ENI ALUKO has reportedly been ditched by ITV for England Women's first match since she accused Ian Wright of blocking opportunities for female pundits.
The former Lioness star claimed in April that Wright, who works as a pundit on both men's and women's football matches, was blocking work opportunities for female pundits to work on women's football.

Aluko later apologised to Wright, though the ex-Arsenal ace rejected her apology.
And following that exchange, ITV have not selected Aluko for punditry duty as the Lionesses face Portugal in the Nations League on Friday night.
The broadcaster has selected Anita Asante and Vicky Losada for punditry duty instead.
And according to the Daily Mail, the broadcaster has refused to confirm whether Aluko will be part of their coverage of the Women's European Championships.
Insiders claim she may even be facing the axe completely, with one saying the choice to not select her for coverage against Portugal "does not bode well" for her.
ITV have been approached for comment.

Arsenal close in on first summer signing with cut-price deal for Chelsea flop

Arsenal look set to complete their first signing of the summer transfer window after agreeing a cut-price fee for a forgotten Chelsea star. Alongside signing a marquee goalscorer to lead the line, the Gunners have been keen to sign a backup keeper to provide cover for David Raya. Neto has returned to Bournemouth after his season-long loan at the Emirates, while highly-rated teenagers Jack Porter and Tommy Setford arelikely to spend the coming season out on loan. Arsenal had been heavily linked with a move for Espanyol keeper Joan Garcia, having previously failed with a bid to sign the Spaniard last summer. The 24-year-old looks destined to leave his boyhood club this summer but, despite Arsenal's renewed interest, he now looks to be on the verge of joining Espanyol's local rivals Barcelona. Forced to look elsewhere, Arsenal have instead moved quickly to secure a move for Chelsea outcast Kepa Arrizabalaga, according to The Athletic. Kepa signed for Chelsea from Athletic Club for a whopping £72million back in 2018, but is now set to move across London for just £5m due to buyout clause in his current contract. The 30-year-old has made 109 Premier League appearances for the Blues but has spent the last two seasons away from the club on loan at Real Madrid and Bournemouth respectively. The Spaniard will now join Arteta's side to provide competition for Raya who has established himself as one of the league's best keepers. Kepa may appear happy to sit on the bench and challenge Raya for minutes, but former Gunners midfielder Ray Parlour said the Spaniard shouldn't settle for a back-up role at this stage of his career. More Trending 'It's all on whether he wants to play, he's not going to play at Arsenal is he?' the former England midfielder told talkSPORT. 'He's going to be the No.2, do you want to be No.2? He's obviously been No.1 at Bournemouth. If you're Arsenal, you want to buy him because he's a great No.2 to have. 'But if you're Kepa, you want to play unless you're happy to sit on the bench but if I was a keeper at his age I'd want to play because you'll regret it once you finish.' Coco Gauff becomes first US French Open champion since Serena Williams with stunning comeback win over Aryna Sabalenka

For the first time in a decade, the Roland Garros women's crown will be in United States hands as Gauff came from a set behind on Court Philippe-Chatrier. 7 Coco Gauff became the first American for ten years to win the French Open Credit: AP 7 She beat Aryna Sabalenka in three sets at Roland Garros Credit: AFP Under an open roof, in a final that pitted the No1 versus the No2 seed, the 21-year-old won 6-7 6-2 6-4 after more than two-and-a-half hours, with Manchester United legend Eric Cantona watching from the front-row seats. Gauff, who lost to Iga Swiatek in the 2022 final, fell to the floor when it was all over and started to cry, mouthing: "Oh my God, oh my God." This is Gauff's second major championship win, the last one coming against the Belarusian at the 2023 US Open in New York, which also went to three sets. It was tense and suspenseful but not the best quality final. That will matter little for the Yanks as Gauff took possession of the trophy on the biggest clay-court arena in the world. Tenacious Sabalenka, who has a tiger tattoo on her left forearm, managed to come from 4-1 down in the first-set tie break to move 1-0 up after 80 minutes of intense play. It was the first time the opening set of the women's singles final in the French capital had been decided at the tie-break since 1998 when Arantxa Sanchez Vicario faced Monica Seles. Yet world No2 Gauff won 12 of the next 18 games, banking the £2.1million top prize on her second match point in slightly bizarre fasion. Her forehand looked for all the world to be heading long but bounced on the line as Sabalenka had to readjust to keep the rally going but on her next shot pushed a backhand wide of the tramline as Gauff collapsed on to the clay in delight. The Florida-born star is the first American to win the Roland Garros singles title since Williams in 2015. Behind-the-scenes US Open footage shows furious Aryna Sabalenka repeatedly smashing racket after crushing final loss And she is also the youngest American conqueror since the retired 23-time Grand Slam champion was successful in 2002 aged 20. World No1 Sabalenka, as she often does, cut a frustrated figure as things went against her, screaming out obscenities to her box, and failing to find any inspiration to stop the tie turning in her opponent's favour. 7 Gauff managed to edge the victory in tricky, windy conditions Credit: Getty 7 Sabalenka's frustrations were clear to see Credit: Getty 7 Gauff collapsed out on the clay in celebration Credit: Getty 7 Her roar at the end was full of sheer joy and delight Credit: Reuters

Jake Paul's opponent 'laughed out of the gym' by boxing rival ahead of fight

Boxing legend Shawn Porter has backed Jake Paul to beat Julio Cesar Chavez Jr after he was left amused by what he saw from the Mexican in training. Paul is scheduled to make his boxing return on June 28 at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California, against the former WBC middleweight champion. The 'Problem Child' has not fought since he cruised to a points victory over Mike Tyson back in November. Chavez Jr has been fairly inactive since losing the middleweight world title back in 2012. With a professional record of 54-6-1-1, the 39-year-old has fought the likes of Daniel Jacobs, Canelo Alvarez and Andy Lee. He comes into the cruiserweight dust-up off the back of a win against ex-UFC star Uriah Hall last July. While many are expecting a tough night at the office for Paul, Porter has confidently predicted that the 28-year-old will get the victory later this month. Speaking on The Porter Way Podcast, he said. 'I got Jake Paul by KO.' The boxing icon then explained how previously seeing Chavez Jr in the gym helped him come to that conclusion. 'He doesn't have a gas tank. That means you're not working and training out of the gym. I saw the in gym stuff and you scratch your head like 'that was it for the day?' He said. 'One day he came into the gym he shadow boxed, I don't know if he made it a round on the bag, then he packed up and left … I've seen some short stuff. I don't want to disrespect but it will make you scratch your head. The other fighters were laughing like 'that was it? Why did he show up?'' With just a few weeks to go until the clash, Paul is confident that he will "embarrass" Chavez Jr. "I'm gonna shock the world once again and prove how good I am, how powerful I am," the 28-year-old said at the launch press conference. "This is his toughest fight to date, and I'm going to embarrass him and make him quit like he always does." He added: "I don't want any excuses, and when I beat this man all the boxing media, like you guys always do, are going to discredit it. But I'm gonna expose him and I'm gonna embarrass him. He's the embarrassment of Mexico. Mexico doesn't claim him. "He's going to get exposed on June 28, and then the boxing media will have all these excuses but I don't want them to be having these excuses. They say he's training hard, they say this is the most focused he's ever been, good. As he should be, because people don't realise how good I actually am, and when he feels those first few punches he's going to want to quit and go back to his stool."
