Sa'ada - Saba:
Member of the Supreme Political Council Mohammed Ali Al-Houthi and the Minister of Electricity, Energy and Water Dr. Ali Saif were briefed on Friday on the extent of the damage to the national power plant in Sa'ada province after it was targeted by the US, Saudi and Emirati aggression during the past period and put it out of service.
Al-Houthi and Dr. Ali Saif, along with Deputy Minister of Electricity, Energy and Water Adel Saleh Bader, listened to an explanation of the extent of the damage to the station, which used to feed the city of Sa'ada and parts of the neighboring districts with electricity with a capacity of nine megawatts, and the losses caused by the aggression raids on the station, estimated at three billion riyals.
A meeting chaired by Supreme Political Member Mohammed Ali al-Houthi, which included the Minister of Electricity, Energy and Water and his deputy, the Secretary General of the Provincial Local Council Mohammed al-Emad, the Deputy Governor Mohammed Baydan, and members of the local councils in the two districts, discussed the needs of Sa'ada and Saqin districts for electricity, water and sanitation projects.
"We reaffirm that what was targeted by the US, Saudi, Emirati and British aggression in our country did not deter us from confronting injustice, tyranny and terrorism, this is terrorism itself, and we say to Trump and his current administration, you were previously the one who bombed the station and did not affect the course of our movement in the face of global tyranny and arrogance," he said.
"We stood by Gaza, and what happened in Gaza and the destruction in Gaza happened in Sa'ada and many Yemeni provinces," the Supreme Political Member added, stressing that the Yemeni people still carry today the pride, religion, faith and jihad in the way of God, launching and moving to confront the American and Zionist tyranny.
The Minister of Electricity, Energy and Water and his deputy emphasized their keenness to visit the province and support local development efforts, especially electricity, water and sanitation projects, in order to alleviate the suffering of the people of the provin under the current conditions.
They pointed out that electricity, energy and sanitation projects in Sa'ada governorate are prioritized as part of the Ministry of Electricity and Energy's plans for the current year and a practical translation of the program of the government of change and construction and the directives of the revolutionary and political leadership.
For his part, the director of the local water and sanitation organization in the province, Engineer Mohammed Al-Sadi, reviewed the progress of work in the organization and its activities during the past period.

UN: Gaza Humanitarian Foundation fails to carry out humanitarian action

Geneva – Saba: The United Nations condemned on Friday the work of the so-called "Gaza Humanitarian Foundation," which is supported by the Israeli entity and the United States. During a press conference in Geneva, Jens Laerke, spokesperson for the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), said that this organization, which distributes food supplies in the Gaza Strip under often chaotic conditions, has failed to carry out humanitarian work. He said, "The Gaza Humanitarian Foundation, in terms of humanitarian principles, has failed. They are not doing what a humanitarian operation is supposed to do, which is to provide assistance to people where they are, in a safe manner." According to the United Nations, distributing food and essential supplies in the besieged and devastated Gaza Strip after more than twenty months of continuous Israeli aggression has become increasingly difficult and dangerous in the Palestinian territories threatened by famine. According to Laerke, "The United Nations is prepared to resume large-scale humanitarian aid operations as soon as Israel allows a sufficient number of aid trucks to pass through." As of Thursday, 245 Palestinians were martyred and 2,125 others were injured by Israeli enemy army fire near aid distribution sites run by the so-called "Gaza Humanitarian Foundation." With American and European support, the Israeli enemy army has continued to commit genocidal crimes in the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023. This has resulted in the deaths of 55,207 Palestinian civilians, the majority of whom are children and women, and the injury of 127,821 others, as of Thursday, according to a preliminary toll. Thousands of victims remain under the rubble and on the roads, unable to be reached by ambulance and rescue crews. Whatsapp Telegram Email Print more of (International)

Sana'a –Saba: Dr. Abdulaziz Saleh Bin Habtoor, a member of the Supreme Political Council and founder of BRICS Yemen Day, has sent a congratulatory cable to Professor Alexander Dugin, a contemporary Russian philosopher, on the occasion of Russia Day and the centenary of Yemeni-Russian bilateral relations. In his cable, Dr. Bin Habtoor extended best wishes to the Russian Federation, highlighting Russia's pivotal role in paving the way for state sovereignty, resisting hegemony, achieving international justice, and enabling free markets based on independent national currencies against "cancerous dollar imperialism." He praised Professor Dugin's intellectual contributions as an "exceptional guide" for Russia, the Eurasian Economic Union, BRICS, and free peoples globally in understanding and influencing global reality. Dr. Bin Habtoor noted that human civilization now agrees that the "victory of Gaza and Palestine is the victory of the multipolar human pole" against abhorrent Zionist polarization. He also congratulated Dugin on the translation of his latest book, "The Multipolar World: From Idea to Reality," emphasizing the central role of BRICS countries in a significant human transformation.
