Aussie comedian brutally roasts Clementine Ford and Abbie Chatfield amid their bitter online 'feminist feud'

Daily Mail24-05-2025

An Australian comedian has weighed in on the bitter online war of words brewing between Clementine Ford and Abbie Chatfield.
The pair of media personalities have been exchanging barbs since online Clementine accused Abbie of profiting from the 'performance of being politically engaged' in the run-up to the Australian Federal Election.
Now comedian Lisa Jane Spencer has served a savage takedown of the feminist content creators and it is sending her fans wild.
The satirical video, dubbed The Feminist Feud, begins with Lisa, dressed as Clementine, typing her thoughts into her diary.
'Dear Clementine,' she says. 'Today, I'm the best and realest feminist activist in the world, unlike Abbie Chatfield, who thrives on performative activism and prioritises personal gain over actual systemic change.'

The clip then cuts to parody Clementine deciding what to post to social media to engender the most anger.
Lisa then brings out her best Abbie Chatfield, who is seen breaking down in tears and struggling to get her words out.
'Please stop with the character assassination,' parody Abbie says.
'This is so f***ing triggering....Clementine, stop defaming me.'
Lisa then appears as a TV news anchor delivering a live bulletin where she says: 'And now a word from everyone that Abbie Chatfield has done the same thing to.'
She then says to a producer off camera: 'We don't have enough time? There's too many people that she's done that to?'
Parody Clementine is back diarising where she adds: 'Furthermore, if you disagree with her, you're either a troll, unintelligent or jealous,' with a cheeky laugh.
Back to parody Abbie, still on the verge of tears, who adds: 'I guess she's just obsessed with me.'
'Obviously, I've got an amazing boyfriend. She's probably just jealous.'
The hilarious clip was met with a flurry of comments from fans and those who had been following the online stoush.
'I'm hooked! This is so good!' one excited viewer offered, while another jumped in with: 'The bestest ever battle of the worst binfluencers. Comedic gold.'
A third suggested: 'You didn't even have to make any of it up! Great job, but satire may be dead.'
The latest development in the online saga came when Clementine wrote on her Dear Clementine blog on Substack that some influencers like Abbie profit from the 'performance of being politically engaged' while criticising anyone who disagrees with them.
Abbie responded with a video post on Instagram in which she called out Clementine.
'She's literally writing a burn book about me and doing insults like "She thinks she's so hot",' she said.
'What a weirdo - Oh my God.'
Abbie finished off the clip with a plea to the writer.
'Clementine, take a step back from the internet. Take a step back from Reddit please.'
Abbie later returned to the platform in tears as the social media war of words took a dark turn.
She accused Clementine of 'trolling' her, and said it was affecting her mental health and made her feel unsafe.
'I get it enough from people on the right and trolls and men that hate me and want to threaten me and want me dead. Please stop dehumanising me,' she wept.
'Please, you can criticise my content, you can criticise my work, just - I'm begging you - stop lying about my intentions.
'Stop saying that I have a personality disorder. You don't know me. This is so f****ing triggering I just want her to stop.'
'It isn't working, you're discouraging others... Please, I'm just trying to do what I can to help.
'I just don't understand why she's so adamant on proving that I'm awful. I don't get it. This is so incredibly stressful and awful what she is doing.'
'I'm scared of her. Please stop, Clementine. I am begging you to stop,' she sobbed.
'You don't know me at all, you're a stranger. I deal with so much, every single day. I deal with insults every single day, I do not need it from you because you know that when you say it you validate it for people on the left.
'You are f**ing my mental health. Please f***ing stop.'
She then posted screenshots of comments made by the writer, calling Chatfield an 'idiotic narcissist', 'completely shallow' and a 'deeply basic thinker'.

Katy Perry strips down to a bikini at a Bondi bathhouse she takes a break from her Lifetimes Tour

Katy Perry is making the most of her time in Sydney. The American popstar, 40, took a well-deserved break from her Lifetimes Tour and a high energy climb of the Sydney Harbour Bridge at one of Bondi's wellness spots Slow House on Sunday. The Firework singer indulged in a 90-minute hot magnesium soak alongside her crew in the studio's luxe communal bathhouse and shared a video of her visit on Instagram. Wearing a simple swimsuit, Katy stood poolside before panning the camera toward her derrière. 'After the bridge climb, slow time,' she teased in the video, clearly revelling in her downtime. The Firework singer indulged in a 90-minute hot magnesium soak alongside her crew in the studio's luxe communal bathhouse and shared a video of her visit on Instagram The American star then uploaded a steamy snap from inside the sauna, posing for a post-soak selfie with her dancers. Katy and her team enjoyed a late-night period of rest and relaxation that lasted until nearly 2am, a source tells Daily Mail Australia. On Sunday night, Katy was spotted climbing the Sydney Harbour Bridge during the city's Vivid Sydney festival. At one point, Katy joyfully waved to onlookers below and later held up a small rainbow flag with both hands, grinning as she proudly celebrated diversity and inclusion. Last week she stunned onlookers stunned as she took a very casual shopping trip in Sydney's western suburbs. The Roar hitmaker was seen wandering around Lidcombe Shopping Centre on Tuesday, ahead of kicking off her tour. Katy had daughter Daisy Dove on her hip as she stopped into a series of stores. Katy strolled by the Aldi supermarket and discount department store Kmart with her small entourage. She blended in with the locals in a low key ensemble including a grey Celine tracksuit, cap and sunglasses. The popstar is performing three shows of her Lifetimes Tour in Sydney, bringing all of her iconic hits as well as some of her new tracks from her latest album 143. She will play her next show in Sydney on Tuesday night. Tickets to the pop icon's tour, which has received an onslaught of criticism over the last few months, have been in high demand, with the Roar hitmaker announcing two extra shows on the Australian run to accommodate all of her fans. Taking to Instagram in February, Katy revealed she added an extra show at Sydney's Qudos Bank Arena on June 4 to kick off the Australian leg, as well as an extra Melbourne show at Rod Laver Arena on June 7. The Grammy-nominated superstar revealed she had been humbled with the success of her Australian tour, with all previous dates now sold out. Captioning the announcement, Katy said: 'I am so blown away by the incredible demand for THE LIFETIMES TOUR that I will be adding a final show in Sydney and a final show in Melbourne to make sure all my Australian fans have a chance to experience the incredible show I am bringing.' Katy will now play a hefty 15 Australian shows. She announced the Australian Lifetimes tour just prior to her turn at the AFL Grand Final in September. The original run included just one show each for Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth, however fan demand dictated Katy needed to add two extra Sydney and Brisbane shows. Crestfallen Adelaide fans expressed their frustration over missing out on their chance to see Katy in the flesh but they were not left out in the cold for too long. Listening to fan protests, Katy eventually added a run of four shows in the City of Churches. 'I heard you loud and clear Adelaide, I got you!' Katy wrote on Instagram.

Woolworths announces major change to its famous mud cakes: 'I need it in my life'

Woolworths has unveiled a brand new twist on its iconic mud cake - and fans say it's one of the supermarket's best sweet treats to date. Landing in stores this week, the Choc Chip Cookie Mud Cake is the latest addition to its beloved range that sees five mud cakes sold every minute in Australia. Priced at just $7, the limited-edition 600g dessert is available both in-store and online from Tuesday, June 10. The new flavour features a caramel mud cake base packed with cookie pieces and topped with choc chip drizzle, blending two household favourites - cake and cookie - into one indulgent creation. Woolworths' Chief Cake Maker Laura Mcleod said the bakery team wanted to fuse the familiar nostalgia of freshly baked biscuits with the rich decadence of the brand's signature mud cake. 'We've infused that unmistakable, beloved flavour of freshly-baked choc chip cookies right into our signature caramel mud cake,' she explained, adding that the team knew Australians had a soft spot for that classic cookie taste. 'By combining it with our popular mud cake, we've aimed to create an irresistible new treat.' Early reviews suggest the gamble has paid off. Content creators Nick Vavitis and Nectro Vlangos shared their first impressions in a video taste test. Vavitis noted the cake was 'loaded with cookie on top' and 'full of choc chips,' describing the flavour as 'absolutely smashing [his] taste buds right now.' Vlangos agreed, saying it 'hits you in the face straight away' and likening the dessert to 'a massive chocolate chip muffin,' with a caramel ganache icing that adds to the richness. 'I absolutely love this one,' he said. 'It's the best mud cake since the birthday cake flavour.' Vavitis went one step further, calling it 'definitely one of the best mud cakes they have ever released.' Shoppers are already racing to try it, with social media comments flooding in after the cake's announcement. One shopper wrote, 'I need this in my life - three of my favourite things ever: cookies, mudcake, and chocolate chips.' Landing in stores this week, the Choc Chip Cookie Mud Cake is the latest addition to the beloved range that sees Aussies snapping up five mud cakes every minute Another added, 'You had me at giant chocolate chip muffin.' While others lamented the poor timing: 'Why am I seeing this after I've done my shopping for the week?' Of course, not everyone was entirely sold, with one customer commenting that it was 'a bit too dry' for their liking, though for many, that won't be enough to keep them away. With its caramel-cookie combo and nostalgic flavour profile, the Choc Chip Cookie Mud Cake is tipped to become the next cult favourite in Woolworths' bakery aisle - but only for a short time so you'll have to be quick.

Footy fan spots a VERY bizarre sight at the MCG - but there's a simple explanation

A footy supporter who took in the Magpies vs Demons match at the MCG on Monday night has photographed what a rarely seen part of the MCG that will be a surprise to most Aussie sport fans. The full house sign went up at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on the King's Birthday for the clash between Collingwood and Melbourne, which also featured the annual FightMND Big Freeze in honour of Demons champion Neale Daniher. But while most of the 100,000-plus crowd was focused on the ice slides and the footy, one diehard snapped a part of the stadium they'd never noticed before. 'What is this library looking room at the MCG?,' they posted to Reddit. The answer, as it turns out, is rather straightforward: it is the Melbourne Cricket Club library, which has held a prized place at the iconic venue since 1873. 'The library looking room is a library, in fact it's the MCC library,' another Reddit user replied to the original request. Another pointed out that it is actually a hidden secret for those looking to find new treasures in Melbourne. 'MCC Library - its an awesome room,' they wrote. 'When I take my 5 year old, and hes [sic] had enough watching the game (as 5yo's can do at times), we go there to read stories for a bit. 'There are always a few parents doing the same thing, and we will be sneaking each other scores while we catch up on the latest from Peppa Pig or Bluey. 'Also a top spot just to get away from the crowds and look at the city skyline.' The MCC Library at the MCG houses one of the world's leading collections of sports literature and ephemera. Founded in 1873, it began with just 13 volumes of The Australasian newspaper. Today, it holds over one million items covering 119 sports, with a focus on cricket, Australian football and the Olympic Games. The library is dedicated to preserving sports history and is a vital part of the Melbourne Cricket Club's heritage program. The collection features historical and biographical works, as well as rare memorabilia and archival materials. To celebrate its 150th anniversary in 2023, the library showcased 150 treasures from its extensive collection. The MCC Library also offers research services supported by professional staff and specialist volunteers. It remains an essential hub for sports scholars, fans, and anyone interested in the rich sporting culture of Australia. The library is part of a raft of facilites available at the MCG that might shock some footy fans - and go beyond cricket and AFL. The venue underwent a major redevelopment valued at $1billion, aimed at modernising the iconic venue. One of the headline upgrades was the complete rebuild of the Shane Warne Stand, formerly the Great Southern Stand, to boost stadium capacity to 105,000. Throughout the venue, essential public facilities were upgraded, including the installation of water fountains and universal charging stations. First aid rooms were refurbished to provide rapid response care during events. Families benefited from new parent rooms equipped with baby-change tables and private feeding spaces. Food and beverage options were diversified, with dozens of outlets offering local and international fare across all levels. Patrons now find it easier to navigate the ground thanks to improved signage, digital screens, and directional assistance. Accessibility was also prioritised, with improved wheelchair seating and enhanced entry points for patrons with mobility needs. The Melbourne Cricket Club (MCC) is one of the oldest and most prestigious sporting clubs in Australia. Founded in 1838, it is best known as the manager and custodian of the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG).
