First look of Time Pass promises a dark but funny reality check on the film industry

The first look of Time Pass, an upcoming dark comedy by debut director K Chethan Jodidhar, is here. Billed as a sharp satire on the film industry itself, Time Pass is lead by a young team that hopes to challenge convention and bring unfiltered and passionate storytelling to the screen.
Another aspect of the film's unabashed nature is how Chethan has no film school background or assistant director experience. He admittedly learned the craft by obsessively watching films and studying YouTube tutorials. It is this raw curiosity that has transformed into a full-length feature, which is currently in post-production.
The story follows seven eccentric characters whose love for cinema spirals into chaos, blending absurdity with emotional truth.
On the technical front, Rajeev Ganesan handles the cinematography, Hari Param is the editor, and the music is by DK (DM Udhayakumar). The soundtrack features live-recorded music from musicians, who have also worked with the likes of Ilaiyaraaja and AR Rahman. Chethan and Vaishnavi Sathyanarayan have written the lyrics in the film.
Produced by Shree Chethana Services, Gundooru Shekhar, Kiran Kumar Shetty, and MH Krishnamurthy, the film cast includes Imran Pasha, Vaisiri K Gowda, Rathsharam, Om Sri, and Chethan.

Meet Vijay Mallya's adopted daughter, a jewellery designer, also had links to IPL, her name is...

Meet Vijay Mallya's adopted daughter, a jewellery designer, also had links to IPL, her name is… Fugitive billionaire Vijay Mallya, who is accused of defaulting on loans from several Indian banks, still makes headlines in India. Not only because of the developments in the cases but also for his luxurious lifestyle. But younger generations don't know much about him or his personal life. Very few people know that Mallya adopted a girl and raised her like his daughter. We are talking about Laila Mallya. Unlike her father, she stays away from the public eye and lives a peaceful life. Laila is a very important chapter of Vijay Mallya's personal life. Let's talk about her. Who is Laila Mallya? Vijay Mallya adopted Laila after marrying Rekha Mallya in the 1990s. She grew up in luxury but after getting mature, she chose a very different life, completely different from her father's lifestyle. After Vijay got separated from his first wife, Sameera Tayabji, he met his childhood crush, Rekha in 1993. This was the time when Rakha was about to get separated from her husband Shahid Mahmood. Laila Mahmood was the daughter of Rekha. Mallya not only married Rekha in 1993 but also adopted Laila as his daughter. Since that time the little Laila became a part of Mallya's family. Laila studied at Mallya Aditi International School in Bengaluru. After completing her preliminary studies, she moved to Waltham to complete a degree in international business from Bentley University. She further studied at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. Laila Mallya's Profession In 2009, she worked with IPL founder Lalit Modi as an executive assistant. However, Laila left the job and returned to her creative interest, launching her jewellery brand – Social Butterfly. Her jewellery brand is famous for fusing traditional Indian designs with modern aesthetics. Laila's jewellery designs gained popularity in Bengaluru's fashion scene being sold at Kahawa boutique. Her innovative approach to accessories led to a Vogue India feature in 2015. Despite maintaining a low profile, she cultivated a dedicated clientele and continues her jewellery design work as of 2025. Laila Mallya's siblings Laila, adopted by Vijay Mallya after her mother's marriage, considers herself a member of the Mallya family. She has two younger half-sisters, Leanna and Tanya, and an older biological brother, Kabir. Laila Mallya's Personal Life Laila Mallya married Samar Singh in 2011 in a private ceremony, which was held in Bali. Samar is an investment banker. Like his wife, he also chose to live a quiet life, away from media attention and controversies. Vijay Mallya Made Headlines Recently Vijay Mallya recently gave his first extensive interview in years, appearing on Raj Shamani's YouTube podcast. He apologised to former Kingfisher Airlines employees for the airline's failure, while denying accusations of theft, characterising himself as a fugitive but not a criminal. He expressed a willingness to return to India only if guaranteed a fair and respectful trial. Mallya also discussed the marketing impact of the Kingfisher Swimsuit Calendar, highlighting its role in launching the careers of Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif. The interview was described as his most open and honest conversation to date.

Rajeev Sen On Ex-Wife Charu Asopa Moving To Bikaner: ‘She Will Come Back'

Last Updated: Sushmita Sen's brother Rajeev Sen says his ex-wife Charu Asopa's move to Bikaner has made it difficult for him to be present in daughter Ziana's life as a father. Rajeev Sen, and his ex-wife Charu Asopa have been hitting the headlines after the latter moved to Bikaner with their daughter Ziana. Charu earlier said that she informed Rajeev about her plan to move, and that he can always visit his daughter in Bikaner. In his latest video, Rajeev Sen reacted to Charu's move, saying it has made it difficult for him to be present in their daughter Ziana's life, as he can't travel to Bikaner every weekend. He said that there was 'absolutely no need' for his ex-wife to leave Mumbai, and that he is sure she will come back and settle again in Mumbai. In a video shared on his YouTube channel, Rajeev Sen said, 'The woman will always have a bigger role to play, especially when the child is with her. I have very limited resources. I can only do video calls, or I can go meet her (Ziana). Right now, she is not in Bombay. More than anything else, I feel very bad for Ziana. At least if nothing else, there was no need for Charu to leave Bombay. Absolutely no need. Because ghoom phir kea ap log dekh lena, she will come back to Bombay. And I'm not saying for me. She will come back, she will settle down again here." He said that after living and working in the city for so many years, one gets used to the lifestyle and builds friendships. He said that visiting Ziana has become a challenge, because he cannot go to Bikaner every weekend. 'Unki bhi ek lifestyle rahi hai yaha pe. Bikaner is completely different. Main agar Bikaner jaau bhi, toh aisa nahi hai ki every weekend I'll be going to Bikaner. I live here and I keep travelling for work to other places. It will never be easy for me to keep going to Bikaner all the time. Main jaunga zaroor. (I will definitely go)," said Rajeev. Rajeev Sen Says He And Charu Asopa Are 'Strong Headed People' He further added that he and his ex-wife are both strong headed people, who couldn't understand each other. 'Ek dusre ko samajh nahi paaye. Ek dusre ko respect nahi kar paaye. Pyaar toh bohot tha. (We couldn't understand each other. We couldn't respect each other. There was a lot of love, though). But I feel like whatever happened was for the highest good. For her and for me." He further added, 'When it comes to Ziana, if Charu genuinely wants a father's love for her daughter, she needs to play the bigger role because Ziana is with her." Rajeev said that Ziana is too young to understand what's really happening. He believes this situation applies to many divorced couples with children. He emphasized that children should be allowed to meet their fathers, regardless of issues between the parents. According to him, while couples can separate if they have problems, it's a child's right to receive love from both their mother and father. 'Unfortunately, I haven't been able to spend time with Ziana as a father should do. Dropping her to school, picking her up. Sometimes I feel I am a father, but baap banne ka mauka hi nahi mila," he concluded. First Published:
