Kate Middleton styled two distinct looks by the same designer over the course of a few days. The Princess of Wales joined her husband of nearly 14 years, Prince William, for the Guinness Six Nations 2025 match between Wales and England on Saturday in Cardiff, Wales, followed by an appearance at the 2025 Irish Guards' St. Patrick's Day Parade on Monday in London. The Princess of Wales styled an Alexander McQueen coat in a subdued shade of green with Ralph Lauren over-the-knee boots. She accessorized with black gloves by Cornelia James and styled jewelry pieces by Kiki McDonough, along with a gold Cartier shamrock brooch. browse alexander mcqueen outerwear browse kiki mcdonough jewelry For Saturday's festivities, Middleton wore a navy coat with gold buttons courtesy of Alexander McQueen, one of the British royal family member's longtime favorite designers. The long-sleeve coat featured an A-line silhouette with four gold buttons on the front placket and pockets at the hips. Middleton also wore a pair of boots by Gianvito Rossi, adding an understated, elevated element to her overall look. The Princess of Wales accessorized her attire with earrings by Shyla — a London-based jewelry label — and carried a bag courtesy of Grace Han. The British royal further accessorized her look with a pair of black gloves, which coordinated with her turtleneck, boots and handbag, drawing the entire look together for precise uniformity with a hint of utilitarian sensibility. As previously mentioned, Alexander McQueen has long been a designer Kate Middleton turns to for public royal engagements. The Princess of Wales' relationship with the label extends back to 2011, when former creative director Sarah Burton designed Middleton's wedding dress. More recently, Middleton's used some of her favorite Alexander McQueen pieces as sartorial statements with an added sentimental touch for some of her ongoing public royal duties. While visiting Wales in February, the Princess of Wales styled a bespoke Alexander McQueen coat in 'Welsh Red,' a reference to one of the colors featured on the country's flag — green, white and a bright red dragon. For one of her first public outings in October 2024, after she disclosed her cancer remission and completion of her chemotherapy treatment, Middleton styled a double-breasted chocolate coat by Alexander McQueen with sharp shoulders and lapels. $179 Buy Now at cornelia james Price upon publish date of this article: $179 View Gallery Launch Gallery: Kate Middleton in Alexander McQueen at the 2025 Irish Guards' St. Patrick's Day Parade [PHOTOS] Best of WWD Demna's Celebrity Fashion Statements at Balenciaga: Kim Kardashian, Nicole Kidman and More [PHOTOS] Rachel Zegler's Red Carpet Style Through the Years [PHOTOS] Charlotte Rampling, Actress, Model and Icon of the Swinging Sixties, Style Through the Years [PHOTOS]

Kate Middleton Wears Pearl Earrings With Sobering History for Holocaust Remembrance Day Service With Prince William
Kate Middleton joined her husband Prince William for a somber occasion in London on Monday, as the Prince and Princess of Wales commemorated Holocaust Remembrance Day with a special service. The memorial marked the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau during World War II. For the sobering occasion, Kate favored respectful attire, wearing pieces evocative of subdued elegance. The Princess of Wales' attire featured trousers by Roland Mouret, a coat by Catherine Walker, a five-strand pearl necklace and what appeared to be sentimental earrings that once belonged to Queen Elizabeth II. Queen Elizabeth II received the pearls after her wedding to Prince Philip and often wore them for public events. The earrings were eventually passed down to Kate, who's worn them regularly for such occasions as Remembrance Day services in the United Kingdom. In 2021, the Princess of Wales wore the earrings for Prince Philip's funeral. The earrings were also worn to Queen Elizabeth II's funeral in 2022. Kate's appearance at the Holocaust Remembrance Day service marks one of her first public events since she announced her cancer remission. The Princess of Wales underwent chemotherapy treatment in 2024 for an undisclosed form of cancer she publicly disclosed in March 2024. Since completing her treatment in September, the royal slowly rejoined members of the British royal family at public events. Prior to the Holocaust Remembrance Day service, the Princess of Wales visited with patients at the Royal Marsden Hospital, where she received treatment. Ahead of the Holocaust Remembrance Day services, the Prince and Princess of Wales took to their official Instagram account to share a message to commemorate the occasion. 'Today we remember the six million Jews murdered in the Holocaust, victims of Nazi persecution, as well as the victims of more recent genocides, including Cambodia, Rwanda, Bosnia and Darfur,' the caption to their post read.
