Dunelm's top interior design trends for 2025
Maximalism
Maximalism is about unleashing your creativity and bringing joy to everything around you, day in and day out. Bold pattern combinations of florals, checks and geometrics set the tone with a bright joyous colour palette that holds everything together.
Don't mistake Maximalism for having loads of stuff, it's about mixing and matching florals, layering key pieces and storytelling throughout your home, and ultimately doing things your own way. Dunelm's new collaboration with Sophie Robinson is all about that.
Minimaluxe
The interiors world has witnessed the evolution of "minimalism" into a richer, more luxurious iteration. The goal is quiet luxury - simplicity with a sense of sophistication.
Minimaluxe focuses on creating spaces that are pared down yet warm, elegant, and inviting. Gloriously tactile textures, in a palette of warm neutrals, with hints of caramel and gold, complete the look. Introducing softer forms and round edges to avoid a space feeling overly stark
The Edit
Built on the philosophy that having fewer thoughtfully designed and well-made things helps us leave a lighter imprint on the earth. Interior design is shifting to be inspired by the natural world, and all its perfect imperfections.
Take Dunelm's The Edited Life collection, it focuses on natural materials like wicker, jute and linens - as well as décor pieces and hand-thrown pottery vessels that feature forms dictated by the artisan's mark. Soft relaxed fabric textures mixed with uneven wood grains help bring this neutral, look together.
New Nouveau
Blending 19th century inspired maximalism with a contemporary colour palette this collection takes inspiration from the ornamental art form from the Nouveau era. Rich and luxurious, blending a little bit of history with a more modern aesthetic you can mix and layer into your home.
Stylised Lily motifs adorn sumptuous textiles and wallpapers mixed with marbling & stained glass vintage style lighting for a vintage inspired look, with a modern twist.
Facebook users were clearly left gobsmacked by the epic sale price of the eucalyptus tree, as Lisa's post has quickly racked up 236 likes and 33 comments.
Savvy savers were desperate to get their hands on the reduced find and many raced to the comments to express this.

I purchased a '£20 pouffe' from Dunelm and it's a been a game changer for my lounge

In an effort to make lounging about at home even more comfortable, I recently invested in a soft velvety pouffe from Dunelm. With selected colours now half price, this could be your sign to invest in one too. The Eliza Pouffe in Thistle has been reduced from £40 to £20 online. Made from soft velvet with neat piped edges, the plush accessory adds an 'elegant' touch to any seating area. I originally purchased the pouffe in a beige colour, paying full price for the privilege. An automatic upgrade to my living room, I immediately went back and got another one. Soft and plush, the Eliza pouffe is perfect for putting your feet up after a long day. Thanks to its lightweight design, it means I can move it around to find the perfect position when plonked in front of the telly. The velvet introduces a rich texture, making the space feel warm and cosy. While I did question the sanity of buying a light-coloured piece of furniture that people would put their feet on, the pouffe still looks as good as new. Filled with poly beads, it feels firm enough to stop tired legs from sinking while still feeling soft and comfy against the skin. I haven't seen the beads sink too much yet, but I assume that they can be refilled if they start to sag. Being able to pop my feet up has been a real game changer - it makes my seating area more comfortable without having to fork out for an expensive foot stool. While I love my pouffes, other alternatives are also available. Argos, for example, is selling the Habitat Fabric Storage Footstool in a choice of rich moss green colour for £50. Not quite as versatile as the Dunelm pouffe, this model has handy storage to keep smaller items out of sight. Elsewhere on Amazon, the Icon Milano Velvet Bean Bag Pouffe comes in six colours and is currently reduced with prices from £37.99. Shoppers have given it a 4.6 out of five-star rating, calling it "excellent quality" and "great value for money." The stylish Eliza Pouffe has earned glowing feedback on the Dunelm website, boasting an impressive average rating of 4.7 out of 5 stars from over 120 reviews. One buyer said: 'Comfy. So comfy, great after a hard day's work. Don't know why I didn't get one ages ago.' Another called it " very comfortable and stylish,' while a third added: "Lovely and comfortable, just right for tired legs, and it looks great too. Would definitely recommend it." Not all Dunelm shoppers were quite so impressed, with some mentioning that the 'orange umber' shade appeared different in person than it did online. One reviewer wrote: "It's a good pouffe, quite comfortable. But it's not orange by any stretch—more of a brown or magenta tone. That was disappointing, as I was expecting a true orange." Overall most buyers were happy with their purchase, even those who paid full price. A five-star review summed it up saying: "A wonderful room accessory. I'm thrilled with my Eliza Pouffe. It's an elegant addition to my room and looks far more expensive than it was."

Five savvy ways to revamp your home this summer for less

GIVING your home a revamp for summer need not cost a fortune. With just a few little tricks you can create bright and breezy decor that is perfect. Here's some ideas . . . PERFECT PRINT: Keep those holiday postcards and pop them in a frame. You can buy cheap black ones from around 99p at Wilko. Gather a few different postcards in varying styles — retro works particularly well. You can then use the framed pictures to create a gallery wall that livens up a room or hallway. MELLOW YELLOW: Get your home feeling a little more vibrant with some brighter colours. A few pops here and there will work wonders. You can get summery-style cushions from around £7 at Primark. Or if you want to go a step further, create a feature wall in a shade such as butter yellow, which is on trend for this year. LIGHT TOUCHES: Summer style is all about embracing the lighter side of life. Have some fun with your home by maybe changing up drawers or cupboard knobs. A pack of six floral knobs is £12 from Dunelm. Or The Range has a few different styles — at pretty affordable prices. SEAS THE DAY: If you are feeling more creative, shells collected from the beach can be glued on to vases, plant pots or mirror frames to make more of a feature of them. Or simply fill a glass jar with some coloured seaglass and shells to add a beachy accent to a table or shelf. BLOOMIN' LOVELY: Nothing says summer quite like having fresh flowers displayed around the home. You don't have to go overboard by spending loads on big, showy bouquets. I'm an interiors expert - 8 mistakes that are making your home look cheap Work with just what's in your garden or local woods.
