‘RHOA's Porsha Williams Says Cousin Londie Favors Died While On Phone With Sister Lauren: 'I Got Some News That Londie Was In Distress'
Porsha Williams gave some insight on The Real Housewives of Atlanta into when she found out her cousin, Londie Favors, had died. On the episode from Sunday, June 29, Williams shared with co-star Phaedra Parks that Favors was on the phone with her sister Lauren when she died. She meant so much to all of us. So it's pretty difficult,' Williams said in a confessional. In the scene at Parks' house, Lauren said, 'I'm just numb. We're like sisters. We grew up… we were babies together.' 'So you know they were on the phone,' Williams told Parks. 'She actually transionted while you were on the phone?' Parks asked Lauren. 'Yeah,' Lauren said. In a confessional, Williams revealed, 'I was at work and I got some news that Londie was in distress and within an hour or two we had lost Londie. She was just the most giving person you could ever think of.' Favors had been featured throughout the current season of RHOA, working closely with Williams, planning events around her brand, and assisting her in her multiple ventures. Williams' cousin was also featured on the RHOA spinoff Porsha's Family Matters, which ran for one season on Bravo in 2022. 'God has given us strength because He knows that her mom and sister wouldn't be able to do all this right now,' Williams said before mentioning she and her sister were planning Favors' funeral. Favors died in August 2024, and in the previous episode, Williams told Parks she wouldn't be able to attend an event she had organized following news of her cousin. 'It just was so sudden — so difficult,' Williams said during a confessional. 'Londie was just the most giving person you could ever think of. [She was] a loyal person, the most creative with her company. She did so much for my grandfather's foundation. The most honest person you can ever think of. It's just a huge loss.' On Friday, June 27, Bravo released the first sneak preview of the upcoming three-part reunion of the hit reality series. During the quick trailer, fans got a peek at how the women reacted to fellow castmate Eady's decision to skip the reunion. Towards the first half of the trailer, host Andy Cohen tells Porsha Williams, Phaedra Parks, Shamea Morton Mwangi, Kelli Ferrell, Angela Oakley and Cynthia Bailey, that 'Brit Eady has decided not to join us.' The clip then cuts to a shocked Ferrell, 40, who says, 'Wow,' while another woman is heard in the background saying, 'What?' Eady's decision to skip the reunion followed PEOPLE's reporting on Thursday, June 5, that she and Kenya Moore would not be attending, Eady on her own volition, while Moore, 54, was not invited by Bravo to participate. Moore was the longest running RHOA star when season 16 began filming back in April 2024. But her time in the season was cut short in June 2024, after she exposed sexually explicit photos presumed to be from Eady's past to guests at the opening of her Kenya Moore Hair Spa. She was suspended — and after an internal investigation — exited the series. On the same day as the reunion taping, Thursday, June 5, Eady, 37, addressed her decision not to attend the reunion on her Instagram Stories, alleging that the photos Moore shared a year ago weren't of her to begin with. 'I do not know who was in that photo, but upon seeing it for the first time recently, I now know it was not me,' Eady continued in her statement. 'I look forward to seeking accountability and moving past this dark part of my life." During the reunion trailer, Williams, 44, seemingly acknowledges the incident and says, 'Kenya had gotten information from a current housewife about Brit's past.' Cohen, 57, then turns his attention to Ferrell and asks, 'Did you send her the pictures?' His question left Ferrell shocked and speechless. The trailer then cuts to other moments that tease tensions between Parks, 51, and Oakley, as well as Williams and Morton Mwangi, 43, which prompts Williams to leave the reunion set. Kenya Moore Reacts to RHOA All-Time Low Ratings After Phaedra Parks Returns
Fans were hoping that Season 16 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta would be a return to the good old days. Porsha Williams returned to claim her peach, and Shamea Morton stepped into the spotlight. However, Kenya Moore exited RHOA after allegedly showing images of co-star Brit Eady performing a sex act. It was just wrong on so many levels. Kenya retaliated after Brit allegedly said that she had a gun. So, Phaedra Parks returned for the second half of the season. Well, while some fans are enjoying the show, the ratings are telling a different tale. After Kenya twirled off the show, she hasn't been quiet about voicing her opinion. Her former friend, Cynthia Bailey, who confronted Kenya for showing the photos at her salon opening, has received plenty of shade. And now it looks like Phaedra, who has happily resumed her place on RHOA, is also a victim of the shade assassin. So, Bravo Ratings shared RHOA's ratings for Episode 12. It brought in 0.09 for the desirable 18-49 demographic. This was a series low for the peaches. And, of course, Kenya noticed. When The Bravo Shade Room shared the post on Instagram, Kenya liked it. She also added the double eye emoji to the comments. Yikes. Of course, this ratings slump could be due to many different factors. And Phaedra's return could still be positive for the show. As for Kenya's future on RHOA? While Cynthia is hoping that Kenya returns, it is unclear how Bravo and Kenya feel about it. 'Losing Kenya was hard for me because she's one of the best to ever do this reality TV thing. She's a phenomenal Housewife, and in time, I do think she will find her way back. Phaedra Parks Says RHOA Lost the ‘Fun' and She's Bringing It Back
Season 16 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta has been an improvement. The return of Porsha Williams and Cynthia Bailey in a friend capacity has helped elevate this season. In addition, Shamea Morton claimed her peach, which allowed her to finally step into the spotlight. Plus, Phaedra Parks is back, and she added an extra spark. Now, Phaedra is discussing Season 16 of RHOA and what she brought to the table. Phaedra isn't planning on turning in her peach anytime soon. This mortician, lawyer, and mom is planning to stay involved in the show for the 'long haul.' And she is making the most of the experience. 'I'm introducing what I think the series lost: fun, fabulousness, and just authentically enjoying yourself in life. I have several jobs, and I continue to expand my little empire,' Phaedra told OK!. 'So, my fortress is growing.' And seeing Phaedra and Porsha reunited once again as 'frick and frack' has been a hoot. 'Frick and frack is back. It's Phaedra 2.0,' she explained. 'I'm not with a crazy husband, and I got a new, young, and sparky boyfriend who's just cute.' She added of her sons Ayden and Dylan, 'My kids are at an age where they speak their minds, which I don't know if I enjoy that.' Phaedra teased that RHOA viewers will see her pre-teen son, Dylan, launch his own business. 'They're little entrepreneurs,' Phaedra stated. 'So, this season, you'll not only see me continuing to work my many jobs, but you'll see my youngest son launch his clothing line.' Meanwhile, shade assassin Kenya Moore shaded Phaedra amid reports that Episode 12's ratings hit a series low. Of course, Kenya quit the show during filming after she was suspended for allegedly showing photos of RHOA co-star Brit Eady performing a sexual act.
