Stokes wins the toss again and England chooses to bowl first against India in 4th test
India made three changes for the fourth test — Sai Sudharsan (for Karun Nair), Shardul Thakur (Nitish Reddy) and test debutant Anshul Kamboj (Akash Deep).
England had already announced its team with spinner Liam Dawson back in test cricket after eight years. He replaces injured spinner Shoaib Bashir in England's only change from the heated third test at Lord's.
India captain Shubman Gill said Tuesday that England had acted against the 'spirit of the game' by delaying play at Lord's. Gill was not happy about England batsmen Zak Crawley and Ben Duckett being late to the crease on the third day of the test, which the host won by 22 runs to take a 2-1 series lead.
England can secure a series victory with a win.

Chelsea Are Locked In A Three-Way Battle For This Manchester United Attacker: Is He Worth The Fight?
In a recent report, The Telegraph claimed that Chelsea are locked in a three-way battle for Manchester United attacker Alejandro Garnacho. It has been mentioned that the Blues would have to rival Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa in the race to land the Argentine playmaker this summer. Garnacho's Impressive Form In English Football Last Season Garnacho had a decent campaign with the Mancunian club recently as he managed to shine at times for them in the Premier League. The Argentine talent participated in 58 matches for Man United last season, scoring 11 times and earning ten assists in multiple competitions. The 21-year-old was an impressive performer in the opposition half based on his average of 3.44 shots per 90 minutes in the Premier League. However, he kept 34.5% of his attempts on target. Garnacho distributed the ball relatively well after completing 78.9% of his attempted passes in the English top tier (stats via His current contract at the Mancunian club will run out in the summer of 2028 which could make it tough for the Blues to land him on the cheap this off-season. BILBAO, SPAIN – MAY 21: Alejandro Garnacho of Manchester United looks dejected following defeat in the UEFA Europa League Final 2025 between Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United at Estadio de San Mames on May 21, 2025 in Bilbao, Spain. (Photo by) Chelsea Are Locked In A Three-Way Battle For Garnacho: Is He Worth The Fight? Garnacho is a decent dribbler with the ball at his feet and can make a few driving runs with it out in the wide areas. He can shoot the ball with venom from long range and has got the vision to create some inviting chances for his teammates to find the back of the net. However, the Argentine talent has to find a way to be more lethal in front of the opposition goal. Garnacho is primarily an attacking midfielder but can also function as a winger if needed. Garnacho would add more firepower to Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca's frontline. He has what it takes to compete for a regular first-team spot at the West London club next season. At 21, Garnacho has got a promising future ahead of him and could prove to be a great signing for the Blues in the long run. With all things considered, the Argentina international would be well worth the fight, so Maresca would be wise to step up his efforts to sign him this summer.

Luke Littler requires stirring comeback to beat Jermaine Wattimena
Luke Littler dug himself out of a massive hole to stay alive in the World Matchplay with a tense 13-11 win over Jermaine Wattimena. Littler fell 4-0 and 7-2 behind but charged back into an 8-7 lead, the match then going to a tiebreaker before the teenager made it into the quarter-finals. Littler looked in ominous form with his crushing 10-2 win over Ryan Searle on Sunday but the tables were turned early on here. Wattimena meant business and stormed into a 4-0 lead that left heads spinning in the Winter Gardens. Littler took the next two but it was only a temporary reprieve as Wattimena rediscovered his rhythm, making it 7-2 with back-to-back 180s part of an 11-darter. When Littler pulled back the next leg he gestured to the crowd, pointing to the world champion's star on his shirt as he indicated he was not ready to go home yet. And he then set about showing it as he won six legs on the spin, the pressure clearly getting to Wattimena as his earlier poise vanished. The Dutchman recovered to level at 8-8, then punished a Littler miss for 9-9 as the contest went the distance. As it went to extra legs both players were missing their throws before Littler got the D10 he needed to end the fight. 'When I pointed to the star on my shirt, I'm a world champion for a reason, I find these gears when I need it,' Littler said on Sky Sports. 'I've not felt pressure like that since the first round of the world championship. I was a bit nervous and it's on to my third game here, I've won two of them. 'I want to get back on stage and right now I can't wait to be in the quarter-final.' Earlier Gerwyn Price stormed through with an 11-3 rout of Chris Dobey. Price left Dobey with little chance, averaging 108.73 and hitting eight 180s in a performance highlighted by a 146 finish that put him 3-0 up. 'It was fantastic,' the Welshman said. 'The middle part of the game I felt like I couldn't miss. I put Chris under a lot of pressure. I think he still played decent in patches. 'I think early on we were both flying and I was just pipping him on a couple of legs, probably disheartened him a little bit. It's a good game for me.' Former UK champion Andrew Gilding made it through to the last eight with an 11-5 win over Dirk van Duijvenbode.
