and Chati Bariatu project suffered as heavy vehicle owners stopped lifting coal from the sidings to protest alleged assault on one of their colleagues by former Barkagaon MLA and former minister Yogendra Sao on Saturday.
The NTPC officials said that due to this, they are set to face heavy financial losses.
Sao denied the charges.
Hazaribag SDO (sadar) Baijnath Kanti said, "NTPC is making efforts to start resumption of the dispatch. We are monitoring the law and order situation." TNN
