First look of Time Pass promises a dark but funny reality check on the film industry
The first look of Time Pass, an upcoming dark comedy by debut director K Chethan Jodidhar, is here. Billed as a sharp satire on the film industry itself, Time Pass is lead by a young team that hopes to challenge convention and bring unfiltered and passionate storytelling to the screen.
Another aspect of the film's unabashed nature is how Chethan has no film school background or assistant director experience. He admittedly learned the craft by obsessively watching films and studying YouTube tutorials. It is this raw curiosity that has transformed into a full-length feature, which is currently in post-production.
The story follows seven eccentric characters whose love for cinema spirals into chaos, blending absurdity with emotional truth.
On the technical front, Rajeev Ganesan handles the cinematography, Hari Param is the editor, and the music is by DK (DM Udhayakumar). The soundtrack features live-recorded music from musicians, who have also worked with the likes of Ilaiyaraaja and AR Rahman. Chethan and Vaishnavi Sathyanarayan have written the lyrics in the film.
Produced by Shree Chethana Services, Gundooru Shekhar, Kiran Kumar Shetty, and MH Krishnamurthy, the film cast includes Imran Pasha, Vaisiri K Gowda, Rathsharam, Om Sri, and Chethan.

Dil Raju denounces industry practice of buying YouTube views for trailers, songs: ‘Don't want to fake numbers anymore'
Producer Dil Raju attended the trailer launch of his upcoming film Thammudu, starring Nithiin. He opened up about the industry practice of buying YouTube views for trailers and songs, announcing that he's denouncing it. Here's what he said. (Also Read: Allu Aravind backs Pawan Kalyan and questions theatre bandh during HHVM release; Dil Raju claims 'miscommunication') Raju stated at the event that he has directed his PR team not to buy any views on YouTube for Thammudu's trailer or songs. He said, 'I've been meaning to talk about this for a while now, and I must address it today. Whatever views you see on YouTube for this film are original. I've told my PR team and everyone working for me that the numbers must reflect real views. I do not want to fake numbers anymore.' He stated that he's adapting this practice so he knows beforehand, as a producer, how much the audience is really interested in his films. 'I want to know how many views my songs or trailers bring in so I'm prepared for how much reach it'll have upon release. When we're buying views, there's a large number for us to show, but we don't really know if it's reaching the intended audience. Even if it's difficult, I've decided to take the first step in doing this,' explained Raju. When everyone looked shocked at the tangent his speech took, Raju claimed that he wasn't stating anything 'controversial', reasoning that it's the only way producers can 'correct' themselves. 'I am not saying anything controversial. I believe we (producers) will know how to correct ourselves only when we see genuine numbers. If the film is worth it, people will watch it anyway. Look at how Sankranthiki Vasthunam became an all-time record. Court also became a super hit. 2025 has proved that all we need is good content.' In January this year, Raju was called out by the press for releasing a poster for the Ram Charan-starrer Game Changer, claiming it earned over ₹186 crore worldwide on its opening day, when in reality it earned that amount in its lifetime. He defensively said, 'I've already said we (producers) have weaknesses we can't discuss. I admit that, no. Don't you know how much the film has already collected? So you calculate and put out posters for films now.'

Alia Bhatt Shares A Sneak Peek Into Her "2 Days At Cannes"
Alia Bhatt made a spectacular red carpet debut at the Cannes Film Festival 2025. She served not one but four stunning looks. The credit goes to stylist Rhea Kapoor for choosing the mesmerising outfits. Now, the Jigra star has shared glimpses of her two-day extravaganza. The video, posted on YouTube, opens to Alia Bhatt getting ready for Day 1. Her makeup and hair are being done as she sits patiently in the chair. 'We're here at Cannes. Rhea's not looking happy,' Alia sings playfully, teasing Rhea. To this, Rhea replied that she was 'thinking' about how to tie her look together. Alia Bhatt is the brand ambassador of L'Oréal Paris and walked on the Cannes red carpet for the beauty major. 'This is my first time at Cannes and I'm nervously excited,' admits Alia Bhatt. She refuses to have a centre-parted hairstyle, claiming that it doesn't suit her face. Her makeup artist follows the instructions and combs her pin-straight tresses into a side-parted fashion. Blush on her cheeks gave her a rosy glow, her eyebrows are filled and a soft eyeshadow is dabbed - sculpting her face beautifully. Hairspray helped her get-ready to keep Alia's neat bun in place. Then, Alia Bhatt slipped into the ivory-nude Schiaparelli mermaid gown. After a quick photoshoot on the hotel balcony, she arrived at the red carpet. The actress greeted the attendees with a smile, shook hands with some of them and posed with Bridgerton star Simone Ashley. Alia Bhatt's second look was a Giorgio Armani Prive gown. It was picked from the label's spring/summer 2025 collection. The strapless number was a bejewelled wonder and the beaded hair cap was reminiscent of the 1920s flapper style. Alia Bhatt's next two sartorial avatars were from Gucci. She radiated old Hollywood glamour in a sunflower-yellow pencil skirt, a matching corset top and a cropped jacket. The floral headscarf screamed French fashion. Soon after, she switched to a nude-hued monogrammed GG sari, embracing a desi charm.

iShowSpeed shows off new Cristiano Ronaldo tattoo on livestream; ChatGPT says ‘it looks like…'
iShowSpeed has been one of Cristiano Ronaldo's loudest online fans and has once again gone viral–but this time, it's for his tattoo tribute to the football legend. Speed has made no secret of his obsession with Ronaldo, constantly hailing him as the greatest of all time. He even got the chance to meet his idol recently. But now, he's taken things up a notch by getting a portrait of Ronaldo inked on his arm. Funny enough, this wasn't Speed's first attempt. He had already got a Ronaldo tattoo, but even he admitted it didn't really look like the Portuguese star. Social media agreed. Determined to set things right, Speed decided to get it fixed. During a recent YouTube livestream, he proudly unveiled the updated version to his fans. 'It's way better, chat,' he said, holding up his phone to show the tattoo. 'It looks way better than what it was,' he added before sharing the before-and-after shots with his viewers. But what should've been a proud moment quickly turned into internet comedy gold. Wanting to have a bit of fun, Speed uploaded a photo of his tattoo to ChatGPT, asking the AI to identify the footballer. The result? The AI said it was the Morocco national team and Paris Saint-Germain player Achraf Hakimi, not Ronaldo. 🚨| WATCH: ChatGPT thinks Speed's CR7 tattoo looks like Achraf Hakimi 💀😭😭 — Speedy HQ (@IShowSpeedHQ) June 11, 2025 'Ain't no f****g way,' Speed yelled, stunned by the result. 'What the hell is ChatGPT on?' Clips from the stream exploded online, with people piling on to roast the tattoo. One user joked, 'Looks worse than that Ronaldo statue holy shit,' while another chimed in, 'Looks nothing like Ronaldo.' Of course, Speed's chaotic energy is nothing new. He's built his massive fanbase with exactly these kinds of wild livestream moments. Just recently, after hitting 40 million subscribers on YouTube, he celebrated by slamming his head into his setup–leaving himself bleeding from the mouth on camera.
