The injury occurred during a pass play where Jalen Hurts connected with Saquon Barkley in the flat on the opposite side of the field, according to ESPN's Tim McManus. Dickerson stayed down for several minutes before being helped off the field, unable to put weight on his right leg.
Dickerson's injury history raises additional concerns. He tore both ACLs while at Florida State and Alabama and played through a left knee injury during Philadelphia's Super Bowl run earlier this year. Despite being limited in Saturday's practice with a knee issue, he was a full participant Sunday.
The Eagles boast one of the NFL's elite offensive lines, making any extended absence by Dickerson a significant blow to their championship aspirations.
The 26-year-old Dickerson signed a four-year, $84 million extension in March 2024.

Cleveland Browns rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders has been a sponge during the preseason, soaking up as much information from veterans as he can. On Monday, the Browns' social media team shared a mic'd up moment of Sanders asking teammate and star defensive end Myles Garrett how he would plan his pass rush against the rookie quarterback. On Wednesday, Sanders had a "lengthy conversation" with Philadelphia Eagles quarterback and reigning Super Bowl MVP Jalen Hurts after practice. Cleveland had planned for Sanders to start the game if fellow rookie Dillon Gabriel, who has been dealing with hamstring tightness, had been unable to go, according to reports. ESPN's FPI model has projected the floor and ceiling win totals for the 2025 Indianapolis Colts. What is the floor and what is the ceiling for the 2025 Indianapolis Colts? As you can guess, that's a pretty wide range and will likely be determined by the play of the quarterback. To get an idea of how good--or bad--this year's Colts team can be, we turn to ESPN's Football Power Index (FPI). The projected win totals that this model came up with take into account 20,000 simulations of the entire 2025 season. To find the high and low win total marks, the ESPN research team picked out the middle 90% of those simulations to determine the floor and ceiling for each team. So what's the best and worst case scenario for the Colts based on the FPI model? On the high end, the Colts go 11-6. With steady quarterback play, one can see how this is possible. Around the quarterback is a well-put-together roster that the Colts have. The offensive line should be stout, and in the backfield is Jonathan Taylor. The Colts were also the only team last season to have three wide receivers each eclipse 800 receiving yards, while Indianapolis added Tyler Warren this offseason as well. The secondary was also reshaped this offseason, and the addition of Lou Anarumo as defensive coordinator should help elevate the entire unit. On the flip side, the low end for the Colts is 5-12. Even with up and down quarterback play again, I still think the overall roster is too good to be just a five-win team, but with poor quarterback play, it can't be ruled out either.
