Ministry of Foreign Affairs Condemns U.S.-British Aggression Against Yemen

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates strongly condemned the U.S.-British aggression launched today against civilian sites in the capital, Sana'a, and Sa'ada province, particularly targeting residential neighborhoods, resulting in the martyrdom and injury of several civilians.
In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (SABA), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs considered this aggression a blatant violation of Yemen's sovereignty, stability, territorial integrity, the UN Charter, and international law.
The ministry asserted that the U.S.-British aggression aims is to deter Yemen from its stance in support of the Palestinian people and to protect the Zionist occupying entity, allowing it to continue its genocidal crimes against the Palestinian people for over 15 months with American backing.
The statement pointed out that this aggression comes at a time when calm has returned to the Red Sea and maritime restrictions have been limited solely to Zionist ships. It emphasized that Yemen will defend itself with all available means.
The ministry reaffirmed that the U.S.-British aggression will only strengthen Yemen's resolve and determination to continue supporting and standing by the Palestinian people until the aggression and blockade on Gaza come to an end.
It further explained that this aggression is an extension of the ongoing war against Yemen since March 26, 2015, which was announced from Washington and has led to the worst humanitarian crisis in the world.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs called on the international community, particularly the UN Security Council and freedom-loving people worldwide, to condemn the blatant U.S.-British aggression against Yemen, which threatens security and stability in the region and the world.

Himaya condemns piracy of "Madeleine" ship, holds occupation responsible for ongoing genocide in Gaza
Ramallah - Saba: The Palestinian "Himaya" Center for Human Rights condemned the new crime committed by the Israeli occupation forces at dawn on Monday against the "Madeleine" ship, which was sailing in international waters towards the Gaza Strip. The ship was carrying 12 peace and human rights activists, in addition to symbolic humanitarian aid aimed at breaking the blockade imposed on more than two million Palestinians in the Strip. The Protection Center said in a statement, carried by Palestinian media, that it had monitored this crime, stressing that the targeting of the Madeleine is not an isolated incident, but rather comes within the context of a broader crime: the crime of genocide and systematic starvation perpetrated by the occupying forces against civilians in the Gaza Strip. This includes destroying supply chains, preventing the entry of aid, and targeting relief efforts. This reflects a clear intent to commit genocide, as stipulated in the 1948 Genocide Convention. The Center emphasized that preventing the Madeleine from reaching Gaza reinforces the policy of collective punishment and once again exposes the international community's failure to protect civilians and ensure the delivery of humanitarian aid, which encourages the Israeli occupation to continue committing crimes without accountability. The Center called for the immediate release of all activists detained on board Madeleine, revealing their whereabouts, and ensuring their safety. Himaya Center emphasized that the international popular and human rights movement to break the siege on Gaza, as embodied by the Madeleine voyage, represents the living conscience of humanity and must receive protection and support, not repression and arrest. According to what activists documented before the communication was cut off, Israeli warships and drones surrounded the ship, jammed its communications, and dropped unknown materials on it before storming it and arbitrarily arresting those on board.
