This took place at her at her new home in Glasgow's East End and another property in Glenboig, Lanarkshire.

A separate charge of driving without insurance had a not guilty plea accepted by the Crown.
The court heard that Meldrum in a white Skoda Octavia was involved in a serious road traffic collision on March 23 this year.
Prosecutor Amy Clyne said: "This raised concern in relation to Meldrum driving as he was noted to be disqualified on February 18 2025 for 26 months."
CCTV inquiries then took place which showed that Meldrum drove on a number of occasions between the dates specified which included two on the same day.
Sheriff Mary Shields put Meldrum under a restriction of liberty order for four months at sentencing keeping him indoors between 7pm and 7am.
Meldrum was also ordered to do 147 hours of unpaid work and disqualified from driving for three years.

Clydebank man sent indecent messages to undercover cops

Andrew Beadle pleaded guilty to causing the three Police Scotland officers to view sexual communications and images in 2024. The 46-year-old admitted the first was between February 27 and March 5, and on June 28. The second between October 2 and 8. And the third was on October 8. They said they were a 13-year-old girl and the man sent an image of a penis. He asked for sexual images of herself, which the officer declined. The indecent messages continued and he sent four images of an erect penis and video of a man masturbating. In October, the second officer was pretending to be a 12-year-old girl. Beadle sent her sexual and indecent messages and two still images of genitals. The third officer also pretended to be a 12-year-old girl, and the man acknowledged her age. He sent two images of a penis and a video of two adults having sex. When he was arrested, he admitted sending images but "maintained he believed he was not communicating with children", heard the court. Defence solicitor Kenny McGowan said it was "certainly a matter of some gravity" and his client understood the process required of being registered as a sex offender. The Crown said they were applying for a Sexual Harm Prevention Order with eight conditions to monitor him. Sheriff John McElroy KC deferred sentence until September 8 for reports to be prepared. He said: "You don't need me to tell you you pleaded guilty to disgraceful offences. Be under no illusion you have a record and you know what's on your record. "There are two previous direct alternatives to custody. All options are available to me in terms of your offending here." Beadle was put on the sex offenders register in the interim.

Killer driver who took pal's life in crash had only passed test one day before & done doughnuts in car park

A TEEN motorist who passed his test the day before killing his friend in a car crash has admitted causing death by dangerous driving. Passenger Josh Atkins died in November 2023 when Corey Owen Cooper, then 17, lost control of the car after doing doughnuts in a car park. 3 3 Cooper had been speeding between 47mph and 53mph on 20mph roads in his grandfather's Fiat Grand Punto before the fatal crash in Sheffield. The teen pleaded guilty to causing death by dangerous driving and seriously injuring another passenger at a hearing in Sheffield Crown Court. Judge Jeremy Richardson KC released Cooper, now 19, on bail but warned him he faces jail on November 7. He said: "You will be sent into custody. The only issue for me to determine is for how long. There's also the question of disqualification. "In the interim, I will disqualify you from driving - that's to say you are not permitted by law to drive on public roads. "The likelihood is in fact almost an inevitability that you will be taken into custody. You have to prepare yourself for that." Prosecutor Ian West told the court Cooper only passed his driving test 24 hours before the crash. Mr West said: "He had driven the vehicle the day before, it belonged to his grandfather." Barristers representing Cooper are set to submit a basis of plea over the next week. It is understood to relate to Cooper's failure to note an error message which flashed up on the vehicle's "faulty ABS braking system". Josh's family and friends all celebrated the teen's short life with a charity walk through Hillsborough Park last November. Speaking at the time, Josh's auntie, Claire Chapman, said: "It was a great afternoon, even with the rain. "We all loved to see to see so many of Josh's friends turn out for him. "I think it was a day of remembrance and reflection rather than sadness." The two charities who benefited from the walk were The Donor Family Network, who support families of organ donors, and RoadPeace, a road crash victim awareness group. Josh's family announced that four people had benefited from Josh's organs which had been donated after his death. 3

Met volunteer officer had 12-year-old perform sex act in public, court told

Prosecutors said the 27-year-old, who was born a man named James Bubb but now identifies as a woman named Gwyn Samuels, asked one alleged victim to perform a sex act in public when she was 12 years old. The court heard the defendant was later forced to hurriedly pull their trousers up after a dog walker went past while the alleged victim performed the sex act. The alleged victim said in a statement to police she did not realise at the time that she was 'being groomed', prosecutor Richard Milne said. According to the first alleged victim, at the age of 13, 14 or 15, the pair met up where her virginity was taken by the defendant and she was choked so she could not speak. Mr Milne told the court the defendant and the alleged victims would be referred to by their biological sex throughout the trial when discussing the allegations. Amersham Law Courts heard that the defendant met the first alleged victim, a 12-year-old, in person at a Christian festival while working there as a steward, and told her they were in a relationship, despite her wearing a 'bracelet pass' for a child. In his opening to the jury on Monday, Mr Milne said the first alleged victim met the defendant on a website called Omegle. The court heard their communications became sexual around a month after first meeting online, with the alleged victim describing their relationship as a 'trauma bond'. After taking the first alleged victim's virginity, the defendant had sex with her on a number of occasions, the court heard. Mr Milne said: 'He would tell (the first alleged victim) that they enjoyed being raped, to which (they) replied no. 'The Crown says this defendant befriended and sexually assaulted (the first complainant) just before her 13th birthday.' He added that the defendant had sexual encounters with her when she was 13 to 15 years old, and then, after a gap, the prosecution says he raped her when she was 18 years of age. The defendant has denied one count of rape in relation to one complainant, and two counts of rape, two counts of sexual activity with a child, one count of assault of a child under 13 by penetration, one count of rape of a child under 13 and one count of assault by penetration in relation to the other complainant. All charges are alleged to have taken place between January 1 2018 to April 2 2024. The defendant, of High Street, Chesham, Buckinghamshire, denies all charges. The trial continues.
