Revlon's silky, universally flattering Rum Raisin lip balm is just $9
In December, Revlon reintroduced Super Lustrous Glass Shine Balm in five returning shades and added five newbies, each in a fresh white case. Better yet, as the brand explains, the balm is now 40% more hydrating. Hyaluronic acid, aloe and a bit of rose quartz are responsible for the boost.
The hues were chosen to flatter a wide variety of skin tones, but the hottest shade of the bunch is Rum Raisin. The nourishing tinted balm is a subtle, shiny take on its vampy cult-classic sister lipstick.
The viral star is having a serious moment on TikTok too. One fan noted: "Everyone I see use this color looks absolutely beautiful wearing it." After testing it, they added: "Wow. It is very pigmented and absolutely beautiful. I definitely see that shine, that glassy finish. ... I need to go back and get more colors. ... It's super hydrating on the lips."
The reviews are still rolling in, but this lip balm is catching on. Some shoppers even say it reminds them of Clinique's iconic Black Honey.
"This is a beautiful lipstick balm hybrid. Nice color payoff, super shiny, no smell or taste," said one fan. "Very comfortable on my lips and does feel nourishing. Loving the Rum Raisin color, a red-plum-brown. Compares to Clinique Black Honey... but [Revlon's] Rum Raisin is better in my opinion because the color payoff is faster to achieve and more shiny and just feels so much more nourishing on my lips."
Another five-star beauty buff wrote, "It's very hydrating. The color is deep, yet it's light on the lips. It sort of hugs your lips ... doesn't feel as though it's going to come off quickly. It has a classy, elegant shine. I'm a huge fan."
"Super hydrating and glossy," said a third. "I got the Rum Raisin. It looks shiny with good pigmentation on colored skin. Super recommended product for all skin tones. It's just beautiful, balmy and shiny on my brown skin."
This even-handed reviewer called it the "best everyday lipstick" but saw room for improvement with staying power: "This lipstick just glides on my lips beautifully, does not accentuate dry patches or lines. The color will disappear after eating, so touch-ups are required during the day; it does not last super long."
The reviews quoted above reflect the most recent versions at the time of publication.

'Sex and the City' fans celebrate, mourn ending of 'And Just Like That...' spinoff
"I know this season has been a trainwreck overall, but why do I feel sad?" TikTok creator Kayla Charisse said in a video on Friday, Aug. 1. Carrie Bradshaw will soon be penning her last column, and fans are sharing mixed reactions. The "Sex and the City" spinoff, "And Just Like That...," will end following the Season 3 finale, executive producer Michael Patrick King wrote in a social media statement on Aug. 1. The series premiered in 2021, 17 years after "Sex and the City" concluded in 2004. "I wanted this show to run until all the characters were in assisted living and retirement communities in West Palm Beach," one Instagram user commented on King's statement, followed by a crying emoji. King said while writing the last episode of "And Just Like That...," he felt it was a "wonderful place to stop." In a lengthy Instagram post, Parker shared her passion for the series and, of course, her beloved character, who worked as a newspaper columnist and overall fashion enthusiast. "Carrie Bradshaw has dominated my professional heartbeat for 27 years. I think I have loved her most of all," Parker wrote. And just like that, it's over: 'And Just like That' fans spot major Season 3 plot hole When does 'And Just Like That...' Season 3 end? The two-part finale of "And Just Like That..." will air on Aug. 7 and Aug. 14 on HBO Max. 'We don't want it to end' Since its first airing in 2021, "And Just Like That..." has received widespread criticism. Fans say the characters have strayed too far from their original selves (despite the once 30-somethings now being in their 50s), the plot is inconsistent, and overall, the spinoff relies far too heavily on nostalgia. In the most recent season, fans grew upset when a friend of the main cast, Lisa Todd Wexley (played by Nicole Ari Parker), called Charlotte (Kristen Davis) to inform her that her father had died suddenly from a stroke. But Wexley had already informed her friends in Season 1 that her father had died the previous year. In the comment section of King's statement, fans said the "Sex and the City" gals deserved more. "We don't want it to end," one Instagram user commented. "We want it to be better." Others were a bit more strongly worded with their feedback. "And just like that, we are being released from this hostage, hate-watch situation," TikTok creator Sabrina Bendory said in a video posted on Friday, Aug. 1. "This is not surprising because the writers clearly have no idea how to write for these characters anymore. Maybe once upon a time they did, but they have no idea now." 'And Just Like That...": Sarah Jessica Parker speaks out in emotional message about 'AJLT' ending Fans share distress over story's end Not all fans have been unhappy with "And Just Like That..." though, and they took to social media to share their mutual heartbreak. "I know this season has been a trainwreck overall, but why do I feel sad?" TikTok creator Kayla Charisse said in a video on Friday, Aug. 1. "Like, what are we going to hate watch together every Thursday? And it just finally started getting good. The bar was in hell but like, I really enjoyed last night's episode. The term bittersweet comes to mind." Viewers also expressed their sadness in the comments of King's social media statement. "It's the end of an era all over again," one Instagram user commented, referencing the "Sex and the City" finale from 2004. Dog Finds Out They Skipped Starbucks—His No Pup Cup Reaction Says It All
Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. A golden retriever's glaring side-eye is sparking laughter among viewers online, after his disappointed reaction to missing out on a Starbucks pup cup went viral. Beau, a golden retriever in California, was captured on video by his owner sitting in the passenger seat of a car, visibly sulking. In the short TikTok clip, Beau stares ahead, refusing to look at his owner, before glancing back with unmistakable judgment in his eyes. An overlaid caption on the video added more context: "Someone's very upset we passed Starbucks without stopping for a pup cup." The post, shared to TikTok by @_beauthegoldenboy on July 30, has racked up more than 2.8 million views and over 609,000 likes to date. It has left viewers on the platform in stitches over Beau's dramatic display of canine disappointment. "His side eye! Don't worry he got his pup cup!" the video's caption added. A pup cup is a small, dog-friendly treat typically offered at coffee chains like Starbucks—usually a serving of whipped cream in an espresso-sized cup. While not officially on the menu, many locations provide them for free upon request, making them a popular ritual among dog owners during drive-thru visits. The treat is often shown in social media videos, with countless clips showing eager dogs lighting up at the sight of their pup cup, cementing its place as a beloved indulgence in the pet community. The brief video quickly struck a chord with TikTok users, who were quick to comment on Beau's expressive reaction. Several jokingly jumped to his support, pressuring his owner to get him the treat. "Better go back for a pup cup," a third viewer commented. "Hey, I don't like that," another commenter said. "Turn around." "Go back and get this baby a pup cup," one TikToker wrote. "When my [boyfriend] says no to a Starbucks," another said. "This face could ask me to commit wire fraud, and I would have a hard time saying no," a commenter said. "If you didn't turn around for a pup help me dog," said one commenter. "I would fall for that every time," another added.
