Tata Harrier EV Price List: Tata Motors announced the introductory prices of the Harrier EV's Rear-Wheel Drive variants. Prices of Quad Wheel Drive (QWD) dual-motor variants will be announced on 27th June 2025. With bookings starting from 2nd July, the Harrier EV's RWD variants are priced between Rs 21.49 lakh and Rs 27.49 lakh (ex-showroom, India).

Since the discontinuation of the Safari Storme AWD SUV, the Harrier EV is Tata's first model to get an AWD system. It is based on the Acti.ev platform and available in two battery pack options: 65kWh with a single motor (238bhp) and a 75kWh with dual motors. The larger battery pack offers an MIDC range of up to 627km.

To boost farmers' income, UP to modernise irrigation systems with central scheme
1 2 3 Lucknow: To reduce the dependence of farmers on traditional systems of irrigation and rainfall, the state govt will be implementing the 'modernisation of command area development and water management programme, a central govt initiative for which it has already sanctioned Rs 1,600 crore. It will also lead to employment generation for thousands of people, the official claimed. "The project will be monitored at national, state, and district levels by a central committee headed by the secretary of the ministry of Jal Shakti department, the chief secretary at the state level, and district magistrates at the local level. Additionally, real-time tracking will be enabled through advanced tools. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed officials to complete the pilot phase on time.

Toll soon on Karnataka stretch of Bengaluru-Chennai expressway
Bengaluru: The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) is set to begin toll collection on the 70-km Karnataka stretch of the newly opened Bengaluru-Chennai expressway, marking the end of free travel for motorists using the route daily. The expressway — the first in Karnataka — was unofficially opened in Feb, allowing vehicles to travel from Hoskote to Kolar Gold Fields (KGF). According to NHAI, toll rates are being finalised, with car users likely to pay Rs 150 for a one-way trip and Rs 225 for a return journey. There are three interchanges — Malur, Bangarpet, and Bethamangala — with tolls ranging from Rs 55 to Rs 150. Heavy vehicles may be charged up to Rs 520 one-way and Rs 780 for a round trip. "The ministry of road transport and highways (MoRTH) has notified tolling for this stretch. Once the commercial operations wing completes the procedural formalities and the district authorities are informed, toll collection will begin," NHAI regional officer Vilas Brahmankar said. NHAI has provided Rs 20 crore to Karnataka to upgrade 18km of connecting village and district roads to boost access to the expressway from Bengaluru-Kolar highway.
