Rangers confirm 13 academy exits including Devine & McKinnon
The other youngsters moving on are Lewis Budinauckas, Jay Hogarth, Jacob Pazikas, Jack Harkness, Kristian Webster, Leyton Grant, Kerr Robertson, Darren McInally, Grant Leitch and Harry Weir.

Devine had a run of top team appearances, and impressed to a degree, during the 2022-23 season and then headed out to Motherwell on loan last year, picking up further Premiership experience. But it was down to the second tier last season and the full-back hasn't done enough to stay on at Ibrox.
McKinnon is another who has a decent amount of first-team experiences and was even trusted by Philippe Clement against Benfica in the Europa League last season.
But they will now be on the hunt for a new club along with the other 11 confirmed as leaving this morning.
A statement from the club reads: "Academy can today confirm the departure of a number of players who will now continue their footballing journey elsewhere.
"Lewis Budinauckas, Jay Hogarth, Jacob Pazikas, Jack Harkness, Kristian Webster, Leyton Grant, Kerr Robertson, Darren McInally, Grant Leitch and Harry Weir are all moving on.
"Adam Devine, Cole McKinnon and Archie Stevens, all of whom featured for the first-team at various points in their Rangers careers, will also depart the club upon the expiration of their contracts, and we thank each for their contributions over the years.
"We wish all the departing players the very best in their future endeavours and they will always be welcome back at Rangers."

Man Utd's new third kit leaked as fans blast: 'You couldn't pay me to wear it'
Adidas' attempt to recreate a classic Manchester United strip for the 2025/26 season has not gone down well with supporters, who have slammed the black and yellow kit Manchester United have hit rock bottom after ending a miserable season – and now their leaked new kit is being slammed by fans. United ended their 2024/25 campaign 15th in the Premier League and without any European football to look forward to after tasting defeat in the Europa League final. Ruben Amorim's side then added some more embarrassment by losing to an ASEAN All-Stars side in Kuala Lumpur during an all-advised post-season tour. The atmosphere around the club hasn't been helped by Sir Jim Ratcliffe's job-cutting crusade ahead of a summer transfer window which could see a huge number of players leave. To make matters worse, United's kits for the upcoming 2025/26 campaign have been leaked on social media. Kit manufacturer Adidas have created a third kit comprised of black, yellow and blue, which – as is the way these days – harks back to happier times. The apparent third strip that Amorim's players will be wearing next season is an attempt to recall the era of Eric Cantona and co from 1993 to 1995. The new version doesn't have a collar and has Snapdragon as the front-of-shirt sponsor, but it is a close copy of the original Umbro version. Needless to say, it hasn't gone down well with all United fans. 'The worst shirt I've ever seen, couldn't pay me to wear it,' one furious supporter wrote on social media. 'Third shirt for what? We ain't in Europe,' another pointed out. 'United slowly losing its identity,' a third wrote, while another simply concluded: 'F****** ugly.' HAVE YOUR SAY! What do you make of the leaked kit? Comment below. However, it wasn't all bad, with some fans liking the retro throwback. 'This is so so good,' one wrote. 'Is this legit!? Looks class,' another added. Another wrote: 'Monochrome badge brings it down to a 9/10 rather than a 10/10.' The leaked home shirt looks pretty straightforward: a red number with black and white touches, while the away shirt is a bold all-white effort. It will be some time until fans see players wearing them, with United taking a not-so well-earned break after the tour of Malaysia and Hong Kong. The club are not involved in this summer's Club World Cup, so will take some time off before reconvening for pre-season. United begin their pre-season against Leeds in Stockholm on July 19 before flying over to the Untied States for games against West Ham, Bournemouth and Everton. They then return to Old Trafford to play Fiorentina on August 9 before the Premier League begins again on August 16. What's for certain is that it will be a dramatically different United squad next season, with the club overhauling things in the transfer window. Matheus Cunha is set to be the first arrival of the summer window after United agreed to pay Wolves his £62.5million release clause, while Brentford forward Bryan Mbeumo is another target.

Steven Gerrard gears Rangers message towards Liverpool
The Anfield club are just off the back of securing the English Premier League title. Recently speaking about the success of his old team, Gerrard told TNT Sports: "You've got to fix the roof while the sun is shining. Read more: "We never had a big summer window last year because we already had a squad ready to challenge. "But I think if you want to go to the next step, it's important to keep improving and pushing. "Frimpong's done and there's other rumours circling about really talented players, so it looks like Liverpool are going to be the team to catch. "I've got every confidence they're going to be stronger next year." Gerrard's initial message was one he sent out after securing the Scottish Premiership title with Rangers in 2021. "It's about what's next," he told Sky Sports at the time. "This is a club where you can't stand still. This has to be a launch pad. "We need to fix the roof while the sun is shining and everyone's happy. It's my job now to find the tweaks and malfunctions in the group that we need to iron out." Gerrard ultimately left Rangers for Aston Villa after stopping Celtic's 10-in-a-row bid. He then moved out to Saudi Arabia with Al-Ettifaq and is now without a club.

Steven Gerrard in pointed Rangers throwback as Liverpool challenged to do something Ibrox board never did
Gerrard turned to a phrase that Rangers fans will remember well from his time at the club Steven Gerrard told Liverpool they need to "fix the roof while the sun is shining" in a word-for-word throwback to his pointed 2021 message to the Rangers board. The Liverpool legend initially appeared to be one of the frontrunners to replace Philippe Clement in the Rangers hotseat but it now looks as if it will be Russell Martin filling that void. Instead the former Ibrox boss is filling his time with punditry work in between jobs after leaving Al-Ettifaq in Saudi Arabia. And, naturally, he's been asked about his old club Liverpool, who are spending big this summer to build on their Premier League title win last season. They've already brought Jeremie Frimpong in from Bayer Leverkusen in a £30m deal and look set to follow that up by bringing in his teammate Florian Wirtz. They're not stopping there either; Bournemouth left-back Milos Kerkez looks set to follow, while there's also been talk of Atalanta midfielder Ederson and a new number nine. Asked about the summer recruitment drive on TNT Sports, Gerrard said: "You've got to fix the roof while the sun is shining. We never had a big summer window last year because we already had a squad ready to challenge. "But I think if you want to go to the next step, it's important to keep improving and pushing. Frimpong's done and there's other rumours circling about really talented players, so it looks like Liverpool are going to be the team to catch. I've got every confidence they're going to be stronger next year." Rangers' fans ears might pick up at that first phrase. Because four years ago, he said exactly the same thing about Rangers. Drenched in champagne after winning the Premiership in 2021, Gerrard was asked on Sky Sports what's next for the club and he urged the board, then chaired by Douglas Park, not to sit still – using exactly the same phrase. "It's about what's next. This is a club where you can't stand still. This has to be a launch pad," he said. 'We need to fix the roof while the sun is shining and everyone's happy. It's my job now to find the tweaks and malfunctions in the group that we need to iron out. "The recruitment is key now. We're short in certain areas. I've had really interesting meetings with the board. They're with me, they'll back me and we'll build on this success.' It ended up being a reasonably quiet summer for Rangers with Juninho Bacuna the only played they spent money on in their bid to defend the title. John Lundstram, Fashion Sakala and Nnamdi Ofoborh were the other recruits on free transfers. Gerrard left for Aston Villa in October, and Ange Postecoglou went on to bring the title back to Celtic.
