Satellite proof debunks Pakistan's fake strikes' claims on Indian air bases after Operation Sindoor
At the centre of the fact-checking campaign is Damien Symon, a top Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) analyst, who has systematically debunked each claim. His analysis revealed that Pakistan used outdated images, misrepresented routine maintenance as battle damages on Indian forces.
Adampur air base: The 'damaged Sukhoi'
Pakistani reports had claimed that a China-made JF-17 fighter jet damaged a Sukhoi Su-30 at the Indian Air Force's Adampur air base during the four-day conflict last month.
But Symon, using satellite imagery from March 2025, two months before the hostilities, showed that the jet in question was actually a MiG-29 undergoing maintenance. The dark patches Pakistan interpreted as burn marks were consistent with soot from regular engine testing.

She asked whether it is not responsibility of the PM, the Home Minister, the Defence Minister, and the National Security Advisor to ensure people's security. 'Did the government not know thousands of tourists go to Baisaran Valley… why there was no security there? Why were they left at God's mercy? Was no government agency in the know that such a dastardly terror attack is going to happen and a plot is being hatched in Pakistan," she asked. 'It is a big failure of our government and intelligence agencies. Who will take responsibility of this? Has anyone resigned? They keep talking about past but who will answer about what is happening in present," she said. The Wayanad MP also accused the Central government of consistently evading questions, saying it shows no sense of accountability to the people. 'The truth is that they have no place for the public in their heart. For them, everything is politics, publicity," she claimed.

Op Sindoor Debate: Tharoor, Tewari out as Cong picks new speakers
New Delhi:Congress leaders Shashi Tharoor and Manish Tewari, who were part of the delegations India sent to partner countries to highlight its stand against cross-border terrorism, would not be among Congress speakers during the debate on Operation Sindoor in the Lok Sabha, sources said. The sources said while Manish Tewari had sent a request to the party to speak during the debate, Tharoor apparently conveyed unwillingness as his stance during the visit abroad of the delegation would be at variance with the party's strong stance against the government on aspects related to the military operation to hit target infrastructure in Pakistan and PoJK. Tharoor led one of the all-party delegations. Sources said the party has picked up some other leaders who will represent it during the 16-hour debate. Rahul Gandhi, who is Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, spoke on Tuesday.

Terrorists involved in Pahalgam eliminated: Shah
