Porsha Williams gave some insight on The Real Housewives of Atlanta into when she found out her cousin, Londie Favors, had died.
On the episode from Sunday, June 29, Williams shared with co-star Phaedra Parks that Favors was on the phone with her sister Lauren when she died.

'Dealing with he loss of my cousin Londie… I'm going through a lot emotionally while being there for my family. She meant so much to all of us. So it's pretty difficult,' Williams said in a confessional.
In the scene at Parks' house, Lauren said, 'I'm just numb. We're like sisters. We grew up… we were babies together.'
'So you know they were on the phone,' Williams told Parks.
'She actually transionted while you were on the phone?' Parks asked Lauren.
'Yeah,' Lauren said.
In a confessional, Williams revealed, 'I was at work and I got some news that Londie was in distress and within an hour or two we had lost Londie. She was just the most giving person you could ever think of.'
Favors had been featured throughout the current season of RHOA, working closely with Williams, planning events around her brand, and assisting her in her multiple ventures. Williams' cousin was also featured on the RHOA spinoff Porsha's Family Matters, which ran for one season on Bravo in 2022.
'God has given us strength because He knows that her mom and sister wouldn't be able to do all this right now,' Williams said before mentioning she and her sister were planning Favors' funeral.
Favors died in August 2024, and in the previous episode, Williams told Parks she wouldn't be able to attend an event she had organized following news of her cousin.
'It just was so sudden — so difficult,' Williams said during a confessional. 'Londie was just the most giving person you could ever think of. [She was] a loyal person, the most creative with her company. She did so much for my grandfather's foundation. The most honest person you can ever think of. It's just a huge loss.'
The episode wraps up with a title card: 'In Loving Memory. Yolanda 'Londie' Favors. 1989-2024.'

Steven Spielberg Screens First Look at Secret Sci-Fi Film and It's Still a Mystery — GeekTyrant

Steven Spielberg just pulled the curtain back slightly on his upcoming untitled sci-fi film, but don't expect answers just yet. Last week at Universal Pictures' massive Commons facility, Spielberg unveiled the new 250-seat Steven Spielberg Theater, and to mark the occasion, he treated guests to the first-ever footage from his top-secret movie, and it definitely leans into his UFO roots, but it's still anyone's guess what the full story actually is. Reports say the footage was carefully curated to give just enough to stir excitement without revealing anything concrete. The scenes were moody, mysterious, and grounded, offering glimpses into a bigger sci-fi narrative that's being kept tightly under wraps. The footage 'didn't quite confirm an alien theme, though plenty of menacing figures in unmarked black cars were seen chasing Blunt (who appeared in several scenes as an everywoman in a rural area). 'In one sequence with Josh O'Connor, Blunt's busted sedan collides with a speeding train. She and O'Connor attempt an escape through the broken windshield as the vehicle gets chewed alive between screeching metal and the tracks. 'Eve Hewson and Coleman Domingo's characters weren't clearly defined in the footage, though they're on the business end of a cat-and-mouse game that explodes through farmhouses and terrorizes pedestrians. 'If we had to put money on it, Colin Firth is our bad guy. The Academy Award winner looks sinister and well-suited as a leader in some kind of underground workspace (one that resembles a NASA control room and the like).' The imagery and tone sparked speculation that the film could be a spiritual successor to E.T. or Close Encounters of the Third Kind , but nothing's confirmed. During the event, Spielberg emphasized he has no plans to retire. Writer David Koepp, who's wrote several Spielberg films, including Jurassic Park and War of the Worlds , had this to say about their latest collaboration: 'What he does so brilliantly is that he combines a vast spectacle with really honest, human emotion. Unlike, I think, any other director—it's a very emotional experience, this movie.' 'He was the most involved as he's been on any movie I've written for him to direct.' For now, we still don't know the film's title or plot, but Spielberg's track record, the cast, and the first teaser suggest we're in for something big, strange, and deeply human. Universal Pictures will release the film on June 12, 2026. Source: Variety

AHSOKA Star Ivanna Sakhno Teases Bigger, Deeper Season 2: 'We're in the Middle of Filming' — GeekTyrant

Ahsoka season 2 is officially in production, and according to star Ivanna Sakhno, fans are in for something much bigger. While details remain tightly under wraps (no surprise there, Sakhno offered a quick but promising update while speaking with GamesRadar+. 'You know, there's absolutely nothing that I can speak on at the moment, and I wish I could share with you something at least, because it's such an exciting time for us to be back together, and we're currently in the middle of filming it. 'All I can say is that it is bigger and even more in-depth, and I'm really excited for people to see it. It means the world.' It's been almost two years since Ahsoka Season 1 landed on Disney+, and since its January 2024 renewal, things have been quiet on the official front. That's only fueled more speculation among fans, especially after the cryptic, Mortis God-themed cliffhanger that left several characters, Sakhno's Shin Hati included, stranded on Peridea with uncertain futures. Shin was left behind by her master Baylan Skoll, who set off in pursuit of something tied to ancient Force mythology. In the final moments of Season 1, she aligns herself with a band of local marauders, suggesting a darker, more complex path might lie ahead. That path may also be more dangerous, considering the actor who plays her spent the break between seasons going full villain mode. Sakhno stars as AMELIA, a ruthless, militarized AI bot in M3GAN 2.0, and it sounds like the role pushed her into intense physical territory. "I had a wonderful, wonderful stunt team and personal trainer as well, who are very grounded people, and honestly work a lot with energy and being present in your own body. 'We did quite a bit of obviously, like Krav Maga and different styles of fighting. We also did Tai Chi and studied the ability to move your energy from one place to another in order to remain still." So, if you thought Shin Hati was a threat before, just wait. A lightsaber-wielding warrior trained in Krav Maga and energy flow sounds like someone Thrawn should be keeping tabs on. There's no official release date yet for Ahsoka Season 2.

US to revoke visas for Glastonbury band over anti-Israel chant

The United States said on Monday it was revoking visas for the British punk-rap group Bob Vylan, which led a chant at the Glastonbury festival calling for the death of the Israeli military. Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau said that the United States has 'revoked the US visas for the members of the Bob Vylan band in light of their hateful tirade at Glastonbury, including leading the crowd in death chants.' 'Foreigners who glorify violence and hatred are not welcome visitors to our country,' he posted on X. Bob Vylan, a London-based duo combining punk riffs and hip-hop delivery whose lyricism often tackles racism, led a chant of 'Death to the IDF,' the initials of the Israel Defense Forces, at the celebrated music festival. Prime Minister Keir Starmer condemned the group's 'appalling hate speech' and the BBC apologised for not pulling a livestream. The controversy comes after a protracted dispute over another act at Glastonbury, politically charged Belfast hip-hop group Kneecap, who sharply criticised Israel's actions in Gaza when performing in April at the Coachella festival in California. Glastonbury rebuffed pressure from Starmer to remove Kneecap from the roster, but the BBC did not stream Kneecap's performance. Both Kneecap and Bob Vylan, who also played Coachella, had dates scheduled for later this year in the United States.
