The Sun told how Kate decided to skip his wedding to Stavros Agapiou on Saturday after learning her former pal, PR Fran Cutler, was on the guest list.
The 51-year-old British icon was lined up as a bridesmaid, alongside Towie star Gemma Collins and actress Claire Sweeney.
Kate and Fran got to know each other in the 1990s when Fran would plan parties for Jude Law and Sadie Frost — who were good pals with Kate.
But their high-profile friendship ended in 2018, after Fran was said to have accidentally sent Kate a photo of her with a critical comment.
A source said: 'Kate snubbing Fat Tony's big day was the talk of the wedding.
'He wanted to have Kate there.
'But after she found out Fran was going, she said she couldn't make it.
'Tony is said to have known for a while that Kate wouldn't be going if Fran was.
'She was really missed and the guests were talking about it."
Also seen at Sam's star-packed party were designer Stella McCartney, beauty tycoon Charlotte Tilbury, telly presenters Davina McCall and AJ Odudu and former EastEnders star Patsy Palmer.

ITV The Chase star Bradley Walsh opens up on being 'sacked' from role

Our community members are treated to special offers, promotions and adverts from us and our partners. You can check out at any time. More info Treasured TV presenter Bradley Walsh marked his 65th birthday this week, but despite hints at "slowing down", his busy schedule shows no signs of letting up. Walsh is a staple on British television, hosting popular shows such as 'The Chase', 'Gladiators', and 'Blankety Blank', as well as travelling the country with his son Barney in 'Breaking Dad'. However, before becoming a household name, Walsh began his career as a Rolls Royce apprentice jet engineer and even had a brief stint as a footballer with Brentford FC, until an injury cut his playing days short. Walsh's foray into show business began as a Pontins bluecoat entertainer, giving him his first taste of life on stage. However, his natural prankster tendencies, which often landed him in hot water at school and in previous jobs, ultimately led to him being sacked from this role. In an interview with earlier this year, Walsh recalled: "Once I left that to get into the entertainment industry and become a blue coat, I got sacked from being the bloke that was messing around. I thought that was the job! In the end I thought to myself, why don't I just get paid for messing around?". Post-Pontins, Walsh carved a career in stand-up comedy and remarked: "That was a very conscious decision. So, I've got myself a routine together," discussing his approach to humour. Reflecting on his style, he commented, "I was a very physical comic, bit like Norman Wisdom, not so many jokes. I was a very physical comic. And that's where it all started.", reports the Mirror. Celebrated across Britain, Bradley Walsh has been a staple on TV screens for over two decades, mastering roles in comedy, acting, and presenting. His notable roles include Danny Baldwin on the renowned ITV soap 'Coronation Street', DS Ronnie Brooks in 'Law and Order: UK' and as Graham O'Brien in the beloved sci-fi series 'Doctor Who' broadcast on BBC One, according to Gloucestershire Live. In 2009, Bradley transitioned to game show hosting by taking over as the host of ITV's hit quiz show 'The Chase'. He narrated how he landed the gig while popping into ITV to enquire about hosting opportunities. During a nostalgic chat with the ex-head of daytime television, she revealed plans for a new quiz show, to which Bradley promptly gave his critique. Recalling their conversation, Walsh shared, "I took it away and I said 'Yes, this can work, this will work' and she said, 'Okay, well we're going to make a pilot' and I said, 'I'll do it for you' and she said, 'Yeah, but it's only an office run-through' and I said, 'I'll do it for you, don't worry'." In an interview on the Tommy Tiernan show last year, Bradley Walsh recalled helping launch the pilot and coming up with nicknames for The Chasers. Nearly 16 years on, Bradley's passion for The Chase remains strong, with no plans to leave the show. Speaking to the Daily Mail, he reflected on his time on the programme: "Until people say they've had enough and start switching off, I'll do it. We've had such an extraordinary time together. It's the best job in the world."

Coronation Street star Gareth Pierce ‘so sad' as he addresses exit of show icon

To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video Coronation Street is set to say goodbye to a legend in tonight's episode as Eileen Grimshaw (Sue Cleaver) leaves the cobbles behind after 25 years. When I caught up with Gareth Pierce, who plays Todd Grimshaw in the ITV soap, at the British Soap Awards last weekend, he opened up about Sue's departure, telling me it was 'so sad'. 'We're hugely going to miss Sue,' he admitted. 'She's brilliant. Eileen is such an iconic character. 'But I think she's also a brilliantly equipped actress to see what else is out there. I think it's been a burning desire of Sue's for a while. I think she'll be brilliant in whatever she does.' Gareth clearly has fond memories of the actress, as he shared how welcoming she was during his audition process. 'Sue's amazing and she really welcomed me in, as well. I screen-tested with Sue as well as with Dan Brocklebank and Peter Ash when I was coming in and that was probably one of the things that got me the job was that they both treated it as we were just filming those scenes by that stage. 'I was so lucky that Sue was so generous that we fell into the mother/son dynamic very easily. That's testament to her as much as anything that I did.' As well as Eileen's exit, Gareth has promised 'lots to come' for Todd in the coming weeks. Viewers have seen him find love with Theo Silverton (James Cartwright) this year – though that has come with some obstacles. More Trending 'There's baggage that comes with Theo and that's already becoming apparent,' Gareth pointed out. 'The small matter of being married, the small matter of having two kids. There's been already some obstacles, even prior to finding out about the conversion therapy stuff. 'That's the thing, the stakes are quite high immediately because of what Theo is potentially giving up for the relationship, but also because of what Todd is putting on the relationship as well. The stakes are high for Todd because he actually really wants this one to work. There's lots to come.' View More » Will Todd and Theo's relationship work out, or is Todd set for further heartbreak? EastEnders confirms end of an era as huge change is confirmed

It's the end of an era in EastEnders next week, and a change in the BBC soap's credits will reflect the change. I am, of course, referring to the departure of much-celebrated Executive Producer Chris Clenshaw. The 38 year old TV boss announced he was stepping down from the show last year, having sailed the broadcaster's flagship programme out of murky waters and into an era of unmissable viewing. Fans were naturally devastated, given he was instrumental in some of the greatest plots we've seen in years – from The Six's involvement in Keanu Taylor's (Danny Walters) murder, to Phil Mitchell's (Steve McFadden) recent mental health crisis. There was also Cindy Beale's (Michelle Collins) return from the 'dead' after 25 years, two Mitchell flashback episodes and the recent 40th anniversary live episode. He created the Knights; the first Black and dual heritage family to run a pub on any UK soap, headed up by Colin Salmon, and has brought back fan favourites including Adam Woodyatt, Thomas Law, Jacqueline Jossa, Anita Dobson, Angela Wynter and Patsy Palmer. And what a way to end his tenure – last night's British Soap Awards saw EastEnders pick up 8 gongs, including Best British Soap, outperforming their rivals. Ben Wadey, former Commissioning Editor at Channel 4, will be taking over the role. He's no stranger to Albert Square, having worked on the 35th anniversary and also in the studio next door – as Story Producer for the final series of Holby City. Chris' final episode will air on Friday, June 13, with Ben's first episode airing the following Monday, June 16. Speaking about his new role as Executive Producer, Ben Wadey said: 'I'm thrilled to be returning to EastEnders at such an exciting time for the show. 'Having grown up watching and loving EastEnders, it sparked my passion for television, and I feel I've known the residents of Walford my entire life – so to lead this iconic BBC soap into its next chapter is a true privilege. 'I can't wait to collaborate with the exceptional team at EastEnders and build on Chris Clenshaw's brilliant work to deliver unmissable stories to fans – both those who have been watching for years and those just discovering Albert Square.' Speaking of his decision to leave, Chris added: 'As a proud EastEnders fan, it has been the honour of my life to be its custodian. It has meant everything to me, and I've given Walford my all. 'I made the tough decision that I would step down after the 40th anniversary many months ago – to keep EastEnders creatively refreshed as it's a show that needs to constantly evolve. After what will be three years at the helm and leading the team through its milestone celebrations, the time feels right that I hand over the keys to The Queen Vic. 'Elstree holds a special place in my heart. My special thanks go to the sensational EastEnders cast and crew that I'm incredibly proud to have led over the past few years, and who have provided me with unwavering support. 'Their commitment, passion and talent has inspired me every day, and I am so grateful to them and proud of everything that we've achieved together. More Trending 'EastEnders has been the highlight of my career and I have loved every minute of it, but it's time for change, and for a new chapter, and I'm delighted to be staying within BBC Studios Drama Productions. 'I'm pleased to be passing the show on to Ben Wadey. I'm confident that, under him, EastEnders will continue to thrive, and I wish him the very best as it is without doubt the best job in telly and I hope he enjoys the ride just as much as I have. Thank you, EastEnders – for everything.' After departing EastEnders, Chris will continue working for BBC Studios Drama Productions.
