Scott opts for Sandown with Bay City Roller
The unbeaten Champagne Stakes winner was being initially aimed at the Irish 2,000 Guineas before he had his attentions switched to the French Derby.
However, with warm weather in France and rain forecast in the UK, Scott feels he has better chance of getting more suitable conditions at Sandown on Thursday evening.
'We've been battling with the weather. Every time we make a plan for him it seems to dry up,' he said.
'We're very keen to run him on good ground at the fastest. So although they water very well in France, it looks a very warm build up to that race and we just thought it was sensible with the rain around to redirect to Sandown.
'We've got the impression that 10 furlongs isn't going to be a problem but where we are at, with the lack of opportunities at this stage of the season, we've had to go where the race is so he'll start off at a mile.'
He added: 'I'm very happy with the horse, he's training as well as you could hope and he's in really good shape. He's a horse who has won at the track so we won't be looking for any excuses, put it that way.'

King Of Cities supplemented for French Classic mission
Owner Sheikh Mohammed Obaid has paid the €72,000 supplementary fee to enable the half-brother to Commonwealth Cup winner Inisherin to take his chance in the 10-furlong Classic. Speaking at Windsor on Monday, Hannon told Sky Sports Racing: 'I always thought he was an extremely good horse. He's by the best stallion in the world (Dubawi) and he has an extremely good pedigree. 'I was always slightly disappointed with him last year until he went to the Feilden Stakes first time out this year and the handicapper put him up 18lb, so he's now (rated) 111. 'He loved the ground that day and I was told that the sectionals he showed that day would have been good enough to win any Guineas. 'He doesn't have anything to prove to me, it's a big step up to go to the French Derby but he's capable of anything.' Andre Fabre has also supplemented the once-raced Sinileo, for the same connections who supplemented subsequent winner Sosie for the Prix d'Ispahan. There are now 18 possibles with John and Thady Gosden leaving in Detain and Bowmark, Charlie Fellowes has Luther while Aidan O'Brien has Camille Pissarro and Trinity College.

Soumillon steps in for Detain ride at Chantilly
'The plan is to run both at the moment and both came out of their last races well,' said Thady Gosden. Detain will be ridden by Christophe Soumillon (Adam Davy/PA) 'Detain ran in the Poulains, he travelled back great from that, and Bowmark from York. 'Detain has been in good order, that was his first foreign trip but he took the experience very well. That was into Longchamp and this will be into Chantilly. 'He ran a nice race there, he was doing all his best work late on and shaped as if the step up to 10 furlongs would suit.' Regarding the booking of Soumillon, Gosden added: 'Christophe Soumillon is who he is. He's a world-class jockey and he was available for the ride, so after discussions he kindly agreed to ride him. Bowmark impressed at York (Mike Egerton/PA) 'Tom Marquand will ride Bowmark with William Buick riding for Godolphin. 'I wouldn't know which one I'd want to ride, I'd probably wait for the draw before I answered! 'It's Bowmark's first time travelling abroad so he'll need to travel well whereas Detain has the experience of that, but hopefully they both continue to improve as the season goes on. Hopefully they are both impressive three-year-olds. 'It looks like being a big field and Chantilly has its quirks. The bigger the field, the more trouble we are likely to run into. Circumstantially a lot will have to go right and the draw is a major factor in that. Time will tell.' Gold Cup one-two share top jumps billing
Galopin Des Champs had achieved a mark of 179 in the previous two seasons, but after the Gavin Cromwell-trained Inothewayurthinkin foiled his Gold Cup hat-trick, the pair are equally rated – the first horses to split the title since the 1999-2000 season when Looks Like Trouble and See More Business were both on 174. The ratings are agreed and compiled by a group of British and and Irish handicappers, with each of the six groups across fences and hurdles headed by Irish-trained runners. Shay Quinn, senior National Hunt handicapper at the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board (IHRB), said: 'Galopin Des Champs was the highest rated horse in training for the third consecutive year, although this year he shared the honour with the impressive Gold Cup winner Inothewayurthinkin. 'Fact to File (173) was the clear winner of the middle-distance division thanks to a scintillating display in the Ryanair, while Marine Nationale (170) cemented his position as the top two-mile chaser around following wins in both the Cheltenham and Punchestown Champion Chases. 'The novice section was headed by Majborough (164), who was champion in the two-mile section courtesy of a devastating performance at Punchestown. He's an exciting novice and if he continues to jump like that, has all the attributes required to go to the very top in open company.' Jonbon was the leading British-trained runner, although his perch of 168 is 2lb lower than last year, while his fellow Nicky Henderson inmate Sir Gino achieved a mark of 163 in his sole chase start before injury ended his campaign. State Man, who dramatically fell at the final flight with the Champion Hurdle at his mercy, heads the hurdles rankings on 167, with Constitution Hill retaining his place as the leading British performer on 162, despite coming unstuck at Cheltenham, Aintree and Punchestown in the spring. Michael Harris, the British Horseracing Authority's handicapping team leader (Hurdles), said: 'The two-mile hurdle division was one of changing fortunes throughout the season and ultimately it was State Man who takes top honours for the second year in succession. 'Constitution Hill was unable to show his best form towards the end of the season, but his success in the Christmas Hurdle at Kempton still rated the best performance from a British hurdler at 162. 'In a strong looking novice crop, it is the unbeaten The New Lion who ranks highest on a figure of 159. His defeat of Final Demand (158) and The Yellow Clay (156) at Cheltenham looks a strong piece of form and hopes will be high that he can take the step up to open Grade One company next season in his stride.'
