Having dismantled the LaLiga giants 4-0 in Munich, Jupp Heynckes' men dispelled any hopes of a comeback with a rampant 3-0 win. All the goals came in the second half with Arjen Robben and Thomas Müller's strikes coming either side of a Gerard Piqué own goal.
The 7-0 aggregate win is the biggest semi-final win in the post-1992 Champions League era, and only topped once ever over the 70 years of the competition's history.

Bayern went onto win the famous trophy at Wembley, with Robben scoring a late winner in an all-German affair with Borussia Dortmund, which numbed the pain of their final loss a year before and completed a stunning treble.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Kyle Schwarber hit his 43rd homer, a tiebreaking, three-run shot in the seventh inning, and the Philadelphia Phillies beat the Washington Nationals 6-2 on Friday night to snap a three-game skid. Bryce Harper followed Schwarber with a drive over the center-field fence, the sixth time this season the Phillies have homered back-to-back. Both ex-Nats were cheered by a pro-Philly crowd of 35,143, and Schwarber got 'M-V-P!' chants when he batted in the ninth. Phillies ace Zack Wheeler was limited to five innings for the second consecutive start. He allowed two runs on four hits, including the third career homer by Nationals rookie Daylen Lile. Tanner Banks (4-2) pitched a scoreless sixth. Gore settled down after a rocky first inning that included an RBI double by Harper. He pumped his fist and yelled after he fanned Harrison Bader to end the sixth with the game tied at 2-all. Riley Adams led off the Nationals' fifth with a walk and the 263-pound catcher caught Wheeler by surprise by stealing his first base of the season. But Wheeler retired the next three batters to keep it tied. Kelsey Plum clarifies crack about Caitlin Clark's team at WNBA All-Star Game: 'I made a bad joke'
The WNBA All-Star Game made headlines last month when every player donned a "Pay Us What You Owe Us" T-shirt before the game in a show of solidarity as CBA negotiations drag on. Then Kelsey Plum generated controversy after the game. Speaking to reporters in the wake of a 151-131 win for her Team Collier side, Plum mentioned that "Zero members of Team Clark were very present" for the meeting. She treated it as a joke, laughing with teammate Sabrina Ionescu who sardonically added, "That really needed to be mentioned." She then conceded it might not have been the best-timed joke given the gravity of the situation, lamenting the backlash's effect on the conversation: "I made a bad joke. I made a really bad joke ... And I should have — like, hindsight's 20/20, because of the shirts, because of the fans — I should have known it was a way more serious moment than a typical All-Star Game, because I went into that press conference very, like, happy-go-lucky we won, you know? Had a great weekend, my family's here, it was just a great time. "The questions came in, and it was like, 'CBA, this, this, this.' Honestly. Harry Kane torn on what his favorite Bayern Munich goal has been so far
Ever since joining Bayern Munich from Tottenham Hotspur in the summer of 2023, Harry Kane has gone on to tally 85 goals and 26 assists from a total of 96 appearances across all competitions. He finally broke the club title duck last season by winning the Bundesliga title with Bayern and securing a second consecutive Torjägerkanone after finishing with 26 league goals. Despite have lost out to what was an incredibly impressive Bayer Leverkusen side under Xabi Alonso in the 2023/24 season, Kane had one of the best scoring seasons of his life, having netted 36 league goals and 44 across all competitions. Case in point, Kane has had absolutely zero difficulty transitioning from the Premier League to the Bundesliga and he has casually set scoring records in his first two seasons with the German Rekordmeister, though he's still out for Robert Lewandowski's single season Bundesliga record of 41 goals. Of the 85 goals that Kane has scored for Bayern, there have been some absolute beauties as well as match winners, momentum shifters, and goals with his right foot, left foot, and head. On the striker's Cleats Club app (via @iMiaSanMia), the England skipper answered the question of what his favorite Bayern goal is thus far that he's scored, and the striker couldn't decidec from two that stick out from the rest for him. 'I'd say it's between two. The halfway line goal against Darmstadt and my third goal against Augsburg, where Leon played it over the top and I took my touch in the air and then headed it home. Technically it was probably one of the best goals I've scored in my career. So yeah probably between these two,' Kane explained. The pair of goals are certainly worthy of being in his top 10 highlight reel, at least for his Bayern career so far, and they'll both go down in the annals of Bundesliga history. The halfway goal scored against Darmstadt in the 2023/24 season rivals David Beckham's infamous half-field strike against Wimbledon back in 1996, but Kane was, without a trace of doubt, several steps further back than Beckham was when he struck the ball. At the tie, Kane's wonder strike was one of three that he scored in Bayern's 8-0 routing of Darmstadt, who are back in the Bundesliga this season. For the goal against Augsburg from last season, Kane essentially did his best impression of the Bundesliga logo to take a touch to control the ball before calmly heading it past keeper Nediljko Labrović. What made that goal all the more special for Kane was that it completed his hat-trick on that particular evening.
