Tonight's second semi-final will see 16 acts take to the stage at Eurovision, which is being held this year in Basel, Switzerland.
Once they have all performed, votes will be thrown open and 10 will be picked to go through to Saturday night's Grand Final 2025.
The UK is one of 'the big five' that has already made it through.
Sharing their thoughts online, Eurovision fans have scrutinised the 16 semi-final acts and 'worked out' who is going to go.
One person, who was in the audience at Tuesday night's first semi-final, said on Reddit: "Having been to the show last night, this is what I'm expecting.
"Likely not qualifying... Denmark (looks a little dated as well as she sings). Ireland (she sounded very nervous and it doesn't quite work imo).
"Montenegro (Greece and Israel were better and the recap is bad).
"Georgia (the song isn't good enough even if she sang it well, it was her birthday today!)."
Another agreed on two nations, saying: "I'm gonna put my prediction here too so I can link the comment after tonight and show everyone how right I was.
Katie Price reveals huge Eurovision 'regret' and admits she 'hated' the contest after years of ridicule
"Pretty sure they're out: Montenegro, Georgia."
Fearing the worst for Ireland, a third wrote: "I love Ireland, but I am bracing myself for a NQ."
And someone else added: "NQ for sure is Montenegro and Georgia. And Ireland. (One I truly dislike)."
A fourth, meanwhile, added: "All I want is Ireland, Lithuania, and Australia qualifying and I'll be happy.
"I think Lithuania and Australia have pretty good chances but nervous about Ireland's slightly negative perception online."
The nations performing in Thursday night's second semi-final are; Australia, Montenegro, Australia, Ireland, Latvia, Armenia and Austria.
They will be joined by Greece, Lithuania, Malta, Malta, Georgia, Denmark, Czechia, Luxembourg, Israel, Serbia and Finland.
Australia's entry Go-Jo will be opening the semi-final with his song Milkshake Man. Finland's Erika Vikman will be closing the show with her song ICH KOMME.
The UK's entry, girl group Remember Monday, has already made it through to the Grand Final on Saturday night, along with this year's acts from France, Germany, Italy and Spain.
Remember Monday will be performing in tonight's semi-final but not competing, along with French singer Louane and German duo Abor & Tynna.

Doctor Who star spoke at pro-Palestinian protest
Doctor Who star Ncuti Gatwa spoke at a pro-Palestinian demonstration days after pulling out of Eurovision hosting duties. Gatwa, who played the 15th Doctor, was among a host of celebrities to speak at the event outside Parliament last month. Days earlier, the 32-year-old actor had unexpectedly pulled out as the UK's Eurovision spokesman, leading some fans to speculate that he had done so because Israel qualified for the final. Sophie Ellis-Bextor, the Murder on the Dancefloor singer and BBC Radio 2 DJ, took his place. The BBC offered no explanation for the last-minute change at the time, other than to blame 'unforeseen circumstances'. At the pro-Palestinian demonstration on May 29, Gatwa was among high-profile figures who stood in front of a banner that read 'Gaza: Actions Not Words'. The charity Choose Love organised the rally, in which the names of 15,613 Palestinian children killed in the conflict were read out. Steve Coogan, Chris O'Dowd, Dawn O'Porter, Juliet Stevenson and Stephen Kapos, a Holocaust survivor, joined Gatwa to take turns reading every name, a process that took more than 18 hours. Gatwa has previously spoken out against the Israeli government's actions in Gaza and shown his support for Palestinians on social media. The rally also came days before it was revealed he was being replaced as the Doctor in the final episode of his second series. In a surprise twist, his character regenerated into Rose Taylor, played by Billie Piper. The move brought his reign as the Time Lord to an end after just 18 months. He was the first Doctor to be played by an openly queer or black actor in the show's 62-year history. The BBC and Gatwa's representatives were approached for comment.

Sabrina Carpenter knew you'd hate her kinky album cover - that's the point
When Sabrina Carpenter revealed the cover for her upcoming album Man's Best Friend and sparked enormous backlash, she knew exactly what she was doing. The image, which depicts Carpenter on her knees, in a short black dress and heels, holding the leg of a suited man as he yanks her hair, is shocking fans who expect female empowerment from the star. On Instagram, @edersoaresx wrote, 'Lol this cover art is so disgusting. As a fan I don't like it :(.' Reddit user Potential-Friend-133 said, 'The first image is very triggering for me. I hate this. A LOT.' But the outrage might be precisely the point. Haven't we learned over and over again that Sabrina is an expert in shaping a narrative? Isn't the entire 'Sabrina-verse' built around men being little more than background noise – accessories to the real story? Why have we stopped trusting her when she's never led us astray before? Carpenter, who has spent the past year redefining pop stardom with viral hits like Espresso and the biting Please Please Please, isn't new to irony. She has emerged as a master of blending bubblegum visuals with sharp, subversive lyrics, often making herself the punchline to highlight something more profound. Even a quick glance at Carpenter's hyper-feminine aesthetic reveals just how political her whole persona is. The exaggerated lashes, the glossy lips, the babydoll dresses – it's not just pop star glam; it borders on camp. In fact, it's practically drag. And that matters because drag, at its core, is about performance of gender, of beauty, and of power. When Carpenter leans this hard into a cartoonishly femme persona, she's not just embodying traditional femininity, she's performing it to the point of parody. It becomes a kind of satire: A knowing wink at how femininity is constructed, consumed, and commodified. To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video Her latest single, Manchild, already signals that she knows exactly what she's doing. She called it 'the embodiment of a loving eye roll,' a phrase that could just as easily apply to the album cover. In this light, the Man's Best Friend imagery doesn't read as an endorsement of submissiveness, but a satirical exaggeration of it. The title alone, paired with the shot of a dog tag reading 'Man's Best Friend,' is too on-the-nose to be sincere. It's a visual joke, a commentary on how women are often treated as loyal accessories in relationships, or worse, as pets. That said, the discomfort some fans feel isn't unfounded – even satire can sting, especially in the current political climate. Reddit user MuchSeaworthiness167 wrote: 'I know it's probably going to be ironic, but right now there's no context… And this year of rights being walked back, the comatose woman being forced to be an incubator, a huge increase in pregnant mortality rates, the rise of trad wife content, all of it. It's just like girl. Time and place.' But perhaps 'time and place' is precisely what Carpenter is reflecting on. We are, after all, living in a cultural moment where women's rights are being clawed back in the US, where the UK is aggressively redefining legal womanhood, where the 'trad wife' aesthetic is glamorised on TikTok, and where female autonomy is still under threat. In that sense, the image feels less like cheap shock tactics and 'sex sells' marketing, and more like a mirror – one that reflects a society that still enjoys seeing women on their knees. Is it kind of hard to look at? Yes, but then so is the grim reality of rising inceldom among young men, and so are the terrifying statistics about femicide in the UK. With this album cover, Carpenter steps beyond mainstream pop's comfort zone and into the realm of art that risks being unpalatable in order to be unignorable . She's trading likability for impact, aesthetics for meaning, and in doing so, she's sending a clear message: Being a woman – especially a visible, powerful one – is inherently political. So if she's going to make music about womanhood, she's not going to avoid the politics that come with it. She's going to lean in. And Carpenter isn't the first to use provocative imagery to make this point. Madonna spent her career turning religious and sexual imagery into social commentary. Fiona Apple's Criminal video featured her looking strung out and half-naked to critique the male gaze. More recently, Doja Cat's demonic visuals were misread as literal Satanism when they were really satirical jabs at parasocial fan culture and celebrity commodification. What Carpenter is doing may be closer to Lana Del Rey's now-infamous Norman F**ing Rockwell* era, where themes of self-destruction, co-dependency, and submission weren't endorsements but complex critiques. Lana was also called anti-feminist, until fans began unpacking how her portrayals of messy, broken femininity were actually layered and strategic, intended to make people reflect on their own relationships to these issues. More Trending And in Carpenter's case, the full context of the album (lyrics, videos, and rollout imagery) hasn't even arrived yet. And knowing her? We bet that image will make a whole lot more sense with more context. We may even get a reveal of who, exactly, is wearing the suit. If we assume Carpenter is in control (and there's little evidence to suggest otherwise: She's co-writing, co-producing, and curating this era with precision), then Man's Best Friend is not a regression: It's a political provocation. It's maybe even a trap, daring us to underestimate her. Got a story? Netflix users ‘cancel subscriptions' over ‘diabolical' update
Subscribers have been left fuming over Netflix's confusing new update Netflix users have been left outraged and confused by the streaming giant's latest update to its interface. Subscribers logging onto the service this week have discovered a new version of the app which has been rolling out globally since 19th May. The streamer promises to showcase 'better recommendations and an improved interface that highlights what matters most to you' with the new revamp. It includes a 'clean and modern' new design, alongside features such as personalised recommendations and improved shortcuts to fans' favourite titles. However, a substantial number of Netflix 's 300 million-strong userbase has taken to social media to slam the update, with some even promising to cancel their subscriptions. One X (formerly Twitter) user warned other subscribers: 'Netflix has destroyed the app. Worst UI redesign ever. Everyone needs to cancel.' Someone else fumed: 'netflix's update is diabolical where the hell is the coming soon section!!' Another posted: 'Whoever's job it was to update Netflix UI, I'm praying for a resignation in the coming weeks. IT LOOKS TERRIBLE.' And a fourth user wrote: '[...] the NEW Netflix Update has somehow made the UI like 10000x worse. 'It hurts my brain when I try and search new shows etc. Am I overreacting or do others not like the new UI?' Discussion continued over on Reddit where Netflix users were equally baffled by the change. One Redditor commented: 'It's awful. My TV updated to it automatically this week after putting off the update for ages, now it's a load of rubbish. Will be cancelling [my] subscription.' And another user agreed: 'It's soo dire. You can't find anything. 'It was so slick and easy to use before. Now it's soo clunky. I'm always willing to try new ideas, but this is a big step backwards.' They then admitted: 'Thinking I might actually now cancel my subscription.' Fans have even gone so far as to launch a petition demanding Netflix returns to the old interface. The description claims: 'The new layout only allows users to see a sparse selection of 3 or 4 titles per screen, compared to the previously user-friendly layout of 20 or more titles. 'This change not only limits variety and accessibility but also diminishes the ease-of-use Netflix was renowned for.' Netflix's chief product officer Eunice Kim explained the change back in May: 'We wanted to create an experience that was more flexible for our broad entertainment offerings, more intuitive and responsive to our members' needs, and capable of elevating the most thrilling moments on Netflix.' Plus, fans can now find more info about their favourite shows, from the synopsis and runtime to major award wins, its history in the streamer's Top 10 and the key cast. Netflix also maintains that it's still possible to search by genre and theme, and remind streamers that a welcome message should walk them through the changes when they log on.
