OPEN// Sisi reviews progress of Zahraa Stud Station development project
CAIRO, May 3 (MENA) – President Abdel Fattah El Sisi has reviewed the progress of El Zahraa Stud Station development project for breeding purebred Arabian horses in Cairo's Ain Shams district.
This came during the president's meeting with Agriculture and Land Reclamation Minister Alaa Farouk and Director of the Egyptian Military Academy Ashraf Zaher.
The meeting took up the progress of the national project to upgrade the station and current preparations to relocate Arabian horses to El Zahraa station in the New Administrative Capital, Presidential Spokesman Mohammed El Shennawy said.
The president issued directives to develop El Zahraa Station in Cairo's Ain Shams district with the use of digitization and automated systems and to ensure the relocation of the station to the New Administrative Capital in a professional and efficient way. (MENA)

OPEN// Egypt, EU call for two-state solution, end to Gaza war
CAIRO, June 3 (MENA) – President Abdel Fattah El Sisi received a phone call from European Council President António Costa, during which they stressed the importance of working toward a two-state solution and the establishment of a Palestinian state. During the talks, both sides discussed the Gaza situation and regional developments, according to presidential spokesman Mohamed El Shennawy. Also, they reviewed cooperation and steps to advance the Egypt–EU strategic partnership. President Sisi presented Egypt's role in seeking a Gaza ceasefire and a captive-prisoner exchange, and called for more international pressures to stop the war and ensure safe entry of aid into Gaza. The two sides supported the upcoming peace conference in New York and the expansion of international recognition of Palestine. They rejected any attempts to displace Palestinians from their land. CAIRO, June 1 (MENA) – Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty received a phone call on Sunday from Massad Boulos, Senior Advisor to US President Donald Trump for Arab and Middle Eastern Affairs and Senior Advisor for Africa. Boulos expressed deep appreciation for President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi's warm reception during his recent Cairo visit, describing it as positive and reflective of the strong bilateral ties. They exchanged views on the situation in Libya, Sudan, and the Great Lakes region. Abdelatty shared the outcomes of the tripartite meeting of Libya's neighboring states (Egypt, Algeria, Tunisia), which emphasized the need for preserving Libya's unity and sovereignty and for the withdrawal of foreign forces and militias. Both sides agreed on the importance for achieving stability and ending divisions in the country. On Sudan, Abdelatty reaffirmed Egypt's support for Sudan's unity and stability and highlighted Egypt's positive engagement with efforts to secure a ceasefire and alleviate the people's humanitarian suffering. The two agreed to enhance joint coordination with the US and key stakeholders on Sudan. Regarding the Great Lakes region, the top diplomat welcomed the US-facilitated Declaration of Principles signed by the DRC and Rwanda on April 25, calling it a vital step for peace, stability, and regional development.
