Kate Middleton styled two distinct looks by the same designer over the course of a few days. The Princess of Wales joined her husband of nearly 14 years, Prince William, for the Guinness Six Nations 2025 match between Wales and England on Saturday in Cardiff, Wales, followed by an appearance at the 2025 Irish Guards' St. Patrick's Day Parade on Monday in London.

On Monday, Middleton opted for occasion dressing for the Irish Guards' St. Patrick's Day Parade in London. The Princess of Wales styled an Alexander McQueen coat in a subdued shade of green with Ralph Lauren over-the-knee boots. She accessorized with black gloves by Cornelia James and styled jewelry pieces by Kiki McDonough, along with a gold Cartier shamrock brooch.

For Saturday's festivities, Middleton wore a navy coat with gold buttons courtesy of Alexander McQueen, one of the British royal family member's longtime favorite designers. The long-sleeve coat featured an A-line silhouette with four gold buttons on the front placket and pockets at the hips.
Middleton also wore a pair of boots by Gianvito Rossi, adding an understated, elevated element to her overall look. The Princess of Wales accessorized her attire with earrings by Shyla — a London-based jewelry label — and carried a bag courtesy of Grace Han.
The British royal further accessorized her look with a pair of black gloves, which coordinated with her turtleneck, boots and handbag, drawing the entire look together for precise uniformity with a hint of utilitarian sensibility.
As previously mentioned, Alexander McQueen has long been a designer Kate Middleton turns to for public royal engagements. The Princess of Wales' relationship with the label extends back to 2011, when former creative director Sarah Burton designed Middleton's wedding dress.
More recently, Middleton's used some of her favorite Alexander McQueen pieces as sartorial statements with an added sentimental touch for some of her ongoing public royal duties. While visiting Wales in February, the Princess of Wales styled a bespoke Alexander McQueen coat in 'Welsh Red,' a reference to one of the colors featured on the country's flag — green, white and a bright red dragon.
For one of her first public outings in October 2024, after she disclosed her cancer remission and completion of her chemotherapy treatment, Middleton styled a double-breasted chocolate coat by Alexander McQueen with sharp shoulders and lapels.
