The 21-year-old played 39 times for the Belgian outfit last season, scoring two goals and assisting three across all competitions.
Angulo joined Anderlecht in 2022 from LDU Quito in his homeland of Ecuador for €1.9 million, per Transfermarkt.

He initially went into the youth setup in Brussels before establishing himself as a first-team regular.
Angulo could be on the move this summer, though, and studiofutbol.com claims that Celtic have already had a 'formal offer' for the wide man knocked back.
It is believed that the rejection won't rule out any further attempts by the Scottish Premiership champions to sign Angulo, however.
The player is currently away on international duty with Ecuador. He started and played until the 89th minute in their goalless draw with Brazil last week. It was his fifth senior cap.
Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has already added Kieran Tierney to his ranks this summer.
The left-back's return to Parkhead was officially announced on Tuesday afternoon: "Everybody's known for a few months, and just to be here with the Celtic strip on again just feels amazing," Tierney told celticfc.com.
"I spoke with the manager, and obviously, I had worked with him before, and I've always kept in touch with him. He's one of the best, so I'm so lucky and grateful that he's given me the chance to come back again.
"When you move away from home, you grow up, you learn different things. I was in Spain for a year, learning a different language and playing in a different league, so I'm definitely a different person. Player-wise, it's the same as I always say – I'll try and work my hardest, I'll do my best for the club, and that's all I can do.
"My ambition is just for Celtic to be as successful as possible, retain our place at the top and continue to win trophies and do well for Celtic."

We told you yesterday how Central Coast Mariners boss Mark Jackson had emerged as a shock candidate for the job. Leeds-born Jackson, a former defender who mainly played in England's lower leagues, has spent the past three years Down Under after previously bossing MK Dons. He has won an A-League Premiership and Championship as well as the Asian Champions League Two title. In the 2023-24 season Jackson and the Mariners won a Double, emulating ex-Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou who achieved the feat with Brisbane Road in 2010-11. Jackson took over from Nick Montgomery who had left to become manager of Hibs following the club's A-League Grand Final victory. The 47-year-old honed his coaching talents working at Leeds United, where he came through the ranks as a player. The Fir Park side were rocked when Michael Wimmer chose to step down from the club. He departed at the end of the season for family reasons to join SVV Jahn Regensburg. Robbie Neilson and Tony Docherty have also been linked with the position but the 'Well board have shown they're unafraid to look outwith the usual contenders for the role.
