Hero Glamour X: Check out the newest feature-packed offering of the 125cc segment
Hero MotoCorp has expanded its 125cc motorcycle lineup with the launch of the Glamour X. First introduced in 2005, the Glamour model has undergone several updates to keep pace with changing rider expectations, and it has built a customer base of over 8 million riders. The new Glamour X marks the next step in this journey, bringing in advanced technology and features not typically seen in the commuter motorcycle category. The Hero Glamour X 125 will be sold in two variants, Drum at ₹ 89,999 and Disc at ₹ 99,999 (both ex-showroom, Delhi). The bookings for the motorcycle have commenced and it will be available across Hero MotoCorp dealerships nationwide. The Glamour X 125 introduces several features that are new to the 125cc motorcycle segment. Among them are a ride-by-wire system for more precise throttle response, cruise control for highway rides, three riding modes (Eco, Road, and Power), and a panic brake alert system that warns trailing vehicles in case of sudden braking. It also debuts a low-battery kick-start system powered by Hero's AERA (Advanced Electronic Ride Assist) technology, claimed to be a first in the world for this segment. Visually, the motorcycle gets a sharper and more muscular design compared to the standard Glamour. It is equipped with Hero's signature 'H' full LED lighting setup, including a new headlamp, position lights, and LED tail lamp. Additionally, the Glamour also gets a TFT LCD for the vital information along with over 60 features. This screen offers Bluetooth connectivity and adds features such as turn-by-turn navigation, distance-to-empty, gear position indicator, and ambient light sensor. The Glamour X 125 is powered by a 124.7cc Sprint-EBT engine producing 11.4 bhp at 8,250 rpm. Hero says the engine uses a tuned cam profile and optimised gear ratios for quicker throttle response, while a balancer shaft and silent cam chain reduce noise and vibrations. The motorcycle also gets an updated exhaust system tuned for a deeper sound. The model has been designed with a wide handlebar and upright seating posture to reduce rider fatigue. It comes with a 790 mm seat height and 170 mm ground clearance. For pillion comfort, Hero has provided a larger seat, wider grab rail, and improved cushioning. Additional conveniences include an enclosed under-seat utility box with space for two mobile phones, a first-aid kit, and a tool kit, along with a 2A Type-C USB charging port. The Glamour brand has been one of Hero's long-standing products in the 125cc commuter segment. With the Glamour X 125, the company is targeting buyers who want more technology and features in a motorcycle that also serves daily commuting needs. It will sit alongside the company's other 125cc offerings, such as the Xtreme 125R and the Super Splendor, covering different priorities ranging from performance to fuel efficiency. In terms of competition, the new Glamour X 125 will go up against other popular models in the category, including the Honda SP125, TVS Raider, and Bajaj Pulsar NS125, all of which are strong contenders in the premium 125cc commuter and sporty commuter space.

Refreshed 2025 Indian Scout range to launch in India on August 25
Indian Motorcycles is gearing up to launch its refreshed 2025 Scout range in India on August 25, 2025. The announcement comes after the brand launched its updated heavyweight range, including the Chief, Chieftain, Challenger, and Roadmaster in June 2025. The Scout range will serve as the most accessible offering in the company's portfolio on our shores, catering to enthusiasts looking for an American-origin V-Twin cruiser with modern engineering wrapped in a classic design. Personalised Offers on Indian Scout Bobber Check Offers Check Offers The all-new Indian Scout range debuted globally earlier in 2024 and is slated to arrive in India on August 25(Indian Motorcycles) The Indian Scout was first introduced in 2014 and has since played an important role in the brand's global lineup. Positioned as one of the brand's entry-level models, the cruiser has been among its most successful offerings worldwide. Indian Scout: Design and Variants The Scout family carries the classic, laidback cruiser silhouette with a round headlamp, a stretched fuel tank, and a compact tail section. Depending on the variant, the styling carries subtle changes that set each model apart. While India is expected to get just two variants, the Indian Scout Classic and the Scout Bobber, there may be more on offer at the time of launch. The global Scout range includes three more variants, which include the Sport Scout, Super Scout, and the range-topping 101 Scout. With its wide range of styles, the Scout range appeals to a broad spectrum of riders, from those who prefer a laid-back cruiser to those looking for a more aggressive ride. Indian Scout: Engine and Hardware At the heart of the 2025 Scout range is a new 1,250 cc liquid-cooled V-twin engine, which has been reworked from the ground up. For 2025, the motor gets redesigned pistons, larger valves, and a few weight-saving changes, delivering between 105 hp and 111 hp depending on the variant. Peak torque stands at 108 Nm, promising strong low- and mid-range performance, typical of American cruisers. The Indian Scout employs a steel tube frame with an aluminium centrepiece and a new sub-frame. Braking duties are handled by a 298 mm disc at the front and rear across most variants, while the 101 Scout gets twin 320 mm discs for added stopping power. Wheel sizes vary by model, with the Scout Classic, Super Scout, and Scout Bobber using 16-inch wheels at both ends, while the 101 Scout and Sport Scout feature larger 19-inch front wheels for sharper handling. With its launch, the 2025 Scout will become the most affordable model in Indian Motorcycles' India range, positioned below the Chief and Chieftain lineup. Its mix of heritage-inspired design, modern features, and relatively accessible pricing is expected to attract buyers seeking a premium cruiser alternative to models from the likes of Harley-Davidson and Triumph.
