
UPSC Civil Services Main Exam Admit Card 2025 Out, Direct Link To Download Here
The UPSC Mains exam is set to be held between August 22 to 31. The morning session will commence at 8:30 AM and the afternoon session fro 2 PM.
The Union Public Service Commission has released UPSC Mains Admit Card 2025. Candidates can now check and download their Civil Services Main Examination 2025 admit card form the official UPSC website – upsc.gov.in and also through upsconline.nic.in.
The exam is set to be held between August 22 to 31. The morning session will commence at 8:30 AM and the afternoon session fro 2 PM. The exam venue will close 30 minutes before the commencement of the exam.
'Bring the print out of e-Admit Card along with the original Photo Identity Card, as mentioned in the e-Admit Card, in each session to secure admission to Examination Hall. E-Admit Card must be preserved till the declaration of the final result of the Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2025," reads the official notice.
UPSC Mains exams consist of nine theory descriptive/theory papers. Out of these, two papers are for English and Regional language. These two papers are mandatory for the contestant to attend. The total mark for both papers is 300. Papers 1, 2, 3, and 4 are for GS. Each paper is of 250 marks. One essay test and 2 papers for the optional subject the candidate has chosen. It also consists of 250 marks. After qualifying the civil service main exam, candidates will be called for interview.
UPSC Mains: What To Carry/ Not Carry On Exam Day?
Candidates are permitted to bring only the printed e-Admit Card, pen, pencil, identity proof, self-photographs (if applicable), and any other items specified in the e-Admit Card instructions to the venue. Additionally, the use of scientific (non-programmable) calculators is allowed if necessary, and candidates may bring them.
Candidates must not possess or use mobile phones (even if switched off), pagers, or any electronic equipment or programmable devices, storage media like pen drives, smart watches, cameras, Bluetooth devices, or any other equipment or accessories capable of communication during the examination.
Candidates are prohibited from bringing any bags, luggage, valuables, costly items, mobile phones, smart/digital watches, IT gadgets, books, etc., into the examination premises.

RFSL Dharamshala achieves 7 successive years of NABL accreditation
Dharamshala, Aug 14 (PTI) In a significant feat, the Regional Forensic Science Laboratory (RFSL), Northern Range, Dharamshala, maintained its continuous National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL) accreditation for seven years under ISO/IEC 17025 quality standards. Established in 2008, RFSL plays a vital role in serving the farthest districts of the state, ensuring timely forensic reporting. RFSL Dharamshala has the distinction of being the first RFSL in the country to achieve ISO/IEC 17025 NABL accreditation in 2018 (upgraded to the 2017 standard in 2020) and the first to be notified as an Examiner of Electronic Evidence under Section 79A of the IT Act by the Government of India.
