Former Destiny's Child star Kelly Rowland joins The Voice UK coaching line-up

Former Destiny's Child singer Kelly Rowland is to join the coaching line-up for the 2025 series of The Voice UK.
She will replace country singer LeAnn Rimes, who joined the 2024 series of the ITV singing show, which will also see Will.i.am, Sir Tom Jones and last year's winning joint coaches, Tom Fletcher and Danny Jones from McFly, return this year.
Speaking about joining the show, Rowland said: "I am excited to join The Voice UK as a coach, and am looking forward to working with the excellent and passionate coaches the show is known for.
"I can't wait to hear all the new talent and to go to battle for my team. Let's go."
Sir Tom added: "It's always a pleasure to return to The Voice UK as every year I'm reminded of the incredible talent we have in this country.
"I'm looking forward to sitting alongside will.i.am once again, having Tom and Danny in their chair for a second series, and of course I'm excited to welcome Kelly Rowland to the panel.

"She's an amazing artist with a huge amount of experience to share."
Rowland began her career in the 1990s with US girl group Destiny's Child, alongside Beyonce Knowles and Michelle Williams, the singer has also achieved two UK number one solo singles in Dilemma with rapper Nelly and When Love Takes Over with DJ David Guetta.
She has also had four hit albums in the UK, including a number one in 2003's Simply Deep.
The singer previously appeared as a judge on the eighth season of The X Factor UK, where she was credited with putting British girl group Little Mix together, who went on to win the show in 2011.
She previously coached on the Australian version of The Voice between 2017 and 2020.
Emma Willis will present the show once again, as contestants compete to win a record contract with Universal Music Group, £50,000 in cash, and a dream holiday to Universal Studios Resort in Florida.
Willis said: "I'm so excited to be back for another series of The Voice UK.
"It's one of the most joyful shows to work on – full of passion, talent and of course those unforgettable moments when the chairs turn.
"With our brilliant coaches returning and the utterly fabulous Kelly Rowland joining the panel, I know this series is going to be something really special."

Filming for the forthcoming series begins in the summer, with further broadcast details to be released in due course.

She managed to win the prize ahead of her brother William Flanagan, who was nominated for playing Joseph Brown on Coronation Street. Emmerdale boss Laura Shaw confirmed Dylan's return earlier this month. Emmerdale's Marlon visits Dylan in hospital after he takes an overdose "Lovely Fred Kettle, who plays Dylan, is coming back to the show," she told media. "He's going to be bringing his past back to the village with him. And that's going to cause huge problems for April and the wider family there." Jessie J reveals hidden pain after biopsy procedure following cancer diagnosis
Jessie J has given an update to fans after revealing she was diagnosed with 'early breast cancer' a few months ago. The 37-year-old singer is best known for hits including Price Tag, Domino and Bang Bang, as well as appearing on The Voice UK, The Voice Australia and The Voice Kids UK. However, Jessie – real name Jessica Ellen Cornish – has given an update after being diagnosed with cancer. She shared a video on her page of herself performing at the London jazz club Ronnie Scott's. The caption revealed that she was struggling not to overshare while performing and had just undergone five surgeries. 'I had 5 breast biopsies the night before this show, I was in some discomfort but so hyped to do it and I didn't want to cancel. Emmerdale actor leaves fans in 'bits' as he breaks down at Soap Awards
Fans watching the British Soap Awards on TV spotted the emotional moment. Emmerdale fans were left emotional whilst watching the British Soap Awards as long-time cast member Jeff Hordley, who plays Cain Dingle, broke down in tears during a powerful tribute. The glittering took place at London's Hackney Empire on Saturday (May 31) but aired on TV on Thursday night. On the evening a Memorial section was included in the ceremony to honour late soap icons who are sadly no longer with us. Among the stars who were remembered were Meg Johnson, Kenneth Cope, Anita Carey, and finally Emmerdale legend Steve Halliwell, who played Zak Dingle, writes The Mirror. Steve, who passed away in December 2023 at the age of 77, played the much-loved patriarch of the Dingle family for almost thirty years. The star first appeared in the ITV soap in 1994, and then went on to be featured in more than 2,400 episodes of Emmerdale. His tribute featured a moving montage of his work, which was accompanied by a live piano instrumental. As Halliwell's final clip played, cameras panned to Jeff Hordley, who plays Zak's son in the soap. The actor was visibly emotional and looked as if he was wiping away tears from his eyes, which prompted a heartfelt reaction from fans on social media. One viewer wrote: "Aww, you could see at the end there seeing Steve affected Jeff." Another affected fan added: "Broke me that Steve Halliwell with Jeff Hordley." Steve Halliwell passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones, according to a statement released by his family in 2023. They said: "He went to sleep, peacefully with his loved ones around him. He was making us laugh to the end, the most amazing father and grandfather you could ever wish for." ITV also released a touching tribute at the time, saying: "Steve will forever be synonymous with Emmerdale. The proud defender and head of the Dingle family. Heart and humour in all he did, it has been and always will be impossible not to smile when you think of him." Aside from Emmerdale, Halliwell also appeared in popular shows including Coronation Street, Heartbeat, All Creatures Great and Small, and Cracker. However, it was his portrayal of farmer Zak Dingle that he is primarily remembered for. He previously opened up about his family's financial hardships during his childhood, admitting that his mum couldn't even afford to buy him a bacon sandwich. Steve shared: "When I first went on this walk there was a small café in the woods known as Nab's Wife (a corruption of the area originally known as Nab's Wharfe), where you could get a refreshing cup of tea and a Mars bar. You could also get a bacon butty, but we never had enough money for such 'luxuries'. On one occasion I persuaded mum to give Clive and me enough money for a bacon butty each, but when we got to the café it was all boarded up and, sadly, never reopened." He was homeless and even imprisoned for "wandering" under the Vagrancy Act early on in his adult life before he went on to find solace in acting and made a name for himself as the formidable head of the Dingle family.
