Luke Humphries secured an 11-8 victory in the final at a packed-out O2 Arena.
It was disappointment for Littler, who was cheered on by Faith Millar in the VIP section.
Faith, 19, is a beautician from Wigan, just 15 miles from Littler's home town of Warrington.
The duo struck up a friendship after meeting in February.

Faith is said to have met Littler's parents by the time the pair were pictured in public for the first time in March.
Littler and Faith left the Utilita Arena in Newcastle together after the darts star won night eight of this year's Premier League.
And in May, they went public with a photo of Littler having his arm around Faith put on Instagram.
The Nuke had not been in a relationship since splitting from ex-girlfriend Eloise Milburn in July last year.

But during the final defeat to Humphries on Thursday night, the TV cameras cut briefly to the Littler support clan.
And among them was Faith, cheering on her rumoured boyfriend in a red sleeveless top alongside Littler's dad Anthony Buckley and mum Lisa Littler.

The darts superstar came from behind to edge past Gerwyn Price in the semi-finals, winning 10-7 against the Ice Man.
But his dreams of repeating his heroic exploits of 12 months ago were dashed by a red-hot Humphries.

Arsenal target Rodrygo sends transfer message but is met with brutal response
Real Madrid forward Rodrygo has been linked with Arsenal among other clubs this summer and the Brazil international has now told the club hierarchy where he sees his future Rodrygo has told Real Madrid he is determined to stay and fight for his place at the Bernabeu - but he will only be given the Club World Cup tournament to prove his worth to Xabi Alonso. The Brazil forward, 24, has been linked with a move away from the Bernabeu this summer amid speculation that the Spanish giants are keen to cash in. Arsenal are among those who could offer Rodrygo an escape route if Real do decide to move him on. However, the player himself has no interest in pursuing a move elsewhere - something he told the club himself when he was asked about his future by the club. Marca have the details and they say Rodrygo is 'determined' to continue playing for Real Madrid despite transfer speculation linking him with a move elsewhere. There is, however, a twist; Los Blancos are said to be 'worried' about a drop off in Rodrygo's performance levels since February and would like to see some evidence that the former Santos man can play an influential role under Alonso, the club's new head coach, sooner rather than later. That means the upcoming Club World Cup in the United States will be crucial for Rodrygo, who could yet be sold if he fails to 'convince' the powerbrokers at Real Madrid that he is back to his best. Despite links with a move elsewhere, it's said there have been offers for Rodrygo to date. Arsenal are known to be interested in the versatile forward as they seek more firepower for another assault on the Premier League title. As well as adding a top No.9 to Mikel Arteta 's squad, the Gunners want to sign a quality left-sided forward. Join the debate! Would Rodrygo be a good signing for Arsenal? Let us know here Athletic Bilbao's Nico Williams is said to be their target but putting together a package for Rodrygo would likely be cheaper than prising the Euro 2024 winner away from Spain. When he was asked about interest in Rodrygo earlier this month, Arteta replied: 'If you want to win major trophies, you have to be the best in the market, no? The teams that win always have the best players. 'I wouldn't like to name a player, but there is pride because we have brought the club into a position that next season people are saying: 'You have to win a major trophy.' And that means that everybody believes, and that we are an elite team in this country and in Europe. The biggest statement is that Arsenal is there. 'What is clear with the amount of injuries that we had in the front line is that we need a goal threat and we need firepower. Understanding that the context can change tomorrow, we cannot rely just on the numbers that we had before. We have to add goals, creativity, and we have to add numbers, and that will be in different positions.'

Nicola Peltz's pals break silence for first time over Brooklyn Beckham claims
Nicola Peltz's pals address claims that she is "isolating" Brooklyn Beckham in new defence - as sources close to the Beckham family speak of their continued upset as the feud rumbles on Brooklyn Beckham's Instagram video last week in which he said he would 'always choose' his wife must have hurt his parents amid their well-publicised family feud. But other recent social media posts have allegedly proved just, if not more, painful to David and Victoria as the falling out shows no sign of abating. A picture uploaded to Instagram three days ago shows Brooklyn sipping a pint in a pub, with bottles of his own-brand hot sauce on the table in front of him. Innocuous enough to outsiders – but friends of the Beckhams recognised the distinctive light fittings and stark green walls in the background. One pal says: 'The picture was taken in London's Wigmore pub, which is part of the Langham Hotel where the Beckhams have sometimes stayed. 'The fact that Brooklyn appeared to be in the country and failed to see any of his family was heartbreaking. And not only that, but here he was posting about it.' Brooklyn, 26, and his wife Nicola Peltz, 30, had flown to London for a joint photoshoot with Italian luxury fashion brand Moncler, which took place less than two miles from the Beckham family home in Holland Park. Dad David, 50, was not far away – he was pictured with the King at the Chelsea Flower show that day – just three miles from the Wigmore. A pal reveals: 'Brooklyn had kept the visit quiet from not only his mum and dad but his siblings and extended family. It was terribly sad that he had flown thousands of miles to London and hadn't engaged at all. It would have been very easy to meet up.' Another Instagram post, made on May 16, showed Brooklyn with Nicola's late grandmother to mark the anniversary of her death. He captioned it: 'I miss you and will love you forever.' A friend said: 'Brooklyn's heart is of course in the right place…but it hasn't gone unnoticed how all the while he is posting about Nicola's family he is silent about his own, including his own grandfather whose birthday it was last week.' To acquaintances of the family, the blame for what they believe are 'performative' social media posts lies with heiress Nicola. They list concerns that she is somehow orchestrating her husband's social media activity, which they claim is out of character, and that she is responsible for 'isolating' Brooklyn from his friends and family. A pal says: 'She is creating conflict where there is none and divides are springing up left, right and centre.' But a source close to the couple has hit back at suggestions Nicola is 'controlling' her husband – and insists Brooklyn is very much his own man. They reveal: 'She is not isolating him at all. He is free to do what he wants and he loves his wife and they are happy together. They are each other's family.' Brooklyn captioned last weekend's motorbike video, shot in Beverly Hills: 'My whole world. I will love you forever. I always choose you baby.' The source insists this was 'completely misinterpreted' as being a dig at his own family. The source adds: 'It's a real shame that what Brooklyn did – which was a statement of love for his wife – is being portrayed as something that it's not. 'He loves his wife and everyone should be proud: his parents, his family friends. He stands by his wife and that's a normal thing to be a loving and supportive husband.' Asked if there was any desire for reconciliation on Brooklyn's side, the source said it was impossible given the highly charged atmosphere. Sources close to Nicola have previously insisted that as 'an outsider coming into the Beckham family, she has helped Brooklyn see the emotional abuse and toxic behaviour within'. The claims – described as 'patently untrue and ludicrous' by friends of David and Victoria – were the 'nail in the coffin' of any future relationship, according to insiders. Despite this, sources close to Nicola claim she doesn't want any fighting and is upset by the feud being played out publicly. Her friends say she tried to integrate. 'Nicola was working hard to have a healthy relationship,' says one. Pals of the Beckhams dispute this, with one saying: 'It's hard to find a way back after absurd allegations of emotional abuse.' Despite Nicola's pals claiming she doesn't want a battle, in other facets of her life she is known to fight. Last week it emerged she had hired high-powered celebrity attorney 'Mad Dog' Marty Singer, who has represented stars such as Michael Jackson and Kim Kardashian. Nicola is suing a dog groomer she alleges is responsible for the death of her chihuahua Nala and French bulldog Frankie. It comes after previous legal battles with her wedding planners. A source said: 'Nicola's family haven't become billionaires by being shy and retiring... it's in their nature to fight for what they believe is right.' As for the feud with her in-laws, many wonder how it will ever resolve. Some say a big sign will be if Brooklyn acknowledges his sister Harper's 14th birthday next month – he did not publicly mark Victoria's 51st nor David's 50th this year. Brooklyn and Nicola have posted pictures of themselves with Harper, and he is thought to be very fond of his youngest sibling. A pal says: 'Brooklyn isn't talking to his mum and dad, as well as Romeo, because he disapproves of his girlfriend. 'But in that case this 'feud' should start and end with them… 'The fact he has distanced himself from the whole, extended family is what makes this so sad. Perhaps Harper's birthday – and an acknowledgement of it – will be the first steps towards a peace deal.' Watch this space next month – but at this rate peace looks a long way off.

Chelsea star confirms he's snubbing surprise £50m Arsenal transfer in statement
Chelsea sent Andrey Santos out on loan to sister club Strasbourg and could reap the benefits in the summer transfer window after the Brazilian midfielder performed brilliantly Andrey Santos says he only has eyes for Chelsea after his sparkling form on loan at Strasbourg attracted attention from Arsenal. Santos is yet to make a single competitive appearance for Chelsea, but is already turning the heads of scouts thanks to a productive loan spell at the Blues' French sister club. The 21-year-old midfielder racked up 11 goals and five assists in 34 appearances in all competitions for Strasbourg in 2024/25. He was signed by Chelsea for £13million back in January 2023 from Brazilian side Vasco da Gama, but is still waiting for his first-team debut – something that has now been thrown into further doubt. Santos initially failed to get a work permit with Chelsea and was then loaned out to Nottingham Forest and Strasbourg to get game time. He has responded well, even captaining the French side on occasions, and there have been suggestions that Chelsea could cash in by selling the Brazilian for £50m, without him ever playing for the club. It was reported earlier this season that Arsenal were 'working hard' to sign Santos, while French giants Paris Saint-Germain are also interested. But Chelsea co-owner Todd Boehly has talked up Santos' potential ahead of possible involvement at the Club World Cup this summer, and the player himself is keen to have a shot at success with his parent club. 'Everyone knows about my love, my desire to play for Chelsea. Enzo Maresca was very sincere with me. I went to Strasbourg to get minutes. Now we'll see how it goes at the Club World Cup,' he told the Daily Mail. 'The affection from Chelsea fans is something very special as well. Ever since the news broke that I was going to Chelsea, they started sending me a lot of messages. Back when I was at Vasco, too. And I had the spell at Nottingham, where I didn't play, but they sent me messages there too, I'd see some posts, they'd tag me on Instagram and Twitter.' He appears to have the backing of Boehly, who has hinted that Santos would play at the upcoming Club World Cup. 'We are laser focused on the Club World Cup,' he said. 'We have some players that are joining us [like] Andrey Santos. We are really excited about him and what he can add to the squad.' HAVE YOUR SAY! Can Andrey Santos break into the Chelsea team next season? Comment below. However, Chelsea manager Maresca has sounded a more cautious note, knowing that he already has Moises Caicedo, Romeo Lavia, Enzo Fernandez and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall in central midfield, among others. 'Now, we know that Andrey is doing well,' he said earlier this season. 'But in this moment, we are just focused about how we finish this season. And then when we finish this season, we're going to start to think about next season.'
