Chicago Cubs broadcast leaves viewers stunned as Justin Turner is seen engaging in lewd celebration

Chicago Cubs fans were stunned on Thursday night as their team's home broadcast showed Justin Turner engaging in an extremely lewd celebration. Turner, 40, did not appear in the game for Chicago but was dubbed the 'Fan of the Game' by Marquee Sports Network, as they showed a clip of him celebrating with outfielder Seiya Suzuki. But the veteran Turner's cheers were from from typical, as the infielder was actually seen wearing a pair of fake testicles as he jumped up and down. The 2020 World Series champion smiled wide as he pumped his arms in the air while wearing the bizarre item, and fans couldn't believe that Marquee aired the NSFW moment. 'I was like is the camera guy blind or did he do it on purpose,' one fan asked on X, including a laughing-crying emoji in their post. 'Broadcast got some balls to show that,' a second joked. Suzuki rounds the bases after hitting a home run in the bottom of the sixth inning 'For most men, it's the simple things,' a third added. And a fourth said: 'Did we just win it all?' According to the New York Post, broadcasters Boog Sciambi and Jim Deshaies went silent for about 30 seconds afterwards as they seemingly realized what had happened on the broadcast. Nonetheless, it was a positive night for the Cubs as they beat the Pirates 3-2 to move to 42-27 on the year. Turner, in his 17th MLB season, has played a reserve role for the red-hot Cubs this season, only appearing in 38 games. In 110 plate appearances, he's hitting .213 with 11 RBIs and one home run. The Cubs have three more games against Pittsburgh this weekend before they'll welcome the Brewers to town.

Taylor Swift fans beg Travis Kelce to cover up as he nearly repeats wardrobe malfunction on date night

Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift stole the show at the Stanley Cup on Thursday night but there was one moment where even the Swifties feared seeing a little too much of the NFL star. The power couple are spending time in Florida while Kelce is getting in shape for the upcoming NFL season. But they took some time for themselves on Thursday night with a surprise appearance as the Panthers lost a breathtaking game 5-4 to the Edmonton Oilers, who tied the series at 2-2. Swift, 35, stunned in her elegant sweatsuit while the Chiefs star turned up in a Kansas City red sweater and shorts which, in the eyes of some fans watching from home, were a little too short. At one stage during the game, cameras zoomed in on the couple deep in conversation in their VIP suite, fans feared Kelce was going to endure a wardrobbe malfunction he infamously endured once before in an interview with Andrew Santino. 'Travis please close your legs I feel anxious,' one Swftie wrote, resharing the clip. Another said: 'I DIDNT WANNA BE THE ONE TO SAY IT but holy hell the manspreading. I'm stressing for him.' A different fan said: 'She looks amazing here. So much so that I didn't even notice his potential wardrobe malfunction.' It isn't the first time Kelce has been under a bit of extra scrutiny for his short shorts. Before he started dating Swift, Kelce endured the same fashion faux-pas in an interview on his friend Santino's podcast. Santino recalled the incident during his 2024 New Heights appearance, saying: 'We set up [my podcast] at the crib because we were moving, and so it was kind of a tight squeeze and the cameras and the angles, all this stuff. 'And my editor calls me, and he's like, "Bro, I don't know how to tell you this, but Travis was falling out of his shorts.... his boys were sliding out". 'And I was like, 'Oh, no.' And he goes, 'Do you wanna, like, call him and reshoot it?' I said, 'Just put a Kansas City Chiefs logo over his package whenever it falls out.' 'I didn't have my Tommy John's on,' an amused Kelce joked to Santino about the incident. And true to his word, Santino broadcast the 2020 interview with the Chiefs logo protecting Travis. After nearly retiring after the Chiefs lost the Super Bowl to the Philadelphia Eagles in February, Kelce is returning for at least one more season with the Chiefs in the NFL. They begin their 2025 campaign in Brazil, against the Los Angeles Chargers in Sao Paulo on September 5. Reports this week have said that Swift is more excited than ever for the football season to begin. It is the first time she can follow Kelce without tour dates to play since they started dating in September 2023.
