Emirates has launched the Emirates Courier Express, an end-to-end delivery solution that is set to redefine the express delivery experience.
The airline introduces this service after nearly four decades of transporting people and goods worldwide.
Emirates worked with various global customers to pilot and refine the product, aiming to make it as fast, reliable, and flexible as possible before launching to the market.
The service is now open for businesses to use, an Emirates media report said.

UAE: No fines for small companies on late registration of Emirati employees
Some UAE companies will be exempted from fines for late registration of Emirati employees. The initiative, which targets small businesses employing four or fewer UAE nationals, will be granted a waiver from additional amounts incurred due to delays in registering insured employees or failing to process end-of-service cases within the required timeframes. The move by the General Pension and Social Security Authority (GPSSA) will benefit approximately 1,906 small private-sector employers and cover fines incurred between January 1, 2024 and April 30, 2025. It is part of GPSSA's efforts to support small private sector businesses, which play a vital role in the national economy. By reducing their financial burdens, the initiative enables these businesses to improve their financial stability, reinvest in growth, and make a greater impact on the national economy, thereby contributing more to the GDP. "This initiative aims to create a supportive environment for small businesses, enabling them to focus on growth and success,' said Faras Abdul Karim Al Ramahi, director general of GPSSA. 'These companies are incubators of innovation and key sources of creativity and job opportunities for UAE nationals, contributing to social and economic stability. "This step aligns with our wise leadership's vision and tireless efforts to eliminate bureaucracy, streamline processes, and ease burdens on the business sector, enhancing the country's business environment and attracting more investment." Eligible small businesses will be contacted directly, with no further action required on their part, as part of the 'Zero Government Bureaucracy' programme. Businesses that do not receive a direct notification are not included in this initiative. The authority also emphasised the importance of adhering to pension and social security laws, reaffirming its commitment to helping small businesses remain compliant. Support includes providing clear guidance and resources to help employers understand their legal responsibilities and meet insurance requirements, ensuring the rights of both employees and employers are protected.

Emirates, Etihad, flydubai and Air Arabia extend flight suspensions as Israel-Iran conflict escalates
Airlines in the UAE have extended the temporary suspension of flights to some destinations as tensions escalate between Israel and Iran with renewed air strikes. Emirates said all its flights to Tehran in Iran, and Baghdad and Basra in Iraq have been suspended until June 30. The airline's flights to Amman in Jordan and Beirut in Lebanon have also been suspended until June 22. Customers connecting through Dubai with final destinations in Iraq, Iran, Jordan, Lebanon; and customers with onward flydubai connections will not be accepted for travel at their point of origin until further notice. The airline also urged customers departing from or arriving at Dubai International Airport to check their flight status on for the latest information. In a statement issued to The National on Sunday, Emirates said it was 'monitoring the situation and making all efforts to ensure minimal disruption'. Etihad Airways, the UAE's national carrier, cancelled its services to and from Tel Aviv until June 22. The airline also said it was rerouting several flights in response to restricted airspace in parts of the Middle East, adding this may lead to disruption and delays in the coming days. Guests transiting through Abu Dhabi to connect to cancelled flights will not be accepted for travel from their point of origin, Etihad added, urging travellers to check their flight status at Flydubai, too, has temporarily suspended flights to and from Jordan, Lebanon and Syria until June 16. Flights to Minsk and St Petersburg in Russia are suspended until June 17; and flights to Iran, Iraq and Israel have been suspended until June 20. Sharjah's Air Arabia, which operates flights out of Sharjah as well as Abu Dhabi, said all its flights to Lebanon, Jordan and Russia have been temporarily suspended until June 16. Meanwhile, Air Arabia flights to Iran and Iraq are suspended until June 30. Passengers connecting through Sharjah or Abu Dhabi with final destinations in any of the above will not be accepted for travel at their point of origin until further update, the airline said. The UAE's Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Saturday issued a travel advisory, calling on all UAE citizens, residents and visitors to contact airlines directly for the latest updates on flight schedules. Emiratis in Jordan, Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, Iran and Israel have been urged to register with Twajudi, a government service to support nationals abroad and to help co-ordinate repatriation during an emergency or a crisis.
