There were reports of the BCCI's press conference on India's squad selection for the upcoming Asia Cup getting called off due to heavy rain and waterlogging in Mumbai, where the board is headquartered at the iconic Wankhede Stadium.
The BCCI, however, clarified all confusion on the eve of the press conference on Monday, making it clear that it will be going ahead as planned and even providing the timings for the same.

BCCI to announce both men's and women's squads on same day
And it's not just the Asia Cup squad that will be announced on Tuesday – the board will also be unveiling India's squad for the upcoming three-match ODI series against Australia as well as the ICC Women's Cricket World Cup.
The squad announcement for the men's and women's teams will be taking place at 1.30 pm and 3.30 pm respectively at the BCCI's headquarters.
'The Senior Men's Selection Committee will meet at the BCCI HQ, Mumbai, on Tuesday, August 19, to pick India's squad for the upcoming ACC Men's Asia Cup. The selection meeting will be followed by a press conference, which will be attended by the Captain and the Chairman of the Senior Men's Selection Committee,' the BCCI wrote in its release on Monday.
'The Women's Selection Committee will also meet at the BCCI HQ, Mumbai, to pick India's squad for the upcoming three-match ODI series against Australia and the ICC Women's Cricket World Cup.
'The selection meeting will be followed by a press conference, which will be attended by the Captain and the Chairperson of the Women's Selection Committee,' the board added.
The Asia Cup takes place in the UAE from 9 to 28 September, with the Suryakumar Yadav-led Indian team has been placed in the same group as arch-rivals Pakistan along with Oman and UAE.
The Harmanpreet Kaur-led Indian women's team, on the other hand, will be facing world champions Australia in a three-match ODI series that takes place on 14, 17 and 20 September, with New Chandigarh and Delhi hosting the matches.
The Women's World Cup will then take place from 30 September to 2 November with India set to face co-hosts Sri Lanka in the tournament opener that was originally scheduled to take place in Bengaluru but has since been moved out due to the recent stampede controversy at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium.
